Where are you finding this information? Also, wouldn't it be 27 Rins and Tikas? I thought Fairyland was doing the whole, we have 135 of both and 134 Tika and 1 Rin could be the total sell number? I'm just really confused how you're determining what's left?

 

I also don't get that. On Fairyland's site I can only add 13 Tikas to my cart but 25 Rins. How is that possible? Fairyland stated the contingent of 135 dolls applies to both dolls.

 

That is definitely what they said Smotey, but when you try to add Rin or Tika to the shopping cart there appears to be a fixed number of each- for example it's possible to add 25 Rin and 13 Tika but not 25 Tika (if that makes sense?). There seems to be fewer Tika available....

EDIT- I last checked earlier this morning so Lilsparks figures were more accurate! Sorry! ^^'

 

I think it's because they expected Rin to be more popular since she's a girl sculpt, so they allowed for more of her to be bought in a sense (ie, they put her instock number as a higher number than Tika). I'm guessing if Tika was to sell out before Rin they'd adjust the numbers?

 

Just wondering, Rin's shoes are higheel shoes, but I cant really see if her feet are highheel feet or not. Anyone elses opinion?

 

That's what I assumed too.

I believe someone asked and she comes with Moe feet (so, flat. But it's definitely heel feet on the pictures).

Thanks Sahoma, really wonder how that will work out, the feet look like highheel feet, the shoes are higheel and we will get flat feet with the doll?

They made a mistake like that with the first batch of fullset Celines too.

 

The fullset Ante had boots that had a high-heeled look, but fit her flat Moe feet. Maybe this is the same...

 

He's not mine. Only the Ruth and puki Sugar are. I'll check what shots I've taken of Nikolai though. The rest of the dolls are a friend's.

 

Quick question: FL has the Sarang event gifts listed as Nanuri (the label for their drop down menu), so do we call them Nanuri Sarang? Sarang? Nanuri 2014 is already taken, after all... But the event is called Sarang and wasn't Nanuri the last event we had? So shouldn't these be Juris if they are going to be one of the two? Or do we just call them Sarang heads? I wonder if they'll have another Sarang event next year....?

 

I guess they can call the events what they wish, this is neither Juri nor Nanuri so i guess they would be called Sarang lol

But the point is that they did call them Nanuris on the Sarang Event order page. It's on their pull down menu. That's why I was confused. They have been known to label dolls as both a name and a Nanuri or Juri.

 

Nanuri & Juri were typically "Gifts" that were seasonally given. Fairyland called this event Sarang so it may just be easier to refer to the plates & gifts as coming from the Sarang Event. As for the drop down menu, it may have slipped their notice since most events were referred to as Juri or Nanuri in the past.

Oh that's great news. I assumed they were business days.

 

This what I found on their FAQ page, but to be honest, I've never counted the days, so my orders may have come in sooner!

"Processing time starts from the date of payment confirmation (ie. when status becomes Item Processing).
It doesn't include weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)."

 

Thank you. That was helpful. I know that Nanuri and Juri events were seasonally given (I collect the summer Nanuri gifts and my fiance collects the winter Juri gifts) but most recently they seemed to be just every other time from each other and so it has been hard to keep them straight. I wonder if they plan on doing more Sarang gifts? Either way, I prefer to know the exact name of my doll sculpts so as to not leave confusion.

I'm excited to have a MNF WS Sarang on a m-line body eventually heading my way!

Can I have some spam of cheerful, laughing, or happy dolls?

Makos do tend to run a bit small - a 14mm Mako is about the size of a 12mm ED ...

I guess must have always got lucky then, my orders have always been shipped in about two months, which is like 40 working days, i suppose anything is quick considering i'm been waiting over 7 months for my Lati's and still no shipping notices though!

 

To respond to both of you...

Figuring out how many are left is really easy. Anyone can do it. I add Rin to my cart as if I were buying her. Under quantity I put a random number like 20. If it goes through and adds 20 Rins then that means there are at least 20 left. I keep adding up until I can't add anymore. You can do that with Tika too.

There are indeed fewer Tika. Some people have chatted about it and I also think it's because Rin is more popular.

Lilsparks update should be more accurate since I had updated yesterday rather than this morning. ^^ Hope that cleared everything up. :3

so I'm looking at eyes for my incoming Rin and I was wondering, do you guys think that 14mm will be the best size for her eyes? I know it's harder to tell because nobody has her yet but I figured the FL veterans would have some input on this one.

 

Definitely not a veteran, but in general I find best to get a size smaller than what the site says. Then again, I prefer to deal with a small gap than an overly large iris.

 

I'm pretty sure those shoes are flat footed. They are exactly the same as these shoes listed here, which are made for normal Unoa/ minifee feet.

 

I also prefer smaller eyes - one to two (or even three) sizes smaller than what fairyland lists depending on the size of the eye. My Mirwen and Celine both wear 12mm and they came with 16mm. My Siean wears 12mm or 10mm (with the new head I received I haven't decided which size I'm sticking with yet) - but as an event head did not come with eyes obviously. My Chloe head I had 14mm eyes in for a while but switched over to 12mm. I feel the smaller eyes give an older look. My Nanuri '14 head is going to keep Rin's eyes because they're 14mm and I want her to have the larger "doe-eyed" younger look than the rest of my crew.

 

hmmm, I'm thinking I might want my girl to have that kind of young look to her. Cessna is extremely mischievous but plays 'innocent' to those she pranks. Maybe I'll grab some Eyeco soft glass eyes in 13mm and 15mm...

thanks for the input you guys! it's been awhile since I handled a mnf and my current DZ boy (Cessna's brother) has pretty big eyes too so I wasn't sure which way to go. ^^

 

Shale and Morrigan both wear Eyecos in 13mm and I almost feel like they could even go a size smaller (especially Shale)

OMG, that's a GREAT and in-time information! Don't you have comparisons of ED 14mm and Mako in 14mm? I've been thinking of getting some for my Lishe and now really confused, because REALLY not sure about the size ... @_@

 

wow, I don't know where I was, but just saw the new thread and we are already at page 11! I was able to get on a split with someone I have actually worked with before, so I will have some hooves for my Juri'13.....she will be my little deer girl, but she finally has a faceup and I wanted to share :-)

alanielle, Makos do run smaller than usual eyes, but I'd say a 14mm is more of a 13mm than a 12mm. sorry for reposting this pic, but here you can see the size difference between the 12mm Latidoll crystal eyes wore by Tania (tan Chloe on the right) and the 12mm Mako urethanes worn by Mari (Luka on the left). hope this helps!

alanielle, my Karsh, Haven, wears 14s in ED eyes. I have some 12s too and I tried them, but they were a little too gappy so I decided to use the 14s since he's supposed to be
a younger brother anyway. I posted some 14mm mako's in an Ante a couple pages back. I think the Ed eyes in 14 look better than the mako in this instance. I do normally use 12s in most of my mnf. I think actually that Haven is the only one who wears 14s.

 

I decided after long think not to go for Rin because I decided to bring a another girl home.

Since they will come with the magnets, do we think the Rin & Tika a la carte will have the option for those fantasy parts? Or are those limited to the fullset? ._.

 

Limited to the fullsets. I don't think FL would make them basic.

Oooh I'm really hoping they do tan minifees again later this year or something. I'd love to get Tika in tan on the ALC option. I also want to get all the hands in tan and you can't do that right now.

I'm already antsy for Rin to come home but the wait is going to be so long. Because I went through DDE I'm pretty sure I won't get her until I'm out of school for the year!! @__@ I suppose that's probably good because I won't get so distracted with her while I'm trying to work!

I have a NS Mirwen........ but I want a tan Mirwen and tan chloe and basically all the tan dollies.

I'm hoping that they come out with a darker tan like the chocopuki tan at some point. I would... melt!

 

I was tempted to get a tan Mirwen but I knew I was gonna sand the heck out of her brow and wasn't sure how light it was gonna get and didn't want to risk having to sand the WHOLE face to get it even. I'm quite happy with my NS gal but I think, I might even have enjoyed her in WS - seeing as she's 'other-worldly'

Just a few hours ago I also started thinking about getting a chloe too!

personnaly I'd prefer if they brought back the chicline tan, because I have a character (the mirwen) who could use being a lil bit lighter than the others (AKA Tika & potentially chloe).
Ahhh, in a perfect world, FL would offer all 3 different type of tan.

How do you restring your MNF? I've got my first since a few months but now she seems to be a little bit floppy ._.
The neckparts für MNF are awesome, but how do I remove it for tightening the string? Awww....dolls are so complicated T_T

And could I request some chloe/mirwen and celine spam, as I am sick, my big doll didnt find new home yet and my Scarlett's (chloe) face isnt done yet and I feel not happy today.

 

I recall you're supposed to restring them from their feet up. (as in remove the feet and let the string slide in the body.)
But I am not so much an expert on this, since I have never restrung a minifee myself.

 

I reeeally hope they do another tan event. I'm becoming slowly obsessed with the tan Minifees; it doesn't help that they really seem to suit my characters. Now my life is all about hunting down a tan Ante on the Marketplace forums, unless they happen to do another tan Minifee event. I loved the tan Rin too; just couldn't justify buying both her and Tika this round. Hopefully her being more popular means I'm more likely to see her pop up on the second hand market in the future.

 

I don't have my Mirwen just yet, but I have Celine and Lishe spam if that helps? Also sorry you're having a rough day!! I hope it get's better!
