I would like to request more Ante spam ! Is there any way I could get a picture ( pictures) of her head on with her facing straight ? I'm trying to see if she looks like she has an extra long neck. Since her face is so roundish. As you know I'm trying to decide between ante and Merwin. I LOVE littlefee Ante, but I thought her round face and small chin might make the neck look extra long, wich would bug me to no end. I really think that would help me make my decision !

I went ahead and ordered my Luka.. so I've a question for Luka owners. Which eye size do you prefer? 14mm or 12mm?

 

Check Fllickr! There is a user "Shleechan" who is looking to trade her hybrid for a ts Mirwen so she has posted a lot of photos of the M line bust on an A line body. Try typing "MNF Hybrid" You will pull up a lot of different reference pictures.

 

So......it's not Ante or Mirwen spam, but my Shushu's sister came home yesterday and while playing around with her, popped her wig on Shushu.....it completely messed up my plans for Rena and Nanuri and now they don't really go with the sisters I had planned for her, but I am completely smitten with Shushu and wanted to share!!!!! I love her this way, she's exactly as I pictured her :-)

If you'd like it from other angles or closer up or whatever, just let me know. If you go to my Flickr, there are a TON of comparison shots of the Glamour Bust (smallest M-line bust) vs. the Large Bust (largest A-line bust); they don't look a lot different. The glamour bust just looks a bit more like the large bust "filled out" kind of like how it would look in a nice fitting bra if that makes sense.

jenniekay: I often tend to not pay much attention to the Rena sculpt, but yours has to be the cutest one I've seen yet. I love her faceup! :3

She is posing a problem for me, because I didn't think I liked her, then I tried a few wigs and clothing she now I really think she's cute...but I have three heads and two bodies, so now I'm trying to decide if I need to get her an M line body, and make her shorter and younger then the other girls

How did everyone else choose their bust size for your girls? Was it more on character choice, or what clothing fits? Or just plain personal preference?

 

Does anyone have pictures of Chloe and Celine together? I'm thinking about getting them as sisters, but I'm not sure how much like sisters they'd look. ^_^

 

I've heard lots of talk that Celine looks like Chloe with teeth ^^ Whether or not that's true, I think they would look like fabulous sisters!

I chose based upon character for two of my girls but three are small bust. (I absolutely love the look of it) One is large because I wanted to make sure I could make clothing to fit that size and one is cutie - I wanted to give it a try so I'd have all three sizes but that one just didn't work for me so it is currently on layaway.

Grief - I love the tough look of your Celine!

 

It is amazing what a faceup can do. But I think your idea to make Chloe the younger one and Celine the older one is a really good idea. In my opinion, my Chloe looks younger than my Celine. So I think your plan will work out perfectly (Thanks, btw )

I'm thinking my Celine would be older, geeky, a touch more shy and Chloe's the younger, more athletic sister. IDK, the idea for this little family popped into my head when I was trying to figure out what to do with my Pukifee. lol

ShawneeI'm glad for the confirmation that my thoughts sound good! Now I just have to put aside the pennies for dolls. xD Good thing I don't have the 20% now, or I'd just order them both. I need to get my Pukifee face-up'd, wigged, and clothed first. >.>

You mean the tan one in the picture right? That's actually Chloe :P (Thank you ) My Celine is NS. Unfortunately tan was limited ._. Hopefully someday they bring it back since it was so popular though! I have seen tan Minifees pop up on DoA every so often, and DDE had like 3 blank tan MNF's in stock a little while ago (All sold out now). So keep stalking DDE, or maybe find the perfect girl on the MP

 

I'm hoping to see Fairyland's tan skin in person. >.< I'm so picky about tan skins.

Brett I know what you mean, I think some of them look a little bit translucent in photos- to me anyways.

Sooki I know tan skin is really hard to photograph, that's probably why it has that look in photos. I really love some in person - Iplehouse realskin is soooooooo pretty, for example. But others are too orange for me.

 

I completely agree with you. I really really dislike orange tans. FL has a nice rosy tan, but depending on the lighting can look strange. I tried to photograph my tan F60 Mirwen when it was getting dark out and you can barely see her -_- And if you use fluorescent light it makes them look yellow tan. Natural lighting brings out the best in FL tan and most skin tones. I always try to use natural light if I can, it makes a picture infinitely better.

Brett - I had a pair of Chloe and Celine twins and I can tell you that they do indeed make fantastic sisters! My girls are tan, but it should still give you an idea
(Celine has since been re-homed to keep down on the numbers, but it was such a hard choice to decide which one to keep)

Saffron just got her wig today! I'm so glad it got here before I ship her off for her faceup because now I can send it with her! She's borrowing a body for now but I'm hoping to get an m-line body ordered for her soonish. It's too rainy outside to get a good picture of her so instead I give a picture on one of our shelves inside!

Hi guys, ive never posted here before, but I just got a tan mirwen a few days ago and just finished her faceup. I still don't have clothes for her yet, or even a proper wig, or even a name lol.

I am very well versed in shopping for slim mini girls, but I haven't got a clue about boys, and I was thinking of ordering one during the event. I'd love to know this too! My boy only has a few pieces from when I had a Unoa boy and it's only jeans and a coat (don't think I have any shirts to fit him!).

The Mirwen spam is great by the way! I think my Mirwen girl will look totally different to my guy. I was worried they'd look too much like twins which I wasn't going for, but really wanted the sculpt as a male and a female.

 

When I used to have a boy I got a lot of his trousers from Ebay, Alice collections has some nice shirts too. Also Tata's have some cool clothes too, I can;t really name much more then that because I don't have a boy any more.
