Yes its from Leekeworld, but it is not that style. I got that style too, and I think it is amazing. it curls really nicely and it is sooo soft.

and I have to agree with angeldoll, 7/8 wigs is either a hit or miss. I have several leekeworld wigs that size, and while some fit just perfect with a wigcap, others are way to big. and most leekeworld wigs have volume, so they look extra big.

Everyone's dolls are so lovely.

I have a question. Does anyone use doll stands for their MNFs? I'm considering getting one, but I'm pretty lost as to where to find one that would be appropriate. Does anyone know of a good one?

 

I use the S25 metal stands from kemperdolls for all my minifees so they can stand on the shelf. these are pretty stable. If you'd like to see an action pic just ask!

I second the vote for Jpop (Monique) wigs in 6/7 - all my gals but one wear them I use 12mm eyes though except for my Chloe VE who wears 14mm Makos 'cause they run a bit smaller

Yes, I use stands for most of my dolls - you can sort of see them in this crappy phone pic - I get mine from Joanns and Michaels ... They were really inexpensive!

oh btw..I think I am close to make my decision of what sculpt will be another addition and a friend of Scarlett. I was thinking of what I would style them all and most completed idea is about Mirwen...I even have a name that popped out suddenly!. So in 95% I will be getting mirwen somehow soon.

Thanks, Amy's on the shelf below and I have two more heads (Kaedra and Gesine) that are boxed up at the moment. Scarlett is so beautiful and I think Mirwen will make for a great choice. Those two sculpts have such a different 'vibe' to them. They'd make wonderful friends.

That sculpt has such a cheeky smile and your Liam is no exception, maybe when you start to play with different looks his personality will come through and you'll find a new reason to love him.

Ooh, glad I dropped in at the right time to catch a little Ruth spam-- I just love that sculpt! (Fairyland, why must you make so many lovely options?)

And Lyzrd, I think a makeover could help-- sometimes popping a new pair of eyes in works wonders! Or a new wig. I mean, changing faceups is more of a commitment to change, especially if you send them away to other artists rather than doing them yourself, which makes it a less-good option, but playing with wigs and eyes, even making a temporary 'trade' with another doll just to see how something works... who knows, you might discover a brand new love for your guy!

 

I just brought a wig from Leekeworld size 7/8 but its to big for my girl but would 6.5 be to small?? Or is it because she is a Woosoo?? Thanks

i wonder if we can ask a mod to add wig info to the first page as it's a question that keeps coming up every couple of pages and it might be helpful to have it at the start.

I think adding wig information on the first post wouldn't be possible. There are too many sculpts and not every company's wigs are the same size, despite being called so. Besides, Leekeworld is known for messing up with sizes / making them bigger @_@;;;

Lyzrd: I'm always up for Ruth spam! Maybe instead of playing with wigs and eyes, play with his style more! Deion used to be a bookish, bespectacled brunette. Now he's more the bad boy type with tattoos! I hope you find a new connection with Liam, he's one of my favorites!

 

On the first page is a link to Mendo's unofficial wiki. It divides information into mold specific groups and had a lot of photo references. I does not have newer sculpts like Rena, Rix, Mirwen or Celine but it is a really excellent resource that a lot of people seem to just pass over.

I can't take credit for the photo, but this is Thorne ( taken by a friend. She also did all the modding to the head for me ). My Camera is currently dead, so I can't haul him out for photos yet..

 

Yep, I sure do !!! 2, 3 & 5 are sleepy mods. 1 is a regular ol' Woosoo and 4 is a modded OE Karsh (I used epoxy to make her eyes smaller)

It seems I've spoiled Key a bit this weekend- I just bought her a new outfit while at Katsucon, and then the hoodie I ordered for her arrived! She's chosen the hoodie for now (she can't say no to Totoro) although you can catch a peek of one of the stockings from the other outfit.
