Does anyone have a Juri 2013 and Ante photographed together that they can spam? O: I'm trying to see if they really do look the same. Thanks!

 

Here are my two sweeties



They do look kind of similar (Because they look like younger minifees) but the eyeshape is very different, and the mouth shape is pretty different too. Ante also has a more shapely chin, whereas Juri has a pretty straight across chin.

 

I would live with it, just in case. It will still be easier to photoshop out than the possible sand discoloration.

Yay, thanks for posting that photo - they look really good together - I'm considering getting a Juri as a friend for my Ante....
Although maybe I should just concentrate on getting her some clothes.......she has one outfit, and 3 pairs of shoes, so what do I do this afternoon - I brought her a hat and another pair of shoes!!

I'm really hoping that Fairyland will do another tan event so that I can get a tan Ryeon myself, she would be absolutely perfect for my Ebony, with those wonderful big eyes and that mouth!

 

I hope they do another tan event too because I want to get a Tan Rheia and possibly a Tan Luka both on the m-line body ^^

 

Yes, I am getting a tan Ryeon. She is with the GO leader and face-up artist for nearly three months now and I wonder when I will finally see her... If I will ever get her I will spam lots of pics

finally named my girl Nord, which means "north" in Norwegian. Sorry, she is no boy, but she is a Siean.

I feel you, I have not been taking many pictures because of poor lighting and we only get small amount of daylight at the moment too. She is really lovely though and I think Nord is a nice name for her. The more I am seeing the Siean elf though, the more I am liking her.

 

winter pictures are always a challenge because of the short days. nord has a lovely face though, i agree with karla-chan, i'm really falling for the siean sculpt

yeah the more I look at her, the more I like her and her full lips. I really like full lips on dolls. At first I didn't think the sculpt looked that feminine but I think after seeing owner pictures of her the more I am really liking her and seeing the potential of the sculpt.

Thank you for the spam, guys! My Siean was originally a girl, and then declared she's a boy. Your pretty girl Siean spam is making me wonder though. Maybe that just means I need twins.....

His body will be here next week. Then I can spam him with Ishtar

 

I love all the Siean spam. It makes me wonder, is there a thread or database somewhere with all the event heads that FL have released because that would be so useful.

I wanted to post this this photo because I think it is one of my favourite dollie picture I have ever taken. I'm sorta stuck for a name for this girl. I find is terribly difficult to name them when I don't have the "final-look" nails down. I think she looks a bit like Madonna in the pic too? I'm swinging between old fashioned contrasting names like Esther or April to more abstract names like Dragon, Noir, Bex. Any suggestions?

 

I over spent a bit for December (Xmas and my bday)
but planning on watching money enough to send little miss Vivian for a spa day.

I think Mendo's wiki could have it, but I have it written down somewhere, lol. As far as I remember: DES; Juri 08; Scar Shiwoo; Scar Breakaway; Sleeping Scar Breakaway; Juri 10; Vampire Elf Chloe (Nanuri); Juri 11; Juri 13; Nanuri 13... but I have a feeling I may have forgotten one somewhere, a Nanuri I think!

EDIT: missed two: Yder and Siean Elf heads.

EDIT 2: I forgot there were actually TWO Nanuri 2013 releases... can anyone tell me if it was the same head released twice? I honestly can't remember what either of them look like!

 

ooh the celine spam... so temping. ive been so good to focus on face ups.. but i might crack and buy a celine >.0 can i request celine and rheia spam? i love my dark rheia. i used to want chloe twins, now i think i might want twin rheia girls (a lighter one for the next girl. maybe in NS)

 

I think everyone is calling the 2nd Nanuri, Nanuri '14, which is super confusing because I thought the first Nanuri, which I got was Nanuri 12 (released for FL's 2012 winter event), but everyone was calling it Nanuri '13 and now there is Sarang



Rikki101 : I just saw all of your photo's on Flickr and I really love how you styled her. She looks like an April to me but I suck at choosing names.

 

Fairyland calls both of them "Nanuri 2013", which makes it just as confusing as the two Juri 2012s released in 2012- although they had the benefit of technically being for different sizes - one for the F70/65 and the other F60.
the 1st one was the New Year Event for 2013 (so released at the end of 2012 but not shipped until 2013) and the second was a "Nanuri" event item, during 2013... so both of them are technically 2013s... lol.

Technically both were released in 2013, but the second one has Nanuri '14 stamped inside her head I believe. She was also listed as "Nanuri (2014)" on my order form

Here's some spam of Nanuri 13 (with my Shushu on the left). I painted my Nanuri 14 tonight but all the pictures I took of her came out blurry

 

She is simply stunning! I really love the names Bex and Esther

karrigankat Cute girls! I always thought Nanuri 13 sculpt looks younger then most but yours is definitely "older" then Shushu.

Confusing, yes. See Nanuri 13 was announced in 2012 but they didn't arrive until 2013 whereas Nanuri 14 was announced in 2013 and arrived in 2013 also. Ah confusing!

 

Yay!!! I can't believe there is a Nanurj and shushu together, my shushu just arrived the other day and I bought a Nanuri off the MP to be her sister

i have a luka but my ante was just ordered so she won't be here for a few months...

and now i finally understand why the second nanuri head is called 14 i thought it was just a typo/mistake that someone made and kept getting repeated since t isn't 2014 yet. but now it makes sense.

 

My friend has an ante but her Luka is still on layaway ><;

 

In the middle of February I'm going to place an order for either an Ante, or a Merwin on an M line body. I have time to think about which one I want more, but I swear EVERY DAY I change my mind ! I can't seem to make a choice and just stick with it. I almost feel slightly tortured by this. So, if anyone might understand what I'm going through out there, do you guys have any advice ? Maybe more pictures would help ? Lately I'm feeling so frustrated about this, I'm thinking I should just NOT get ANY ! HELP.........

 

Just paid off my layaway for a NS Chloe!! Can't wait to join the thread for real!

Edit: Can I request some Chloe girl + Karsh boy spam? I've seen Brink and Zephii but I'd like to see others as well! (But more Brink and Zephii is always appreciated crazykimochi )

 

Brenay - I vote Mirwen! She's a pretty versatile sculpt in my opinion. But in my personal experience, whenever you end up stuck like that trying to decide between two sculpts, the usual answer to which one to bring home is "both" XD

Here's a pic of my Mirwen with Nanuri 13 again (since we're still on the subject of event heads). I seriously think Nanuri 13 is under appreciated. She's so cute!

Genie617 on Flickr has a boy Nanuri 13... He's absolutely amazing! I'm not sure if she's on here or not, but I've seen her boy there a couple times!

 

I haven't been able to get mine a body (thus he is lacking a faceup until then) but I plan on making mine a boy~

Well...me I would say Mirwen between those two. I love this sculpt and as far as I was a big fan of ante as a ltf, I am not such fan of mnf ante. Anyway I feel your pain, cause as soon as I will find a buyer for my big lishe I want to order a second mnf (right now I have quite new chloe (she arrived at the end of Oct, still without faceup) and at this point I am not sure if I would choose Mirwen or Celine or Shushu!
Wish I could help you with the pictures though. But I only have my Chloe and not so many good pics . So I also call for more Mirwen, Ante, Celine and Shushu along with Chloe this time

Between Ante and Mirwen, I'm biased towards Ante. It depends on what you want in a sculpt, because they are about as different from each other as possible. Ante has a sweet baby face, and Mirwen has a tough, older look.

I pretty much love all the minifee's besides a few x3 Nell makes me love Celine even though I discounted her at first x3

 

It's going to get REALLY confusing if they release a Nanuri head in 2014...

I can do Luka spam, but mine is mostly definitely a boy... but no Ante spam, like PaulinePol I am not really a fan of Ante above Pukifee size!

between mirwen and ante on the mline i would say ante as well. i have mirwen (and love her) on the a line body, and think she also makes an awesome boy, to me the mline body works better with the younger looking sculpts like ante, juri 13, etc, but it depends on whether you want a younger or older looking sculpt on the body?

Really crummy cell phone picture at 2 am because I remembered you asking and I JUST got down to where all my dolls were at. Not clothed, and I will definitely try to take a MUCH better picture tomorrow, but I have to say... I kind of like it. I had planned on getting an M-line body with the glamour bust for this head, but I might either need an M-line with the full bust or an A-line model legs with the full bust... dang. :P

Happy New Year Everyone!

I'm sorry if everyone's sick of this talk, but I'm about to order my first bjd, and I'm dead set on a minifee Celine with A-line body. But, now with the A/M hybrids, I would really like to see comparison photo/photos of all the larger breast sizes (large and glamour especially since I've seen a few full floating around) before I make my decision.

Any help or tips or advice on minifees would be very very much appreciated! ^^
