Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 41

Hope it's okay to ask this here. I'm attempting to order a Rin fullset through DDE but can't pay until Wednesday. If I was to order her now would DDE allow me to wait to pay until Wednesday? (I messaged them but they won't get to me til later)
I thought I'd ask here since soo many have been ordering through DDE for these fullsets and someone may have done the same XD

Also side note, has anyone noticed the videos FL has been releasing of the new dolls? I hope we'll see Rin and Tika videos up tomorrow c:

 

They give you a 42 hour window normally but I'm sure they would be willing to work with you since they won't place their next order until Saturday.

Also, I would love to see Tika and Rin videos! The LTF one was really cute!

You guys really need to stop making me want to buy a Karsh. I just got a Luka and a Tika! Aaah, I need all the Minifees.

 

Hi everyone,
I am new here. I have just ordered my first Minifee. She is so beautiful I could not resist even though I'm a bit scarred about her size. I could not decide between white skin or natural but choose natural in the end because I was to afraid she would be sold out soon.

I am a bit worried. I have never ordered from Fairyland before. I could not check out till I filled in (Detail address) so I filled in the same address there as my shipping address even though I had checked the box: shipping address is the same as billing address.
In the confirmation I have received by email behind address my address is printed twice in one sentence.
Would this be a problem or is this normal? Or should I contact Fairyland.

Don't worry about it, it makes me do that too and my packages have always been sent to the right place.

Rinoa I'm used to waiting 7 to 8 months for a Lati doll. So 50 days feels so fast to me it will fly by lol.

 

We'd all be happy if it was 50 days xD It is closer to 5-6 months...u.u

 

OMG that's shows how little I know. I thought it was 50 days and 60 for tan skin. Must have read it wrong. It's going to be a really long wait.

Does this mean the ears and the feet come blank without blushing.? I really like the pink blushing on the ears and the brown hooves it would be to bad if they came blank.

 

Just to throw out there, my last order from fairyland took 53 days to go to on-shipping (from the Nanuri '14 event). I know other people's took longer but not ALL the orders are behind. I think partly it was due to the fact that they made a promise to get all the FeePle dolls out and it backlogged them quite badly. Direct from fairyland is usually pretty good about it within 50-55 days. It just sucks when you have to wait over a weekend because 53 days was actually an extra 5 days of waiting. Unfortunately I was stuck at the "on shipping" notification for a full week before they actually shipped. So total, before my order actually SHIPPED (all NS and WS parts), actually took 58 days. But for me I can handle that. The only time I've had an order be longer is when it's through DDE.

 

And I caved and got myself a tan Rin. >w<
I'm so excited about this girl, she'll be my first tan minifee, and my first fullset minifee! It will be a long wait but a worthwhile one.

 

Yeah they won't have any blushing.

 

DX I can't spam my Carl until he gets home! He's getting his face painted because his last face-up was so light that he looked unpainted in photos! I promise to post pics of him when I have some though!

The Carl does seem an under-appreciated sculpt and I'm not sure why! I think he's lovely! I also want a Tika but I just couldn't afford to bring him home this time. Good thing he'll be released alacarte, I guess, but I really wanted him in tan... SIGH

 

Shawnee, not sure if anyone answered you yet, but while pokori's ante was here, I tried some 14mm mako eyes in her and took some pics Here is one of them:



Sooo I'm not sure if the 12s would be ok or not. I have some here now for Mirwen & some in 12 that I've used in Juri08, but I thought Ante's eyes were a little wider.

Major lurker here. I always enjoy everyone's photos but rarely post because my own photos look so horrible. But I've dressed my girls for winter and they look awesome even with the poor photograph.

 

I had to come in and share my excitement about ordering a Rin fullset!! And also at finally getting my tan skin Mirwen home! She and my Celine look so good together now! And forgive the naked-dolly-face, my preferred face up artist is on hiatus for now. XD

Awww, thank you so much! And poor you with no dollies! Where'd you go that you didn't have them? I don't know that I could go anywhere without at least one at this point. XD Your Charlotte is so pretty! The Ante is definitely growing on me.

 

5-6 mths! My last order direct from FL took 3 months. Mind you, DDE might be longer I've never ordered from there. It arrived this week!

Ahh yeah I wish she could come in smaller busts;; That's the one thing I'm not thrilled about haha. (Others have said the bust doesn't look so extreme when the body is clothed though so my fingers are crossed.)

 

I ordered my Tika through DDE; does anyone know if they send you the order number so I can obsessively check my status on Fairyland itself, or will I just need to call/email them when I want an update?

And a second question: did Ante ever come out in tan? I loooooove her and she'd be perfect for one of my characters, she'd just need to be tan skin!

 

I'm supposing you can't do either. DDE probably orders in bunches now that they get a lot of orders / any time they get more than 1 order per day? Which means your order will be shipped together with other people's orders so there's no way to exactly know how yours is progressing ><;;

 

DDE sends in orders to FL on Saturdays last I heard (things may be different with a numbered special event though...) They do not send you an invoice to ck with FL. If you want to know status, you need to contact them directly. They are super nice but can get overwhelmed sometimes. A good rule of thumb is to give them a full 2 weeks past the processing time before asking.

 

Drats, I accidentally ordered the eye upgrade.

 

Dang. Though I guess that keeps me from refreshing an order page like a crazy person. I'll just follow up with DDE in a couple of weeks. :P

Ante was only available a la carte in the tan event which is sadly already over.

 

What these two ladies said. DDE orders on Saturdays (so their order from last Sunday till today will go into FL today). They get SUPER overwhelmed with orders and people asking about them, so it's best to wait until you've hit the processing time or to obsessively check the Waiting Room thread here on the forums to see when orders are shipping from to kind of gauge your wait and stuff. If your dolls show up, they're really good about letting you know, letting you pay it off early, etc. but best bet is to not bother them too much as it can mean that they spend a ton of time answering emails instead of packing and shipping and readying orders and stuff.

And what Lil Spark said, all the MNFs (except Rin and Tika which are brand new) were available in tan about end of May(?) last year during an event that went into the very first part of August if I remember correctly? So Ante was available in tan. Your best bet at the moment is to check the market place to see if anyone is selling one, or put up a WTB thread. FL hasn't given us any information on whether or not MNFs will be released in tan again, or if so, when that will happen.

 

I sure hope they do the tan a la carte again so I can get a ante as well. I have wanted a ante for a while and definetly in tan .

 

I also regret that I didn't get Ante in tan. Mostly because I have a tan Pukifee and Littlefee Ante at home already and a tan Pukipuki Ante on order. And I want the complete family in tan because Ante is the only sculpt that is available in all four sizes.

 

So there was a decent gathering of Minifee on my dining room table. The only ones who are mine right now in the mass is Puck and Fionna..(Ruth and Puki Sugar.)


My other boy Ettore is boxed up, and Tika is unfortunately a long way from being home..
