Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 44

The FL days are counted in workdays, so they do not count the weekend when they say 40-60 days.

My most recent order is from 18 january and is not expected to ship soon.

I finally get to share her with you guys!
I'm debating those eyes or green ones. We'll see when she gets her proper wig in. 8D

 

That's 40-60 WORKING days, which is excellent, even though they are backed up they are WAY faster than a lot of doll companies

 

Right now current wait times are guesstimated 60 days but FL did say to possibly expect 30 days more on top... so maybe even 90 days for new orders

It's 40-60 working days, in my understanding, which works out to 3 months (sometimes 4, if there are a lot of holidays)

 

The are rather behind on their orders: "We also would like to apologize for heavy delays with shipping currently. Due to unexpected demand for recently released dolls (Steampunk LittleFee, FeePle and MiniFee Tika & Rin ), we have received overwhelming number of orders, affecting the usual processing time as a result, within just one week of their releases. There were also some problems due to certain Full Package outfit production and had to be remade. We are aware that some orders are well outside the stated processing time and apologize once again for the inconveniences. We are doing our best to resolve the processing delay."

They only have about 20-30 people working in their factory and unfortunately due to holidays it just takes longer for them to process their items.><

 

Keep in mind that any orders through DDE will take about an extra month, so that may be what you're seeing. If you want layaway, that's the price you pay, unfortunately.

When they announced the most recent event they said to expect up to an additional 30 business days to be added to processing times, so an extra month and a half or so. Kinda sucks, seems like they should catch up before starting another event but what can you do?

 

The wait does look pretty intimidating, but I just went ahead an ordered.
Yea the Winter event has left them pretty backed up, but the sooner you order the sooner you get your doll.

It's funny, if you go back to the first Fairyland Waiting Room thread people got upset over shorter waits than what we endure now. Now people are happy if they get their doll in 4 months.
I guess that's the price of popularity and quality.

 

Czechmix: Nadine is beautiful! It's so nice to see another Rheia in here other than my own (It's been a while since I've seen one!)

Dakashy: Eleniel is so pretty! I've really been interested in the DES sculpt recently and that wig is on her is perfect! ^ ^

Yeah, FL is taking awhile to get dolls out atm but depending on what you order it may not take too long. ie; my order of three dolls + two sleeping heads + misc resin items and event items took less than four months (about 70 working days, from paid for to dolls in my hands, not counting holidays as I'm sure there were some from jan - april but idk what they are/what days they'd be), but none of them came with faceups or fullsets. Where as others waiting for fewer dolls with faceups and/or fullsets seem to still be waiting, even if we ordered around the same time. So, yes, FL is backed up and things are taking longer but for anyone on the fence I'd say order anyway as there's a chance it wont take terribly long and either way the sooner you order the sooner you get your doll.

Speaking of which, I still need to get around to doing faceups/sending mine off but here's a shot of my Sarang girl~ Excuse the nudity, the mnf clothing I've bought hasn't gotten here yet so I'm a bit short on things for them to wear haha.

Hey! Quicky question.

Has anyone tried the shoes from Alice Collections on Minifee? According to their site they should fit on the small minifee feet, as they are listed as 55cm.

While on topic, any suggestions for nice and well fitting shoes for Minifee? I know that some from Leekeworld fit and I have ordered some from Etsy that I know fit

 

I've never bought from them but two shoes (SH338 and SH345) I've seen and ordered elsewhere in 1/4 size for my mnf girls, so if they fit I can report back. Fingers crossed they do!

I have some new spam of my newest girl MNF, and I think that at this point I don't care as much about the long wait for my Rin full set.
Her name (I think) is Arianna, but it started as Jasmine. Any other suggestions are welcome. I always like to know what other people think.

Omg she's beautiful! Tan Shushu is amazing, also really loving her face up, both your Shushus are perfect.

I got my mnf Rix girl on Friday, she was so worth the wait. Everyone meet Judd ^^ I can't wait to send her off for a face up

 

Hanaya - I got these from alice collections and they are really big and out of scale... But I don't know about any of the others..

Speaking of Alice's Collections: their clothes can be a little hit and miss... I don't mind baggy fit so I'm enjoying the things I got from there (minus the shoes and one pair of shorts that are just too big and bulky). Here's a photo of Bronwyn and my new girl Mara! (hopefully off to get painted in May) Bronwyn's skirt and cardigan are Alice's collections. The skirt fits great and the cardi is a bit big, but I like it baggy. The cardi came with another skirt and some leggings (which also fit fine) and a cute shirt that is too big, I will have to alter it.

alayaya - Your girls and their clothes are so super cute! Your Shushu's face is so sweet.

 

Also the waiting room is great and all, but plenty of people forget to go in there after the fact and update their info in a timely fashion. So there may be more delivered dolls than it actually says there are.

Either way in my opinion if you really want a doll the wait is the least of concerns. You can also just wait to oder in between events when things are quieter.

Yoysub@ I think your Sarang looks amazing with that red hair!! (I can imagine she will look great in any hair colour though too) and it's so lovely to see a sarang with a faceup, she looks so cute!

I'm even more excited for my sarang now with all this awesome spam. Although she was an event head she is quickly becoming the focus of my incoming order! I'm now on the hunt for a body for her, though I hadn't planned to get her one for a while.

SmoteyMote - Your Juri looks like such a sweetheart! Eludys did a good job on the eye mod, I haven't decided what look I want for her but the eyes are sure to make it unique.
Hiddlelocked - Wow, that wig is gorgeous! I love Astoria's wig too. At some point I'm going to have to try to ombre dye the alpaca I have here.
Yotsub@ - I love your Sarang I'm still waiting on the body for mine T_T
FrankieCat - I prefer the Moe over the A-Line but it really depends on what look you're going for. A-Line's are really leggy, and (to me) give off more of a model vibe. M-Line's are more compact and cute. Either way they're both amazing

Help I was wondering if Fairyland White skin would match Soom 2011 Cream white *girl body and how would it look like with the Soom head on the Minifee Body?

It was my birthday two weeks ago and my presents from my friends are starting to arrive because they all bought stuff for my incoming Chloe! She's my first bjd and i didnt realise how adorable the clothing was, i cant get over how cute the shoes are like omg XD
I got two pairs of shoes, a hat, a mini alpacasso, and a 6-7 wig which i'm praying will fit >-<;
Still waiting for a couple things to be shipped in, and i was wondering:
When you guys buy a new minifee do you by things for your new dolly before or after they arrive? And your favourite shops you go to for cute minifee stuff c:

 

I always buy stuff for dolls that are incomming. I'm waiting for a littlefee (off-topic, sorry) and already have clothing and shoes for her.

My favorite shops are Alice Collections, Dollheart and Dollmore. I also shop at etsy -alot-, it's almost a disease.. Too much amazing stuff exsists!

 

Gah, I am so behind with this thread...already page 11 and I NOW finally has some contribution........forgive me not commenting on each photo, but there's so many and I have a pile of laundry to iron...>_>

Anyway here's miss Scarlett.......

 

The colour would probably match, it's the only SOOM/Fairyland resins that do match. But the SOOMs Little Gems are larger all over than the MNF - they have larger bodies, larger heads and a different style. I'm not sure that the head would look all that good on a MNF body - it would probably look a bit too large.

 

Paid payment number 2 of 4 on my order. Can't wait for Michelle to get here, but still gotta decide on Ken!

 

I couldn't find it anywhere.. But what size eyes are the Sarang owners using? I have one incoming as well and would like to know so I can order the proper eyes. Thank you in advance!

 

I have 14mm eyes in my Sarang!

Gorgeous! I love her face up and I've got to ask, where did you get that great wig?

 

My sarang too is using 14mm eyes I try with 12mm but in my opinion don't look well. But maybe depend eyes brand.

I wonder how long does it take for them to ship the order out after the status has switched to "Before Shipping"? Mine just went to "before shipping" yesterday so I'm super exited! The usually match but a heads up the Soom WS yellows hardcore and FAST when they get older. At least the hooves from the Winnie Dee AI set did.

I've noticed the opposite! My WS Rosette (12) is still super white, but my Lishe (13) and Shushu (12 head) are definitely creamier than the body and my Nanuri 14 head I got towards the end of 2013. How strange!

Eta- my 2011 MD Migma is fairly creamy, and creamier than my MNFs, but she's also older... so hmm...

 

I haven't posted here in ages! But I think now that my outside life has settled down a lot more I might just find some time for my dolls! Anyway here is an old but still on of my favourite pictures of Sage, my chloe~

 

I think the Winnie Ai were made from an odd batch; mine has parts that have yellowed differently than the rest of him that look exactly like the thigh parts of your's. I've seen some other people's Ai's like this too and from what I've read it sounds to be more on the abnormal side.

I'm crossing my fingers that that's the case as I'd like to do some WS Fairyland/Soom hybrids in the future. ^^';
