Celine spam for the new thread!

 

I have purchased a pair of shoes from LeekeWorld for my incoming MNF A-line body. Now I am wondering if they will be too small? I have read that the MNF A-line feet are 5.5cm, but the shoes are high heeled and they are 5.4cm according to LeekeWorld. I WILL make them work, but I am wondering if I will have to mod the feet or if they will fit anyway?

Thanks deary! I was the exact same way as you! In promo pics she looked so bucktoothed and I only liked fangs on dollies. Seeing her in person will definitely win your heart over.

She is PERFECT and I love this slight eye mod. Out of all the Juri 08s I've had, she's the first that I've been able to bond to. Celestia is finally back and successfully shelled into a doll!

 

PuffyPuffers your Juri 08 is beautiful! I love her mold. *Happy Dance* I just received my shipping notice from Fairyland!!! Chloe and Rin are my first Fairyland dolls, so I hope we bond well. It's been 5 months since I had a bjd in the household. So excited!

I finally gave Moira some quality DSLR-Camera time. (Mirwen, on Modded M->F A-line muscle body) Her wig still needs some smoothing product!

As long as the 6/7 sized wigs have a stretchy wig cap, stick with those! My Ryeon wears a 7/8 from Leeke with a wig cap and sometimes it just feels too big. The 6/7 Leeke wig fit her much better.

i think it works, it at least looks breezy, i like the effect.

if you want it to blow more, you could do what they do for real model shoots and put a fan just off to the side and aim it at her to blow in what ever direction you want.

My Rin arrived yesterday. She's my first FL doll and I'm soo happy after months of being afraid I would not like the size or skin color.
FL did such a great job. I love her face up it's a lovely soft pink/lilac color not as dark pink as in the picture.

I got my Mako eyes today!

When the doorbell rang I had no idea it was this package, thought they were my boyfriends clothes. The mailwoman was curious about the content as she saw 'eyes (doll)' on the package. It was her last shift so I invited her in to see the content. She was quite amazed by how pretty they look and I told her some stuff about my dolls. Always good to tell people about dollies!
The package took quite long as they had to ship it twice. The first time they had mislabelled my adress so it went back to Korea after arriving in customs here But thankfully they shipped it again without an extra fee and it arrived very quickly, within a week.

I got two pair, greenish blue and blue, both in 14mm. One pair will be for my incomming littlefee. I'm having a hard time deciding which to use for Senra. I'm leaning towards the greenish blue but the blue ones go better with her current face-up. Then again I like how the greenish blue stand out better with the blue eyeshadow...

It's so difficult! Opinions are welcome!

Ahh, I love Mako eyes! I have to say, I really like the one on the left! I think that color looks best to me with her face up and it stands out so nicely.

Both colors are lovely Hananya, but I think the left one - the greenish blue? is my favorite. The color combined with the dark line around the outside of the iris gives it that little extra something that makes your girl come alive.

 

Thanks! No i got the premium Oscar eyes with her but i think i'll use them in one of my Littlefee's, these are Mako eyes, really pretty!

Wow, the full bust can be quite... busty... hahaha. I would know. That's my Athena wears a baggy a sweater. They do look wonderful but, I don't think I was going for that style.

thanks and yes it is quite large but Sophie is my circus performer so lots of corsets and costumes and i think its fun that at least one of my dolls is over the cutie/small bust size :P

 

Your girls are all so cute! And I'm also a fan of the full bust. Can't wait to see her in her corsets and costumes.

On another note, I've finally started bonding with my MNF girly. She's a modded Shu Shu and I just adore her. Now to make her clothes that are actually mori which is what she wants to wear. XD

My Mako's should ship on the 11th apparently. I look forward to seeing them in person, even though I don't have my dolls to put them in yet...

I agree that the left one looks best on her. It may not match the main eyeshadow, but it brings out the color just above the creases in her eyelids, which I think is better.

auntbear, This was most successful picture from the whole shoot so I think that this was a little breezy too x'D I actually had a fan to blow some air but this specific wig didn't seem to care about it x'D

Beka-Lyse, Yeah, that bust might be some sort of barrier between : / Have you thought frilly collars or undershirts made out of lace, mixed with corsets or some babydoll dresses? : O Basic Tops/Tank tops + some cute skirt? Or high-waist pants with a shirt that had lace/frilly collar? High collar maybe? Something that doesn't overly show her cleavage but doesn't completely hide it either? : )

For the ones who received new Minifee recently: do they still come with glass eyes? Or have they changed to acrylics?

 

Hello! I just wanted to drop by and introduce my first minifee, a sarang that I was very lucky to purchase from a friend =) I've played with MNF before so I am vaguely familiar with the body but I'm really starting to get used to it today, I snapped this picture today and I'm just amazed at how easy it was to get her into this pose, never mind the fact that she held it in the wind!

They come with acrylics now. They're decent - Glib if I had to guess, since the ones I got with my Rheia are identical to the ones I bought for my Shushu - but the ones I got were way too big.

The pieces I need to fully assemble my first two full MNFs are finally in town, and I'll be able to open everything up Saturday! To help me wait for them, can I request some Shiwoo or Nanuri spam? Those are the two that'll be here with me by the weekend!

I restrung her entire torso. She now bends over. I put the ball back in her neck and I have no more floppy head. I NEVER want to do that again... oh my god. Her ankles need sueding though. Thanks for the great advice!

 

Add me to the group who likes the eye on (our) left better. I think it stands out more, the other one may match the faceup better but I think it ends up looking a bit lost.

It's basically FLs response to Dollfie dream heads. It's an anime style head and you can remove the eyes to paint them.

 

Your Sarang looks so sweet PositivelyThrifty! And that pose is awesome. My boy can't pull that off for the life of love or resin, though he can give decent piggy-back rides to the resident PKF, lol.

 

Thanks to everyone's nice comments. I've come to realize that I can't bond with the Fairlyland heads unless they are modded with smaller eyes. ^_^" Now to start planning some outfits for her.

 

DarkPanther, yeah I noticed it a while back. They had mentioned last year that they would have ani heads coming out in the future. I wasn't too shocked when I noticed it, but I don't remember them ever announcing it.

As for me, my MNF Seorin just changed characters. He was originally supposed to be a rocker I think, but now he's kinda telling me he'd rather be a model.

Do Fairyland wigs stain your doll? It's a natural light beige color.

Can you only use mr clean magic eraser to clean stains on you bid?
I can only find Doktor Power magic eraser in the Netherlands.

 

Any wig CAN stain your doll, but I have tonnes of wigs in a lot of colours from all kinds of companies and have never once had any stain despite the fact i pretty much never take them off. You should be pretty safe with a light beige wig.

If it's a white melamine sponge the brand doesn't really matter. I use the generic ones in Canada because they're half the price of Mr. Clean. The Doktor Power ones looks just fine. I would suggest avoiding ones with 'extra scrubbing power' or whatever just to be safe though.

 

I've sold my Woosoo VEG head, and I would like to buy a Mirwen head instead ( Mirwen in one of my favorite Minifee ). But I can't find one on the marketplace at the moment...
So can I ask some Mirwen spam ( girl or boy ) to help me to be patient ?

 

Tayma-Leigh Thank you. I also leave my wigs on. I usually use a wig cap but I forgot to buy some and I just got her wig on perfect the way I want it and don't want to remove it. I will order doctor power magic eraser hopefully it will work.
