Just finished my boy Atlas and figured I'd share since he has all the event parts. They look pretty cool. I believe there are only two event arms.

I can't remember exactly who, but someone asked about Minifee shoes and what fits and what doesn't. I have been on the hunt for anything Minifee, especially their shoes, because they're aggravating little things. I actually made a list of shoes (and clothing) that could fit Minifees from stores other than the usual BJD companies, in the wiki.

Among those are:
Dale Rae Flats - Super popular and well-known to be a perfect fit
Paul Zhangby on eBay - Look for the 22" American Model doll's shoes, those fit minifees!
Evangeline Ghastly (Resin version) pumps - LortiBJD confirmed it fits Minifees if you're looking for heels
Lorifina heels - Fits minifees somewhat. I got a pair of boots for my Selene and they don't exactly fit perfect, they're 'okay', but I suspect its because of the type of shoes I got. They're slanted and weird looking, with shoe laces that need to be tied.

You guys!! My NF girl is almost done! I'm in the final sealing stage :'D It is the best face up I've done so far, so proud of my improvement! Can't wait to spam her here! Her wig and lashes are already here, her body is on its way! Woot woot!!

I was lucky enough to find it for sale on the marketplace. It really is very cute. The ones you are looking at are also adorable.

Aw, thanks! All of my MNF wear only certain colors (they're based off a race in one of the stories I write). Rust is an orange artist and so tends to wear only orange clothing or mostly orange clothing. He likes 60s-70s style dresses (very Mod). And bows. He loves orange bows. He's actually one of my very few cross-dressing characters. And I love how androgynous the moe boy body allows him to be!

He's currently waiting on his Vitta-Vera undergarments in the mail and then I plan on doing some more posing photos with him. I keep all his photos in my Rust album on Flickr (here) if you're interested in seeing more of him. His eyes are almost home too so he'll stop looking like he doesn't have any in (he's actually wearing the 16mm brown eyes FL sent).

Oooooh love the look into some of his backstory. A fan of mod style and orange? I think Rust & I would get along great, lol. One of my boys is a bow fiend (and he's not even here yet). Though his style's nowhere near vintage.

Hey, crazykimochi, or anyone for that matter, where do you guys get your boys clothes?

 

Etsy is your best friend when it comes to boy clothes. I usually go to Dorset Clothing, Wicked Stitchery, Cottonhoney has some nice tops, CustomcCritterDesigns also has nice things & even takes custom orders! Also the MP here is helpful. There's also Her Delicate Strength but I haven't ordered from them personally also through experimenting boys can fit into girls clothes so I usually pick the most gender neutral of the girls clothes like what guppykisses on etsy has.

 

Hi guys, my Nanuri 13 is here! Can anyone tell me what size eyes work for her, and if you have pics that would be great. I have have had her once before and cannot remember what I used :-)

I dropped by to show my Shushu's new wig, I'm proud, because I made it myself with alpaca fibre. It's a messy process, but the wig is so soft!

Aww man, I just went through something like this! Don't give up yet Kittywolf13, I sent my Sarang head off to her faceup artist and it didn't show up after a month. I thought all hope was lost but finally last week she arrived!!! I was so happy. I hope your story will have a happy ending too. After all that I decided to change the name of my Sarang to Perdita, which means 'lost woman.'

Was she shipped from DDE or from Fairyland? Either way, someone should have signed for it, and the Post Office should have that paper on file. Hopefully she turns up soon! It's possible she may be sitting at the Post Office and they marked the tracking wrong (my PO does that ALL THE TIME and I keep complaining about it).

 

Right when I was putting the new eyes in Anna, we got kicked out of the fire drill. Couldn't help but share one of the better cellphone pictures of her.

My post office likes to scan my packages as delivered before they even get to me! Just today my package said it was delivered at 1045 and my boyfriend saw the mail man pull up at 1120!!! Same thing happened with fed ex his package was marked delivered a whole day before he got it. I hope they can get you your doll soon!

i had that happen to me in june with a really expensive order of supplies for my girls. the tracking said delivered but nothing arrived. after fighting with the post office the record of shipment suddenly disappeared from the system completely! then weeks later it arrived back at the senders with no explanation at all. she sent it again in two shipments this time and they both arrived.. six weeks apart. the crazy thing is she lives just across the border from me and it only had to travel a few hundred miles. here's hoping your girl is just taking the scenic route too.

So I was taking a photo of the different types of MNF that we have in the household and I discovered that Amidoji's MNF normal boy Yder is shorter than my MNF moe boy Rheia. Anybody else find that?

 

Huh, I haven't seen/heard of that yet. Is Yder on a Bline or Aline?

...this could completely change who gets the incoming (and any future) mlines around here.

Anjelchan: on the pictures I've seen, M-line is indeed slightly taller than A-line.

 

When I saw side-by-side pictures of M-line and A-line, I thought Fairyland made M-line girls shorter? So are girls shorter and boys taller than their A-line counterparts?

 

I've recently put on a temporary wig and eyes so that he's less incomplete. I apparently ordered him the wrong eyes and so have to re-order eyes in orange again. A longer wait. SIGH. I'd love to see your bow fiend boy when you have him home!!

So (in order) the Carl is on a MNF muscular A-line body, Amidoji's Yder is on a MNF normal A-line body, and the Rheia is on a MNF moe boy body.

It's weird because the oldest A-line boy we have (elf Shiwoo) is taller than all of them. He's muscular and the yellower resin. Next comes the Carl which is still the yellower resin and is also muscular. Then comes the moe boy (Rheia) which is - of course - brand new. And finally comes the A-line pinker NS normal boy body (Yder) as the shortest of the resin boys we have. So I think the muscular A-line is the tallest, then the moe boy, with the normal A-line being the shortest.

Well according to the measurements on FL there should be no difference between the heights of the two boy chest MNF (muscular vs normal) and the moe boy should be 0.5cm shorter than the A-line.

B-line: 42
A-line: 42
M-line: 41.5

Hmmm, I was afraid that the boy m-line would be too tall. I've already ordered one for my Lishe boy, and while he needs to be slender, he also needs to be short. So I'll probably switch the m-line legs with one of my girl's model legs (how I made his old normal a-line shorter) or I'll mod it by shortening the legs. I'm not too worried.

 

That's rough! I think if that happened to me, I'd just take a road trip across the border to go pick her up rather than ship again! XD

 

Glad your Rheia turned up! I remember when i ordered one of my dolls they managed to lose the invoice, took them ages to finally sort it out...

Omg, what an excellent choice of name I like names like that that have 'meanings' behind them. For my NF, I was literally hunting her down to snag her up and buy her, so I was thinking about naming her something like 'Prey' or whatnot, but that ones too cheesy :P I'm still thinking about it, but what names are there that fit this criteria? lol

 

So excited Mei got ANOTHER new wig lol finally in the right color. I'm going to straighten it and then I will finally be able to share her with everyone ... Finding the right wig is the worst

In regards to the M-line boy being taller than the A-line boy: I have a feeling that the neck is longer. If you look, his shoulders come up BELOW the A-line shoulders, but the head sits higher, and I think it's just that the streamlined "long lines" of the Moe-line boy body make the neck longer so his head is up higher. I could be wrong.

 

Tell me about it! I like shopping for a doll, whether it be eyes or wigs, but when you just spend so long looking for something and can't find it, it's a hectic and tiresome process. Theres always a lot of things to consider like the perfect texture, how the length would turn out and of course, the size, as well as how the colour would look like in real life other than promo photos.
