Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 42

Idk, it just wont come off.. I tried using nailpolish remover like you would to take off faceups and still nothing. Like i said, they're subtle, but it's still irritating.. but i know i'm never buying another limited doll again, i fret over them too much. If she wasn't limited it wouldn't be such an issue

 

I'd like to request some luka girl spam please tia.

As far as the mnf busts go, I like all the different sizes except that mline full bust. Personally its just too much. the cleavage is so high..lol But i think it depends on the character. I know many were very happy to see that option.

 

I'm curious for those of you with a Marcia, do you have any pictures of your girl/boy with 14mm vs 16mm eyes?

Hmmm, I see a lot of people have chimed in so I won't feel odd throwing my .02 I PREFER the small bust, which is what most people call 'medium'. I think they are lovely and you don't have to worry about finding clothes to fit. I personally think they make a gal look feminine without drawing eyes to her chest - but that's me. I currently have two small, one cutie and a large. I think it's terrific FL offers so many sizes 'cause IRL they come in so many sizes In the end, it comes down to the character you have in mind ...

Wow - how strange. I too recommend Magic eraser, it's strong enough to get pastel off even if it's sealed if you scrub hard enough. You didn't use oil based pastels did you? What a shame

They are lovely and you're right, all dressed up - you don't realize just how much bigger your Rheia's chest is. And, truth be told, I'm a porn innocent too but I've seen enough random images in my time to know what you meant. All the pics I used to see growing up on the covers of magazines had very large chested women - usually squishing their bewbs to make bigger cleavage *giggle*

 

That's actually exactly why I ordered my incoming body for my Nanuri '14 with that bust option; I really want to make some cute corsets for her, because they'll suit her character well, and the full bust looks like it's in a bra or being pushed up by a corset. There's a good chance she's going to be my only MNF girl, so I really wanted something where I could have a lot of fun with her clothing that way! (And whenever I finally get her body here, I'll find that flickr group and add her in, too.)

All these beautifull Minifees have been pulling me over to their side for months. And now I finally have my girl. I intend to get smaller eyes for her and a new face-up. While the colour of these eyes are 'alright' they are too big for her and only stay in with a truckload of eye putty (makes her head really heavy!) I made some wonderfull shots today in my friends back yard, but they are a bit blurry, like this one, because it was so cold my hands were shivering. Should remember to not to photograph outside without a coat...

Chiming in on the bust discussion - when I first started getting minifees I HATED the large busts. So Mischa has a small bust body, which works for her because she is supposed to be a bit innocent. But I have Callie, my modded Luka girl, who needed BEWBS. And a friend had a moe body and I fell in love with it, so I got one off the marketplace with the huge bust (and I'm so excited. I paid it off and I should have it sometime next week). And as my girls are telling me about themselves the number of them requesting larger chests is increasing. So I have on order with DDE an a line body with the glamour bust, and I need to order another girl body..and 2 more boy bodies. And I haven't quite decided which bust/body/legs to go with for any of the remaining bodies I need.

But my crew is spoiled rotten. They got me to custom order them a couch and chair and ottoman. I'm so excited. The woman who is making it sent me fabric pictures for the chair and I'm getting super excited to have furniture for my crew. I need to set up rooms for them.

 

ohh I LOVE her faceup! i think it is SO gorgeous!! congrats on her, she is gorgeous.

i have the cutie bust which in often think looks a bit too small under clothes but works for my girl'a character and the larger a-line bust. The huge m-line bust (I forget the name) is not my cup of tea when the bust is showing. But i have to admit that I've not spotted it when covered so much.

zombchan, that's super exciting. I can't wait to see your rooms. I'm constantly on the hunt for a sofa within Europe but I've had no luck so far.

 

I'm kinda late for this but, somebody asked about eye size for the Juri '13. I wanna say mine has a pair of 14mm ones. I'm not sure because I got these from fairyland when I bought my Ante and they looked huge on her.. maybe they're 16mm... I'm no help! haha I did order a pair of 14mm Mako eyes so we'll see how it looks when they get here.

 

Hehehehehehe, funny thing is, that's just a bonnet that came with my PKF's dress xD xD

If Fairyland wasn't so incredibly behind, I would be able to let you know. But they are, so I can't . I've got 14mm eyes for my boy, since I'm going for a more sweet, innocent look, so it's not that much of a problem if they're a little big

 

Yea, I ordered 14mm Makos for him as well T_____________T I hope they're not too big! xD FL defaults are apparently 14mm and since Mako runs a bit smaller, they might be okay for the look I'm going for for him. ;0;

I wasn't sure if this was the right place to ask, but does anyone know when Fairyland will make tan MNFs available again?

 

It's really starting to drive me nuts. He's over the processing time they said on the site, the waiting list is not moving at all and they haven't answered my question about when he might be ready to ship. He was meant to be my first doll and he's the only one I've had to wait for beyond the time specified on the website. I have his eyes, I have his wig, I have clothes for him....I just don't have him!
Mako eyes are really pretty! I'm sure they'll work out for you.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure Fairyland uses 14mm in Rix (at least that's what comes with the fullset - I went and checked)

I'd love another event too. I missed out because I was in the middle of buying a house.

 

I don't think anyone is really sure. I know people have asked and they stated they had no intentions of re-releasing tan at the moment. It does look like they may offer new sculpts in tan from time to time like Rin and Tika.

 

Aw that kinda sucks, thanks for the info though! I just didn't want to cave and buy my Shushu only to have them release the Tan MNF again...

No, they were prismacolor's soft pastels.. i'll have to pick up a magic eraser today then, the one i had got messed up. If it doesn't work out then idk what to do about it..

 

Foxxi, Prismacolor ones can be stubborn. If you can get your hands on W&N brush cleaner, I'd try that on her... I've used it to repair brushes that were left to dry with house paint caked on them, so it's sort of a miracle worker, just be sure to wash it off really well afterward. I'm sure you'll get her fixed up!

 

I would like to know if it happens to fairyland to relist a head that was sold during an event ? Does anyboby know if it has already happened?

 

The only time an event head was released again was the remake of the CP Delf Juri 05 (named Feeple60 Juri 12). I've not heard of them releasing the exact same mold of an event head again.

Well I think the magic eraser will work, but I would advise rather than not wanting limiteds again, just try and be more patient when getting sealant before putting anything on your doll. I know it's tempting! But while chalk pastels aren't much of a risk putting anything on a doll without any sealant is a huge risk. I hope you can get her sorted!

That only happened because they perceived a "customer black lash" over their planned event head at the time. The Juri 05 and Juri 12 are also slightly different due to the fact that they lost the original mold and had to resculpt it.

 

what customer backlash over what planned event head? just curious, I hadn't heard this!

 

Anyone else antsy to see owner photos of mnf Rin?!? I so can't wait to meet this sheep girl! I would have went for tan but I love sanding my doll seams smooth. For that reason I went with normal skin.
