She's always so stylish and gorgeous!

Congrats on her arrival! I was the same way when my Celine came home, I really just bought her for her body.... :X But she's developed into a really great OC of me and continues to amaze me everyday

Does anyone have a white skin/tan skin couple? I'm curious to see how they look next to each other. Any sculpts, and of course they don't have to be a couple.

 

I put little dots of hot glue in the hip sockets and it seems to work well

Thank goodness for that 'cause I just love Pommie. She's one of the main reasons I decided to give the sculpt a try!

ignore the crooked glasses....they do not want to stay straight. I'll go back to lurking now.

 

The thing is they still have to process all incoming orders while trying to update the older sculpts and it they do any events they have to factor that in as well. I think with how many heads they pulled and all they have to do, eight months is on the short side of things.

They have responded to my questions about F60's that there will be a winter event and that information should be released near the middle to end of this month.

Also thank you to everyone who commented on Andromeda! I'm really happy with how her look has come together!

Wow, love your Chloe trio, they all look so different! The sculpt can be so versatile. Nice to see all of the skins together. And their wigs are gorgeous!

they said there WILL be a winter event?? arghhhh..... I want to order soon to reduce the wait... but if there is going to be an event I definitely want to hang on. Did they mean that there will just be an event to open orders for the F60 again... or for all orders...?

my boy came and I was finally able to get him! Here he is with me at class today because I just couldn't leave him at home all day

 

They haven't been very specific(true FL style) so I'm not sure yet. For some they said F60's will be back after the even and other's it sounds like it's during the event.

 

Kinda sad about the discontinued mnf heads, I was planning to get a carl in the spring.

 

They're not discontinued, they're just unavailable until next fall.

 

Im not surprised they are discontinuing those sculpts as they are really old (back when luts made MNF) & at least it isn't permanent. Molds wear out over time its better they temporarily discontinue the sculpts to make new molds than just let them wear out & get discontinued forever.

They said they were only temporarily discontinuing the F70 line, and I'm still waiting on that one. So I don't expect much. In the mean time I'm actually down to only one MNF, I just play with my SDs more. And mine is a KDF head on an Mline body with older hands. I need to oxybath and blush the hands to match I think. (She loves to hang out with my Soony).

I am getting a Shushu head with a body I bought. It's not in great shape and I was going to sell it cheap but now I'm thinking I might hang onto it and get it a face-up in time...

 

I'm glad I already own a Shushu and a Marcia, and don't have plans on any of the others that are temporarily unavailable. My next Minifees planned are Karsh twins, and I don't think those are going to be unavailable any time soon.

Wow it looks like I ordered my Ruth just in time!!! Is that part of the FL put magnets in everyone's skulls project, you think? Not that I'm all that interested in horns and such but if they where there anyway I might use them from time to time.

In any case I'm going to feel very anxious about my Shushu, DES and Ruth until they rerelease them and I have that reassurance that if something should happen I can still have them.

 

I'm assuming they're going to do the magnets as well as the updated faceups. My guess is they're re-doing the molds to add the magnets (for both OE and SP faces), faceups being approved, and then photos for the faceups.

 

Ignore the wonky eyes lol, I need new eye putty, my girl's eye lowered by itself lol. I just wanted to share my shushu's lovely new faceup

That really is a great faceup! I love her eyebrows! I hope her wig arrives soon, I'll be excited to see more pics of her. My dolls' eyes are always being moved around by the eye putty, it drives me completely bonkers.

 

Same here that really made me sad. I had held off on getting a shushu and now I really wished I had gotten one instead of miyu seeing how she wasn't put on hold...

Sif is too sweet. Here she is next to a grumpy looking Hizaki (MSD Hewitt). Alas, Sif is permanently stuck with her hand like that because the wig's bangs are much too long and go in her face. If the bangs would just stay swept to the side the wig would be perfect, but it won't behave. *sighs* I'll need to get a small hair clip or something and keep hunting for a new wig. Shame cause I really like the mix of pink and yellow in this wig and I like the general style.

 

She is adorable! I'm sure you could cut the bangs if you wanted. There are some YouTube videos that show you the best ways to cut them so they don't look bad

zalem, I believe it's possible to "train" a wig to stay a particular way, like bangs swept to the side. I would ask crazykimochi, I think she's trained quite a few wigs for Zephii and her other dolls.

I don't really have a personal interest in the temporarily unavailable heads, but it sucks for people that had plans to order them soon. :c Shushu, especially, man. Love that sculpt.

I went through all my doll stuff today and WOW I had a lot of stuff I don't use/need anymore. OTL So excited to get rid of it so I can buy more stuff! I keep filling my Etsy cart with awesome stuff and then sitting and looking at it...wishing...sigh. ;P

I love them. Matt Smith is my fav . My Amy is still "item processing" I was hoping for her before Christmas. The wait is painful at times .

 

I've heard of people using a bit of pva glue to push the bangs aside so it'll hold, maybe you can try that?

 

So I was practicing making fur wigs yesterday and this is what I came up with [emoji13] its crazy and all the seems are horrible but I suppose it looks alright when modeled by rocket, who I think likes it a bit too much lol

 

I tried to do some Christmasy pictures yesterday but most didn't turn out. Here's one of the few that did. ^_^

Good news everyone! My Mirka and Soony are at DDE! I also got a Rix head I may keep. I won't be able to pay them off until after Christmas though, what a shame.

 

I heard in the waiting room that some Halloween events minifees are shipping, mine is in a split order with a mnf Mio FS on layaway with DDE so it won't be as fast but it's exciting nonetheless!

Ty all who gave tips for the wig. I'm going to try several things out to "train" the wig. Because it really does look good on her.

The dress is from DollHeart. It's in the slim MSD/Unoa section. It's really cute and suits Sif very much. To think I was thinking about selling it, but once I put it on her it was too perfect.

The only thing I wonder is whether it will work with a Moe body. I am thinking of giving this body to my Chloe and getting Sif a M-line, but considering the super snug fit of this outfit I'm not sure an M-line body would work out. Oh well, I like the A-line well enough. Maybe Chloe can get the M-line.

The blue glass does look good -- I'd love to see the 14mm Makos, when you have the chance. My MNF DES has either 14mm or 16mm ED eyes, but she's had them for so long that I've totally forgotten what size they are.

Since I don't think she's graced this thread, here's my Bracken -- she doesn't get much camera-time, but I'm hoping that with another MNF to keep her company, she won't feel so alone among my more-realistically-proportioned Naraes and Unoas!

Old comment but 12mm looks very off in the huge openings of the DES eyes. It gives her a shocked expression that might be useful for particular photo stories but that's about it. And besides round eyes gap and are a pain to get facing evenly so, nope no 12mm. The smallest and in my opinion best size for DES is 14mm.
Case in point: she looks... what's the opposite of cross-eyed called?
