@ Dafne84 : Sasha is so pretty with that outfit! Very stylish I'm a huge fan of casual/edgy clothing on dolls!

On another note I have decided instead of checking the status of my MNF (Celine) everyday, I am boycotting FL by not visiting their website for a long period of time. Months on end. Except only for the measurement table xD And if I stumble upon my package suddenly during that time.... let's just say my life would be made jdksakdmfkdfnm

So why you ask? My little hopeful self cannot take so much hope everyday for the status to change from "Item processing" to "Before Shipping", so I will not put myself through that and just really play the waiting game by the rules.

Starting tomorrow.

Chamillia - well I totally feel you, I stopped stalking FL site, after first week of my order, when I saw on DOA waiting room, how big delay they have. I only look at waiting room once a week or two...I am still before 50 day, but getting closer and I feel like it will take longer.

Oh man the animal hats everyone has are super adorable, I need to look into making/getting one for my girls~ (Esp for my Rin, a little sheep for her would be super cute.)

I lucked out today at work, we had a bunch of Liquitex acrylic soft body paints on sale. Normally $17 - $8 and I ended up getting them for $4 each. (The joys of working at a craft store haha.) Looks like I'll be giving my Sarang a faceup sooner than I thought! Hopefully I'll be able to start this weekend. (The drawback of working all week and part of the weekend.)

Quick question; where is a good place to get nice MNF-sized lashes? I've seen lashes online on places like ebay but they're usually the rather plain, uniform looking ones that come in long strips. Are they nicer in person or is there some site/location I'm not aware of for nicer lashes?

 

Oh, I saw one like it on Etsy yesterday! I dunno if it's the same one, but they sure are cute.

Congratulations!! I can certainly provide some tan Celine spam. My sewing machine packed in today (I would not recommend the JL Mini) so I headed down to the local sewing shop and bought a shiny new amazing one!!! Then I went on a bit of a clothes making frenzy which will most likely continue tomorrow, so here's Eva modelling a dress I whipped up this evening ^-^ (more photos to arrive on flickr soon!)

Also, I finally want to contribute to the Nanuri2014 spam. I've loved this mold since it was first shown and I'm always super happy to see any interpretation. For me, it was a boy when I first saw it but man, the girls you guys made them into are beautiful!

In case somebody is interested in the character: He is a researcher under ROM, the Theian equivalent to NASA. Although he usually looks a bit grumpy, it is mostly because he is concentrating very hard or reflecting on ideas and problems. On Theia, it&#8217;s common to decorate one's ears and because Unna loves, loves space, he chose to have his decorated to reflect the night sky.
(I asked propertyoftheuchiha to paint his ears in a gradient of blue, purples, and turquoise from intense to faded out on his eartips and to add stars and she did a wonderful job)

I recently got a Minifee Siean, and I'm absolutely thrilled. I decided I wanted one at some point, right after the event pretty much. And then I realized that because I wanted it in white skin, it would be pretty impossible to find.
I had given up but luckily someone contacted me about one and now I have one, yay.
She's on a shared body here. I ordered her a Doll Chateau Kid11 body, but seeing as I am swimming in white skin Minifees, she can steal bodies from time to time.

Thank you and yes! I have been thinking about him a lot recently - I want to sew him a spacesuit but not as bulky as the current launch suits that NASA has, something sleeker and if I can manage, I would like to also craft him a soyuz-style emergency capsule for photoshoots.
The original plan for his hair is a gradient from blue to white from alpaca (all these wonderful selfmade wigs in the recent threads make me want to try my own). If that doesn't work out or if it doesn't look good with his ears, I might switch to white.

Thank you very much! Somehow, for his story I'm researching tons - lots of space/astronaut-related stuff of course but also linguistics/language evolution and even color-perception in different cultures >_<

Yes, POTU did such a wonderful job ;_; I wanted them to be shorter than normal/a bit stubby and gave her a very bad mockup but she surpassed my wildest hopes by shaping them exactly like I imagined and making them look so realistic and pretty.
