Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 48

Anyone ever order from Amors? They have very pretty stuff.

 

I am talking about the full bust. Even though they are sculpted to look bigger, in person to me they seem physically smaller. I've found the moe girl to just be overall daintier and smaller than the A line and the boobs arn't an exception to that for me. I don't think the company photos really do the comparison justice. I know people have hybrid-ed the busts in the past, but I can now see why fairyland wouldn't offer that anymore. To me the Aline bust piece seems wider and heavier, and just didn't sit right when I tried a hybrid for fun.

I think you guys are saying the full bust on the moe looks bigger. Where I'm talking about if it actually is bigger. I personally am not seeing that huge of a difference.

In regards to clothes I am thirding Taobao. It's my favorite place to shop for doll items, period. The prices are (usually) much lower than if you buy outside of Taobao, and going through a middleman is actually easier than trying to do it yourself.

I use taobaotrading.com and I've had 5 successful orders with them now (all over $100) and I've never once had a problem or issue.

I use Chrome so I can translate it into english, then I use a guide to search for what I want. I won't post the link for reasons, but just google "taobao search terms bjd" or I just peruse "bjd" and spends HOURS looking through everything because I'm addicted XD


When you find something you want, copy the HTML link, and paste it into the box on the order page. There will be a comment box below that you can indicate what size/color you want if it's applicable.

Once you finish adding everything to your cart the order gets processed and Helen (most likely) will send you an email letting you know if anything is out of stock and what the total cost of your order will be (including their service fee and domestic shipping within china from all the shops)

Once you pay that, they order everything for you. Once they get everything in they send you another email with pictures of everything for your OK. If it's fine, they let you know the shipping cost. You can choose registered air mail (cheap) or EMS (expensive). I usually do air mail (I've done EMS once) but airmail really doesn't take too long.

Once you pay the shipping cost they ship everything out and Voila, you've got a cute dollie clothes haul! I just recently got pictures of my latest order with lots of cute minifee things in it!

The measurements on the FL website list the Moe glamour bust to be smaller than the A-line large bust.

I think it's because they're sculpted to look like they're in a push up bra that makes the moe busts look so huge.

I took a moe body and put my A-line medium bust on her. It was a perfect fit.

Oh, and on the topic of clothes, she's wearing TTYA pants (actually bought for a boy but they look cute on her), a tank top from an outfit from ChocoxChouchou on Etsy, a sweater from MilkBunnyBoutique, shoes from Summomo which are a perfect fit. Her hat is a YoSD one from Dollzsmile on Etsy.

Had some fun posing Perry with my other dolls yesterday. This one got a big laugh out of my boyfriend so I thought I'd share.
I'm having way too much fun with this guy. He fits in so well with the rest of my crew and really brings out the best in them. Too bad I only have a cellphone to take pictures with. It really does not do him justice.

 

I stand corrected. I looked up the measurements and the C bust is .5mm larger than the D bust!!! I had no idea!

To me, when I look at them the D bust looks bigger so I just assumed it was bigger!

 

Czechmix is not talking about C compared to D though, they're talking about C compared to E, and there's absolutely no way it is smaller. Perhaps on Fairyland's site the measurements might show otherwise (although I don't remember them), but I'll tell you for sure, the Risse fullset which is made for A-line Large bust does bately fit the Moe line Full bust, and when I say barely, I mean it doesn't go over the nipples and the only reason it looks ok, is because the nipples get covered by the frill.

 

I forget why we were on the subject of boobs in the first place. I think I'm rather horrible in that I don't really care what size boobs my dolls have. ^^;;


on a totally unrelated tangent. I finished? my witch girl Spoopy's faceup. I'm debating whether I should add a tiny spider hanging down from one eye, or some eyelid details or if this is good as it is. She's come out a bit different than I pictured.

Ahh all this talk of Taobao has made me very happy. I've often wondered how people go about ordering from there because it seems to have the cutest stuff! I'm finally making some progress determining my girls' individual styles (instead of just buying/making everything *I* think is cute) so I'm looking to do a little shopping spree...

And re: boobs... I don't notice much difference between the large C bust and the glamour D bust aside from the shape, but the full E bust is definitely bigger. It's not just an illusion, a quick glance at FL's measurement table will show you it's a full cm larger than the glamour bust. None of my fitted shirts that all my others wear will fit my E bust girl XD

I've been lurking to find out if anyone knows anything about the Halloween event! I don't know about everyone else, but I can't wait until Fairyland reveals their event. I've never taken part in a company event before, but if Fairyland is truly releasing a MiniFee Luna or Mio as it appears from the ad banner, I might be taking part!!! I've had MiniFee hybrids before but never a whole MNF, so I'm excited to see what's up with this event

 

same here. Halloween is my favorite holiday so having a doll for it seems natural? I think I might go get someone more talented to redo this for me. I'm not very good at cutesy faceups. Which is what I wanted. whoops.
