I have at least a month to go for my Mir girl to come, but I've been busying myself by getting faceup supplies, and buying her things. I hope it's okay to share my purchases with you guys...

Thus far, I have gotten this wig which will come with her, have ordered some wonderful Makoeyes (OWL-009), and, so she won't be naked (and partly the reason I got her with the full bust), also bought her this precious lingerie set from Bouilleabetise, who I admired for a long time. Just got the set a few days ago, and it's just as lovely as the pictures- if not more.

I'm really excited to see how the items will look on her!​

Urushi-kitty, are you still gonna be able to see Prince? Because that would be an amazing life-experience, and I know how that feels because GaGa is having a jazz concert with Tony Benette (who I met last year in NY at Lady GaGa's album launch, and who is astoundingly nice!), and I really want to see it, but tickets are out now, and I certainly want to put as much money on my big MNF order as possible, so those tickets will have to wait until next year second hand probably. Since you are making your order for sure, what was that you said you wanted?

I know, post after post from me, but I'm an excited soon to be (not really that soon >,<) first time MNF owner, so it was bound to get bad. DDE just sent me an email about the Moe Boy Body, promising to add it to their site soon, so I can place my order soon. I thought about just adding an extra head, but I don't want to be tempted to spend more money knowing an extra head is coming, and it won't be any more expensive if I decide to order again later on (if I like MNFs…which probably impossible not to, from what I understand)...

 

So there doesn't seem to be much love for the current Minifee Event head, has anyone tried a sample Mock faceup to see whether it has potential when painted?

 

I saw one on facebook, it's actually a pretty cute boy, I just wouldn't spend $650 for it..

Hi All! I've been out of the hobby for a year, and sold off all of my minifee... But this tan event is really tempting me to order a Tan moe Karsh, or Ante... Any pictures to help convince me? Ehehe...

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's completely okay because your Karsh girl is wonderful. If I should ever get a tan minifée (I guess the better terminology is probably when, not if? /sigh), it will probably be a Karsh.​

I got my beautiful NS Chloe's body in the mail today. Her head was sent direct to get a face up so her body will remain in the box for now. But excited to see (most of) her here already!

 

i've made the decision to get another tan celine. i sold mine earlier this year, and i regretted it ever since. now with this tan event, i can have her back! might try for a long layaway with dde this time, with the holidays coming and all. i hope they'll let me.

 

Since we're at it. I'd love to see tan spam of Celine and Rheia (and Chloe too if you want). I need help choosing between the two in tan.

Of course you can spam non-tan versions as well! I'd just love to see the above to help me decide. :3

 

I have a wig for my Chloe which I bought months and months and months ago! She also has some clothes left over from MNF B line Woosoo that didn't end up staying... He wore girl clothes so it's not a problem! Like so many other owners I want Chloe to be fairy kei style!

And Mio will stay the Red Queen! Because she's awesome! And she's also going to ride around on my DC Alberta hybrid! So She's going to have a noble steed/centaur!

I can't decide!! I'm thinking about a tan Chloe, but I also really want a tan Mirwen boy. I only have the budget for one doll so I can't get both. I joked with my boyfriend that I will probably panic as the deadline approaches and accidentally order a tan Celine. I don't need a tan Celine, because I already have her in BW. Not, that it would be a bad thing..because tan Celine is amazing, but I want a different sculpt in tan. Does anyone else feel as conflicted?

 

Yes I wanted a tan Chloe and already have a NS Chloe. I thought maybe I should get a different sculpt (I would love a mirwen) but went with my heart and got a TS Chloe in Moe line instead, so they're slightly different.

 

angeldoll, I am getting an extra A-line body for just the purpose bring me up enough to get all the items, and use it for the event head (the only event item I plan on keeping). I just love the event head, the smallish mouth, the wide lower lids and top lid crease, and the boyishness, for some reason it just made me have to make an order now instead of waiting until another event. If anyone sees a mock up, boy or girl, please post it, I would love to see it!

Arkelle, I just love when a sculpt reaches a great potential in the hands of the right person, your girl is the soul of creativity!

Locutus, I love your old girl's eye and hair combination, it's great styling, I hope you get your girl back, and she makes you happy once more.

Chehime, I can't wait to see your Mio, I love her features and styling of course, so I fully back you keeping her that way, she isn't gonna need much else to make her perfect.

 

For those trying to make decisions for this preorder. I feel your pain. It must say from experience that having multiples of the same sculpt in different colors or just with different face ups is just as exciting as having different sculpts. Sometimes you just need more than one of your favorite mold!

Tan Celine for you!! I love this girl ^-^ she and Chloe have to be my favourite sculpts in tan! But I will resist tan event this time :P I still have dolls at home that need finishing.

All the Celine spam is making me fall in love with her! She looks so pretty especially in tan.

If I ever decide to get a MNF girl, I think I know which one I'd choose.

 

Sooo conflicted>__<. I thought I'd just get a tan blank Mio, then decided I really needed her fullset and maybe even her sleep head, and now out of nowhere I'm considering getting a tan woosoo vampire..too many cute possibilities!!

 

They actually sold A-line hybrids (and M-line hybrids) a while back. Who knows when they'll be back.
I don't know of any IRL photos of the hybrids that show the full body, but I'll be making my own hybrids once my DDE order from July 23rd shows up.
I'll upload some comparison photos then.

 

Someone sent me a photo, but yeah I knew about the hybrid sale they did since I wanted to get one for my Juri 13 (now since sold) cause I wanted an M-line with the cutie bust. :P I just, forgot about looking at their photos because it got removed. XD Kinda wish they'd keep it permanent but I can understand if it adds more complication to orders for them.

I'd still love to see photos though! It looks like it's going to be perfect.

 

Thanks for posting that link to the hybrids. That pretty much decides it for me. I'm going to wait on Mio until they allow you to order the M-line body with the cutie bust again. If ever.

 

I don't think FL is ever going to do the hybrids though, if I recall correctly they said they wouldn't since the busts are so easily swapped...

 

Yeah this has been the hardest time i've ever had making a decision dolly wise since there's so many options i would have liked. I have to have default faceup as i had a bad experience with a faceup artist earlier this year so although i could do my own, fairyland's vastly superior so since i'm not prepared to send any heads out for faceup again its quite a lot extra to have to find moneywise (plus i decided i do want the minifee head, stuff it i WILL make it a girl lol) so i narrowed it down to Mio in Littlefee or Mininee, Chloe, either option or Lishe Littlefee. In the end i've gone for Chloe Minifee AND Littlefee. Hope i don't regret the duplicate sculpt as i wouldn't normally do that but they were calling out the hardest.

Artemos I'm glad someone else likes the event head, it reminds me of the Nanuri 13 head which i really like so hopefully it will be a good choice (probably quite rare too if a lot of people aren't keen!) I got the Juri 3 Elf which a lot of people were on the fence about and i adore her so i think you sometimes have to go with your gut instinct, would be a lot easier if they didn't just show them as blank heads..

 

Well that's really stupid of them. I know other people order the two dolls and do a swap, but I never have that kind of money to spend at one time and then you have the hassle of trying to find someone to sell the other hybrid to. Blah! Grumble grumble.

 

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they stopped doing the hybrids because the hybrided busts would not fit perfectly. They certainly fit well enough, and owners of hybrids didn't really complain, but perhaps they're paranoid about delivering a good quality product, what with the issue with quality control they had some times past?​

 

Ya, it Is stupid. I can't justify it from a business perspective either, though it's more of a hassle for them, surley they would make a great deal of earnings from it. Although I wouldn't exactly take FL word for it....they've done plenty of things they said they'd never do (Not complaining though LOL )

 

Well I guess I can understand them not doing it if it doesn't fit just right. Maybe someday they will make a smaller bust for the m-line. I really love Mio so I may just have to suck it up and get the a-line body. I just like the shorter body, I don't dislike the a-line one. Thanks for the help.

TuT And they are natural for them. Its sounds a little silly to explain casually, but their character is actually a "unicorn". I've yet to make them their horn though, but yeah~ Their species have pointed ears, like most fantasy-type humanoids should have in my opinion xD. Euclid's piercing however is completely by their own doing haha~

TwT Ahh, all the talking of everyone's tan Minifee's they are getting has me suuuuper excited! I really can't wait to see a tan Mio and Mir/Mika especially! I'm definitely a little heartbroken I can't manage to get either the tan Chloe and tan Mio I have on my wishlist, but i'm still super hyped to see everyone else's lovelies

 

I don't know about that, but I do know that the cutie bust does gap at the front on the M-line hybrids. I personally wouldn't go any smaller than the small bust because of it.
But I'm more with Rinoa on the shape of the glamour bust vs the large bust.
I waited until an event so that at least while I was spending that much money on bodies I would be able to get an event head for the other body. No floating heads!

 

Congrats on making your decision! I made an impulse buy this week of a tan Ryeon head. I already have a Ryeon (who is my newest head) but I'm smitten with her and couldn't pass up the opportunity to get one in tan too - even though she'll have to body share. Of course as I had no plans for another girl I now need to think of name, wig etc!

I'm sorry that I can't quote everyone but I'm loving all the gorgeous photos. I especially love the Shushu witch!

I just ordered a tan Celine from DDE on layaway.

I feel your pain. I really wanted both a tan Celine and a tan Chloe but I already have a NS Chloe with default face-up. (She was a fullset) so I thought that I'd better get Celine.

Locutus your Celine is so beautiful. I'm so glad I went with Celine.

Dollique they look so cute. Some day I might get a tan Chloe too.

Thanks for the spam everyone! I'm still torn between who to get, but I think in my heart I'm set on Rheia. She was the one I was torn about last time between my Mirwen boy Chase and her, but obviously the boy won that time. So I think if I wanted her then, and still want her now it's a sign? Celine in tan is really really beautiful though which is what is making it harder, as there were no tan Celines to look at last year. Argh. I think I'd be very happy with either, which is probably why I'm finding it hard to decide.

At least I know I'm not the only one torn between sculpts.

 

I was thinking yesterday that Woosoo boys would look great on the Moe body.
No one has that to show off right? Maybe I'll get to see that after a few more rounds of dollies come home.

 

Thanks sahoma I'm very happy but I try not to be too excited just yet. It's going to be a long wait. It's funny that you ordered a tan Mirwin and Rheia because I got those two last time there was a tan event. So here's my Rheia. Her name is India. (She insisted that was her name and at the time I didn't even know that it was actually used as a name in English. I just thought it was a country.)




Edit to say: Rinoa India thinks you should get a Rheia. She says they are the best. LOL

To kita8 and others who were wondering:

I posted a while back, but I'll post it again now since it's relevant. Here is my Shushu on A-line with glamour bust from M-line. I bought her as a hybrid directly from Fairyland. It fits perfectly and movement is great still!

Recently I also swapped the full bust and the small bust on another A-line and M-line of mine. I can take full body comparison pictures when I get home in a couple hours, with those three and another A-line I have with the small bust on. I'm at uni right now... (in a seminar, naughty :P)

 

Woo! My FL package is FINALLY here, and I escaped with just under $40 in customs fees - hurray for FL under-declaring the package value! (I wish I only paid $200 for two MNFs!) Soony is just as cute in person as I'd hoped she would be, and I'm really wondering what she'll look like with a face-up.

The only (minor) problem is that they beat their eyes and wigs here, hah! That, and I still need to figure out their clothes and whatnot, plus decide on where I'll be sending off poor Halcyon's head for a face-up. Hrm.

Not going to be able to do much of anything until tomorrow at best, though - Halloween is chaos with two young kids in the house! It's supposed to be cold tonight, so trick-or-treating will be fun...

Ellaria is one of the ones I fell in love with when I saw her. She's beautiful and is definitely one of the reasons I'm swaying to Rheia. Is she on Model or Cutie legs? Or M-line? That's another decision I'm struggling with. I'm getting a NS girl on Model legs and I love that Model legs are sturdy and good for posing, but the Cutie legs are so... cute! XD I love the shape of them. I won't be getting her on the M-line body though because as much as I love the torso I need her to have some height.

 

Lol hopefully! He hasen't announced any dates yet but I'm hope he does so AFTER the event. I'm ordering through DDE as well! They take a while but it's worth it I ordered both of my MNFs through DDE! Also this is bad...I'm torn on getting a kyle of a mir/ka...ugggggh I just don't think mir/ka would fit th character but I love the sculpt..as I love the kyle sculpt...ohhh what do i do?! This a bad time to be waffeling!
