True, but Makos do run a bit small - I've tried 12mm in a PKF and they are the same size as regular glass eyes in 10mm. I have 14mm in my Chloe VE and I normally choose 12mm eyes for all my MNFs ...

I snapped a very quick photo of my 3 Chloes together. I actually have no time to play with dolls at all lately because of work. Byakuya got a temporary face-up, but for now, that's the most I had time to do. (I haven't even sewn anything since October! OT at work is tough. But monies.)

Oh so am I - all bar two of my MNFs (who have defaults) have AT face ups, and I'm sending off my tan girl as soon as I get a chance. She always does a fantastic job no matter what I ask and that keeps me going back!
Your girl is looking fantastic too - very powerful!

As for AT face ups, I gave my BA, Vulcan, some time in front of the camera; he was with his little sister, Isis (who also recently came home from the spa at AT's.) Vulcan is the only one who is "allowed" to touch Isis...

Ok so the waiting is for my girls is driving me crazy and I'm dreaming about their arrival in my sleep!

Last night I dreamt that I recieved them and the resin was totally cracked everywhere and the skincolor was all spotty, but I forgot to make a box-opening video so I was so stressed about proving to Fairyland that they looked like that when I got them!

And today I took a nap and dreamt that I had been having a party the night before and people had left all their tanned minifees in doll sized pools to show of their beautiful skin colors! And I had recieved (not my TS mnf Chloe whom I've actually ordered), but a tanned F60 Shushu and I was so happy and hugging her!
Then I woke up :-P

Trinket's face was done by Xhanthi (who did a fantastic job-she's even cuter in person!!) but Saleen was at AT's with Zephii I actually planned on selling my Celine (I don't like her nose lol) and listed her on the mp but AT did such a beautiful job on her face that now I've decided she should stay...

I saw Bambi's new eyes! They are gorgeousssssssss! I can't wait to see some sibling spam with Rayleigh (love him!!)

In reality I have never done a faceup but I have the supplies and just trying to work up the courage to dive in..so I have been dreaming about it nearly every night.

Eeee! My girls are home from Xhanthi! They're better than I could ever imagine. Hime came home with her friend Mithos, who was modded by Krowbar. I just wish I had gotten home while the sun was up so I could've gotten better pictures.

 

I just had a doll dream/nightmare last night! (dreamed that one of our dogs chewed on my MNF juri 13 event head, so scary!) and I've dreamed they were flaking to piece too (usually when I'm waiting for a new doll...)

Lady White Raven, I've used 6-7 on the Karsh I've had, but I have normally been using fur wigs, so they are a little different to measure since they are often made custom ^_^

Delurking to say yet again you are posting great pictures of your dolls and to share a good news finally. Today I received a tracking number of my FL package finally. My chloe is coming home! I was frustrated, cause 2 weeks ago her status changed to before shipping but it didn't change for 2 weeks. At weekend I send question to FL why it's taking so long and they replied on Monday that they have big delays in packing (!!) so my order is scheduled to be shipped next Monday. Believe me I was angry and dissapointed and decided not to check status untill then. Good though they also sent email notification, so I now know she is shipped

 

I don't know about Karsh or elf ears (most I've seen have elf ears?)
By my MNF fits best in 6-7, but a good wig cap helps a ton.
I got a couple of silicon ones from Dollmore. They are stretchy and think so wigs don't fall off.

My other doll uses a 7-8, so I just buy those so they can share.

My Karsh wears a 7-8 Luts wig with a wig cap underneath

 

Sorry I missed this first time looking, this thread goes so fast. My karsh is wearing a 6-7 and has a wig cap. However it is really tight and a little small at the back, so personally I think a 7-8 might be better. My Chloe has a 7-8 (she also has a wig cap) and that fits her really well. I can depending on the company though, some wigs give more then others, so that might be worth looking into.

The doll wigs that my Karsh and Chloe are wearing are from For My Doll, but I bought them via Nine9 Style. They don't stretch as much as other wigs I own so I am not sure if that is effecting the fit.

 

If it helps, I've noticed my Monique wigs run pretty big while Leeke is generally on the smaller end of the size ranges.

 

I have the absolute opposite problem. The Monique I have in 6-7 is pretty tight on my Mirwen's head, but the Leeke wigs in 6-7 fit perfectly and the 7-8s are actually pretty roomy. :P

 

What I've noticed is that the moniques are stretchier so a 6-7 fits nice and is easier to get on. Leeke's aren't as stretchy so the 7-8 is loose, but the 6-7 fits better because it has enough stretch to go on, but stays snug. I think that's why it seems like Leeke's are smaller.

 

Chiming in with the others, I, too, order only 6-7 wigs from Leeke for all of my dolls when I do order from them

Yeah the problem is I have owned a MNF Ryeon (and had a Miyu in the house) and both wore a 7-8 (Miyu's noggin was so big that one was even a little tight).
However the MNF Siean has a much smaller head and so far nothing really wants to stick, she is defo a 6-7 playing around with the wigs I have.
I am dying there are 2 wigs I want from Lichtbjd and I am just really unsure on if I should go for the 6-7 or 7-8.

 

I have a Siean and a 6-7 wig from Licht that fits her perfectly. I have 2 more styles that should be in today or tomorrow that I can let you know about too, just in case the one I have is a fluke.

Ahhhhhhh so excited! Had my tanned Karsh girly on a layway with Denverdoll now since August! I probably won't get her until January (mostly because I am leaving the country and not going to be home for almost a month) but still bouncing like a crazy person now that the layway is finally going to be done. (Denver still hasn't gotten her from Fairyland so she isn't even ready yet).

 

Lady White Raven - Quick update. My 2 other wigs arrived today, one the Q-10 fit perfectly, the B-1 not so much. I think the cap wasn't deep enough on that one.

 

I personally just go for 7-8 and use a wig cap for stability, but I understand most people don't prefer that. I get 7-8 for the added length and fullness of the wig and will happily use a wig cap.

I know 6-6.5 from Leeke are generally less risky to get as their 7-8 can run way too big. You may need to stretch them though but after that they should fit no problem. For me with Monique I had a 6-7 Taylor wig that would fit and stretch on all my girls heads (even Miyu!) but then had a 6-7 Roxie that kept popping off. I managed to get it on my Ryeon for a short period for sales photos sinc eI sold it to get a size up.

If you have other dolls, like Unoas and Littlefees, getting 6-7 wigs can also prove to be a money saver, since they fit these sizes and so you can have them share wigs. ;P

 

I have the same style wig in 'God' in 7-8 on my Juri '08 with a wig cap that AaloriRian linked if that helps any!

 

I ordered the same wig in Rain and One for my Minifees in 7-8 and I expect them to fit once they arrive.

 

They should fit fine! I got rain and one as well~ They were temporarily on my VE Chloe & Celine xD

Oooohhhhh it is stunning! I bought them for my tan Ryeon and my white Juri and I can't wait to get them! What beautiful colours!

 

As a side note, all the 6-7 wigs I have purchased from Licht have not fit on any of my Minifee's heads (I had Siean, and I have Chloe and Celine). I use 7/8 from licht with them and just use a silicone wig cap to make sure there is no sliding!

(I am also purchasing from the english site lichtbjd.com - though I am not sure if that makes a difference.)

Calling for help! I'm trying to decide If I want to get a Seorin, or a Kyle, and since this is going to be my first doll from fairyland I'm kind of nervous. Considering they don't really show you the company faceups on the site I was wondering if anyone had some owner pictures of their dolls with company faceups. Pics would be greatly appreciated!
