Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 45

More Rheia spam pls!!!! Feeling sick today and this will cheer me up I think!

 

I assumed my doll had a tiny stain on her arm. But Fairy Land says it's a spot where the resin is thin. I had never heard of this so I didn't consider it.
Fairy Land advised to use some blu tack to see if it goes away then they can be sure what it is.

I'm afraid to take the arm of because it's so tight I'm worried I won't be able to attach it again.

Is there away to tell if it's thin resin or a stain with out taking the arm of?
Does anyone has a picture of thin resin on their doll please.

Also wanted to say how gorgeous everyone's dolls are! Even though I lurk these days I enjoy seeing your lovely dolls when I check time to time~ ^_^

 

Try using magic eraser gently on it. If it doesn't go away it's a thin spot.

You could also try putting a light behind or in the arm itself, if it lights up more than the rest it's probably a thin spot.

 

Dakashy Thank you so much. I held a light against the other site of the arm and it lit up more. It's a thin spot. I think I will leave it as it is.

 

You could try putting a bit of milliput on the inside right behind the thin spot to reinforce the resin if you are worried about it.

 

I think I will try that some day when I'm more used to the dolls. Rite now I'm to scarred to take the arm of. Her outfit covers it so you can't see it. I would have never thought of milliput thank you I will buy some.

Gah, so many adorable dolls! It's really amazing the way a faceup can change a face! Hard to believe they're the same sculpt sometimes - the photo of two Rheias side by side was really cool (can't remember who posted it, sorry)

I've been hanging out with Dylan, my Seorin, today. He's playing jewellery model, cause I don't have very many photos of my bracelets actually ON my dolls.

Loving all the Rheia spam such beautiful dolls, Aquadoe, & xxSugarxPopzxx I really like both of their styles!

 

I have a sarang! =D this is Eden =) She has a temporary face up, hopefully going to be done professionally in July but I don't get on with blank dolls so she has to suffer my novice attempts haha!

I need some shoe advice please.
I have a Risse coming in the next couple of months, thanks to a DDE layaway, and I *really* don't like the fullset steampunk shoes. Has anyone tried Leeke World shoes on MNF's, or can you give me other recommendations for high-heeled shoes that would fit? I would love to have her new shoes waiting for her when she arrives :-)

Your best bet would be to get a pair of the high heeled feet and the Fairyland shoes that go with them - you won't find a better fit (DDE sells them too) but I know Tina has an an awesome pair of Tonner 22" shoes for her gals. Not a good picture at all but I wanted to share... I got my Chloe in with Vicemage's lot and finished her face up (it's not perfect but it'll do for now) so yay!

Thanks for pointing out the shoes and the high heel feet on Denver Doll! I ordered a pair but if they're not in stock, I'll just add them on with my body's order. Thankfully it's early enough it wouldn't matter too much.

Thanks for the advice and pix on shoes. I never would have thought of Tonner shoes :-)

 

They really do have a nice height difference. Character-wise, they've got a substantial difference between them, too, so when I went looking, I went after mini boys that were a bit shorter (MNF) and taller (WD) than the average, and it worked perfectly!

Once I get Ed all faceupped/painted, I'll definitely be taking photos of the two of them, which can be good comparisons, but if there's anything you want to see before I reach that point (it'll be a while due to Ed's mods), just let me know and I'll snap them for you.

 

So my chloe is back from getting a face up! I'm in love with her now, she's so perfect! You can't really tell in the picture but she has lots of freckles on her face and hands as well as her feet.

She's still nameless, I'm kinda leaning towards naming her Tillian or Blake, but I'm not sure. I like names that work for both girls and boys. If any of you have any suggests, let me know! I've been calling her chloe for 6 months, its about time she gets a real name. :P

Out of curiosity....by the end of Amy/Vance's story, how many children do they have all together? Or are you still working on all the finer details?

At the end of my story, Vance and Amy have NO children, which is why I say Mya is their future baby (also, shifters are only fertile every 20 years so there's no way they could have a 3 year old and a 3 month old at the same time...)

Yes she did!! I bought the wig about a month before knowing I was going to use it on my own Miyu then she sold her's so I picked her up! She is the perfect second doll for me. Zoey is very happy here with her sister Raine!! After waiting four months for Raine to arrive straight from the company, it was nice for Zoey to arrives in just a week!!

I have't posted her much but I have been on a mission collecting heads, lol. I'll be broke forever trying to get enough bodies for everyone. I can't wait til I get my gang complete.

 

I know how you feel. I just purchased two new bodies and now I think I might be getting a Celine sculpt and then the latest event head. I already ordered a body with the Sarong head I'm getting. DX Every time I think I've caught up on bodies, I've managed to gain more heads!!

 

At least I'm not the only one...lol. I ordered 2 bodies with the last event too and get the event head. Plus, I already had 2 floating heads and have since ordered 2 more. But I can't complain because I was able to get a Nanuri 14 after regretting selling my first one.

With FL current delays we'll probably get our bodies for Christmas
