Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 44

all your pictures are beautiful and i really want my first girl. do any of you know what eye size a MNF shushu is? i have read 12-14mm but her eyes look bigger compared to the other sculpts.

 

My Shushu wears 13mm Eyeco eyes and could probably go down to 11mms

Oh great. Nice to know they have a holiday since May 1st and they post their notice at 3rd. Oh wells... At least I guess I'm going to have my payday before my order will be shipped out so I'm going to have the custom fee ready and waiting for it. *sigh* My order has been "before shipping" since Monday.

So. After comparing measurements between luts boys and MNF boys... I took the plunge. I found a luts Satyros on the mp, and I plan to hybridize him with a MiniFee...

I figure that, since the tiny centaurs work well with PukiFee, the MiniFee will do as well with the kid delf centaur and satyr bodies...fingers crossed!

...just need to figure out who to try this with. I'm thinking my Siean boy...

Oh please post photos when you get him together! I posted a photo request thread with that hybrid but haven't gotten any responses. I'm very curious how they'll look together.

 

Found some owner pics of Rin and oh gosh she's adorable. Looking forward to mine even more now. But with tan skin and a faceup for both her default and sleeping head I doubt she'll be shipping any time soon, unfortunately. I'll just have to live vicariously through other Rin owner's photos until then haha~

can't wait to see centaur hybrid photos. i would have loved to get a centaur , but alas didn't have the room for the msd sized one.

 

I will be more than happy to share photos when I get the chance. First he has to make his way here from overseas. Then I have to wrangle the time to play...

...but I am ridiculously excited by the idea of having a centaur boy. I sincerely hope it works out the way I want it to!

 

I saw a Rin on flickr this morning! She's so sweet! Anyone else expecting a Rin sometime soon? I'd love to see more pictures of her. A Moe line Rin is definitely on my wishlist

I need to ask again about minifee sneakers... Mara needs some and the only ones I can find are releaserain and while they look *alright* they aren't quite what I was hoping for. Anyone know of cute in scale sneakers that fit minifee?

My very first Minifee arrived in the mail today. This is Maeve in a temporary wig and a borrowed dress that is slightly too large in the bust due to the fact that it belongs to a lady with a slightly bigger chest! Maeve is a "Wilder" and lives here in In-Betwix. She works for the Guard in a mercenary arrangement and helps patrol the wild areas of the mountains. Clearly I have a ways to go in developing the "look" of her character

If you're looking for a "converse" style sneaker that isn't overly expensive you can look up "Debs2Adorables" on Ebay. The size you'll want are the ones for Kish Lark, Piper, Wren. All of those shoes fit the A & B line mnf bodies.

Answering the call for Rin spam! My gorgeous girl arrived this morning and has fast become one of my favourites. Photos do not do her justice! Her eyes and faceup are so sparkly! The bells jingle! My only gripe is her top is so tight the top button won't do up.

I want to name her Elsa, just because I like the name and I think it suits her, not because of Frozen.

Was at the KBJD Show and got a pair of Oscar Doll eyes for my Karsh. Bad photo, but there are little swarovski crystals and bits of unusually shaped glitter set in urethane resin... they are a lot more sparkly and colorful than in my photo.

Ahh your Rin looks so good! Every Rin I see just gets me more and more excited for my own girl haha. Mine is still one Item processing unfortunately (but not surprisingly).

Someone in the waiting room was on "before shipping" at the end of last week for their Tika in tan.

Thank you! No I don't though they are as we suspected, you take the magnetic foot off and the hoof just magnets on to the existing leg.

 

I am stressing out about this huge meetup we're having here in Denver in a week and a half, which I am planning all by myself. It's a logistical nightmare, and because of school and two jobs (and me not realizing that my finals were later this semester), the meet is literally the day after finals are over next week and I am just now getting everything squared away!

Can I have some feel-good spam? Especially Mirwen, Rin, Nanuri '14, Sarang... but any of them will do. I need a hug, lol!

 

Thanks for that first link, i'd seen the others already, it's so hard to find things when people don't bother to tag. It looks like the ends of the bow are a bird's head and talon?, which is interesting, doesn't help make up my mind on hunting a set down but still interesting.

I agree I want to see dolls using these things. Maybe I'm just weird for being as interested in BJDs as much for tiny props as the dolls themselves, but it's a little sad to know such props are out there and yet hardly ever seeing them. I can't remember the last time I saw a picture of the cat sword and fairy shield, or at least a new picture.

 

This might be a stupid question but I was wondering what the differences between the Moe line body and the Active line body were? I would really appreciate it!

 

Some of the measurements are different, and the M-line body only has the joint at the bust, whereas the A-line body has a joint at bust and hips. Also, M-line feet are different size and magnetic, whereas A-line feet are hook feet and normal MNF size. You can find the measurements for the differences on the FL website on their measurements table.

Also, M-line only come with two bust sizes: D (Glamour bust) and E (Full bust). A-line comes with three smaller sizes A (Cutie bust), B (Small bust) and C (Large bust). Each bust will fit on EITHER kind of doll, but FL does not offer "hybrids" for normal purchase; they WERE available during one of the last events. Hope that helps.
