I ordered a Rheia and a body for the event head. Then I bought a Chloe head and ordered another body!

My minifee chloe had a pretty tiny head - I used mostly 6-7 wigs on her. I am not sure if Dearmine runs smaller or larger in their wigs, but Chloe has a pretty tiny head in my experience so you might need a wig cap or some velcro to hold it on if it's larger!

You could also ask Dearmine if they'd sell the wig in 6-7 too! Some companies are pretty cool about that!

I started with one floating head (Nanuri 2013). Bought two bodies (one for the event head) and might end up with a Celine head from that order. I ordered an m-line boy Rheia and a PKF with the new event and will get a MNF gift head with it too! That leaves me with two possible floating heads when I originally ordered to have no floating heads!! But I do want the Nanuri 2014 too. I collect the Nanuri sculpts and my fiancé collects the Juri sculpts.

But the second order was placed so that it would be here around Christmas. The PKF PongPong is for my fiancé for Christmas!

I get you! I am also now waiting on a Rheia with body... but the body isn't for the event head I'm getting. I so need another body or two! And that doesn't even include the floating heads that my fiancé has! Who can keep up with this hobby?

 

I just got a body for my Celine head and I'm kinda disappointed with the torso mobility.

Has anyone here sanded off that part on the hip piece that keeps the torso/belly piece from moving? I'm sad that there's a joint at the hips but it doesn't move at all. All my other dolls have very mobile hip joints.

 

I saw a modding thread years ago (ca. 2008?) where someone did this to their B-Line. They took almost an inch off the top of that post thing (taking it all off makes them too unstable when standing) and it increased the mobility a lot. I cannot find the thread for the life of me, but it did work.

 

Ohhh, being unstable would make sense, but at this point, why is the joint even there? It doesn't do anything. I might have to explore my options because this will not do...

I've looked around the forums a bit and did come across a thread where a minifee boy's torso was modded so he could move but there wasn't a lot of info about it and wanted to try here first. I'm excited to have my beautiful shapely minifee girl but I'd like her to hold some good realistic poses that doesn't have her just straight-backed the entire time.

 

I'm pretty sure it was a Shushu girl (I think there's actually been 2 in the past), but I haven't been able to find either thread since 2011 or so.

Do you have a B-line or an A-line body?? If you've got a B-line, then you're right, there's really not a ton you can do with that joint (it's really more for side to side movement then back to front, but I know from experience that the A-line is much better about that. That upper torso joint really helps with the realistic posing, not to mention the double joints.

AGH with all the stress of finals, graduation, and moving, my lovely girls are packed away. I can't take them out until I settle down or find another place to live after moving back home with the parents T_T

I cheated and just pinned fabric on her to make it look like she's wearing clothes. I just bought another Sarang head and grabbed a Jointed Love slot and am debating whether to have another snow queen elsa and only keep one, or make coronation Anna or Elsa! Decisions decisions.

 

Can someone with a Sarang measure her head circumference for me?

I second this, my Ryeon has always been 6-7 Monique wigs. She's wearing a short one right now that's not a Gold label so it isn't as soft, but I still have her first wig, a Gold Label Roxie in bleach blonde. Fit like a charm!

The Sarang head is alomost bang on 7 in. mine wears the 6 - 6.5 from leeke world, they are a good tight fit even with a wig cap.

I redid Candy's(Sarang) faceup yesterday, the old got very cracked. This is a much cleaner version with a more anime look. Still have to gloss the lips and eyes - lost my pot of gloss, waiting for a new one.

FairyLand offered to sent a replacement arm peace or to sent the doll back so they can reassemble it. I chose a replacement arm peace because I really don't want to sent the doll back and be worried the whole time. I think it was really nice of them to offer this.

I have a really pressing question, I need to get a carry-on bag for my Chloe so I can take her to Maldives with me when I go in a month or so. I am hoping to get some amazing photography opportunities on my trip--and lots of free time on my hands But I have no idea what kind of bag I should get, and it needs to be here on August. So my question is, do you lovely MNF connoisseurs use such bags and if you do, would you have any recommendations. I see all of you are amazing photographers, so I am guessing you might take your MNFs around like I hope to! Thanks

I use a flute case with a puffy doll blanket inside. The case I have is already padded, so no issues there, and my MNF can lie down comfortably in it. I can technically fit 2 in it, but don't like doing that.
