You should talk to somebody at DDE, i think they sometimes let customers do a 5 month layaway.

 

Does the event head have a name? Or am I missing something?

 

Quick question for anyone with a ruth! Do you use a leeke wig do you use size 6.5 or 7-8? I have mine in a 6.5 but it is quite small on her huge head. I have had 7-8 in the past be too big on minifee, so before I upgrade I wanted to make sure it will fit, I think the head is bigger than some of the other minifies anyway. :3

I use 7-8 leekeworld bc I'd rather it be a little big over too small, however, if you get a white regular size balloon and cut off the bottom it makes a super cheap wig cap to help the wig from sliding. Hope this helps your decision

We're not sure if the event head has a name. We might have to wait and see what they carved into the inside of the head for a name! We've been speculating that it could be a Juri (because that would have been the next event - Nanuri, Sarang, and then Juri again), but we actually don't know anything!

I love her freckles and her style! She's beautiful!!!

 

I guess the event head's name is Sarang? ^^
Can not wait to receive mine in maybe 3-4 monts ^.^
I would also love to see the head with a face-up but i think no one received her/his head right now

 

No it's not called Sarang, they just copied and pasted the information from the last event (which was Sarang) but haven't changed the name. The event has just been released so I don't think anyone will get one anytime soon.

 

I can let you know when my Ruth gets home sometime in the next two-three months. I have a couple 7-8 wigs from monique.
But it does depend on the head and company, my DES has a bigger head than my karsh or shushu so my one huge volks MSD wig eats everyone's head but hers, though the bangs really are too long even for her. SHe is an older sculpt so his head might be a tad bigger than more recent minifees.

Just to prove the fibromyalgia really does turn your brain to mush- It dawned on me late last might that I hadn't seen any Minifee posts lately. This morning I went through my subscriptions folder and found that the last MNF thread I was subscribed to closed in February! I have missed three or four whole threads!!! I'll go back through those and look at all of the lovely dollies some other time but I have enjoyed all of the spam here.

Does anyone know when Fairyland will start shipping Rin and Tikka?

 

Well I saw in the waiting room earlier that someone's Rin is on 'before shipping', so hopefully soon! I didn't order either of them but I'm really excited to see owner pics

 

I ordered my Mio fullset one month before my Rin fullset and I am still waiting. Both were órdered through DDE though. I am hoping to see Mio shipping soon but I am sure I will have to wait a while for Rin.

 

Oh thank you. I'm so excited. I would love to see owners pictures too. And hope they will al ship soon.

 

I just made my first layaway payment for my Minifee Mika and the m-line body that I bought to go along with the event head. Really happy that I was able to work this out!

 

I took some more photos of my still unnamed Juri '11 gal. Her (and Charlie's) body is heading to the UK so there probably won't be any photos of them for a bit.

Anyone see the minifee anime head? Is that new? I love the new moe boys (goodbye wallet)

I got a sleeping soo head for my birthday. I want to mod the eyes open. Anyone have any modded sleeping soo's so I can brainstorm how to open it's eyes.

I'm not too up to date on events and stuff as far as Fairyland goes because I only just rejoined the hobby last September, but...is the tan mnf event thing yearly? Should we expect there to be another one this summer? I'd really love to order a tan Chloe at some point!

 

They've only done it once but it was crazy successful so I have to imagine they'll do another one. When it will happen and what size range they'll do is completely unknown.

Actually, I really like the A-line Hybrid with the Moe Line chest, and the rest Active Line.
I prefer the A-line's taller, narrower body, but the Moe Line chest looks more like a girl wearing a bra, which would, I think, look better in a corset.
Too bad neither of the hybrids are available anymore. Hopefully they bring them back one day.

 

Is minifee come with birth card or certificate of autenthic (sorry if typo)? If yes, is the name of the owner will written there? Because i ordered mine from a local BJD group service. I want my name to be there rather than the shop name

They do send them with certificates now. Usually companies leave the space for name blank so the owner can fill it in themselves if they want to (while some other CoA don't even includde such a space). I believe there's a box opening and someone showed the certificate, so you could look for that and see if the name was written on? I just checked and it seems that the certificate comes without the spaces filled ^ ^ So you can fill in your own name when you get it~

 

me took me too! I just bought the glamor bust (is that the smaller moe line one??) here on doa and put it on an aline body. I LOVE it!!

 

I rarely see this discussed, but where do you guys purchase extra string tor restringing? What size do you buy? Is there any way to tell how stretchy it is? I really appreciate any info you could provide!

My new DES, Eleniel came with a certificate. The owner name and doll name were left blank.

 

I wish the Moe line had more than two bust options...

 

I prefer the M-line Glamour bust to the A-line Large bust. I dunno what it is about it, it just looks nicer. I'm hoping to hybrid an A-line with the Glamour bust for one of my dolls.

I'm also thinking of swapping my Chloe and Celine's characters. I was going to have my Chloe be a kinda pop idol (kinda like Jpop? Think Rise from Persona 4 style), but then I thought Celine would fit that role better, especially since she has an open mouth so she looks like she is singing in photos? XD And my Celine was originally going to be a model/actor but I think my Chloe could fit that role? Gah decisions!

And I got two Minifee event heads this week. Nanuri 14 and Sarang! I really love them but now I've got to get them bodies.

Been awhile since I've posted here (whoops, sorry, real life has been keeping my busy) but I got my mnf yesterday so here is a photo of the certificate (and the manual that comes with them); as others have said, that space is blank but in case anyone wanted proof here you go~

I'm starting to get really anxious for my Celine to come home :/ I was lucky enough to get in on the tail end of the moe hybrid event so she'll have a small bust on the Mline body!! So excited it's really hard to keep waiting

Is it normal for Fairyland orders to take over the processing time? I've been looking at purchasing a Minifee Chloe, Rheia, or Mirwen (so many cute choices it's hard to decide which one I like best!), but the Fairyland waiting room has been worrying me a bit. Some of those orders haven't been shipped for around three months despite ~40-60 day processing times!

 

I think Fairyland is still backed up from the previous event.
I ordered a MNF Luka from Denverdoll and their estimated wait time was 10 to 12 weeks.
Because it wasn't in stock.
