ban I love your new girl a lot! Very early on I didn't like Mirwens as much, but then as soon as I saw Sue's Milla, I started to fall in love with the sculpt and now I've seen so many that I really love. I think she's one of my favs now! I love the boys & girls

Yes, a pound shop is exactly like a dollar store. Everything cost £1, well some smaller items tend to be like 2 for a £1 or something like that. The wands came in a bag with a few of them. So I was really happy with the find because of the size of them.

I am happy you like her with all the pink and her new wand.

Awe thanks so much. She's been in the works for over three years. It's so amazing to finally see her come to life. She's not even 50% complete. I still am waiting on her horns, sword, her real outfit, and her face-up.
I am sending her to Can-tan Studio. Since we are both in canada it makes things easier. Plus I think she would be the most likely to pull off the complicated face-up I am dreaming of.

 

Very cool! Three years seems like such a long time to wait!! I'm happy things are starting to come together for her! What eye's does she have in?

She has 16mm Vings Urethane eyes. The pictures can't even do them justice. I have to admit I prefer Urethane over all others. I now have glass, acrylic, and Urethane.

I'm so happy to hear that I think it's really a shame there isn't more Eliya's around. She was the first Minifee sculpt I really loved. And I definitely will get her some day! (Perhaps if they have a winter event?)

Ooh, that will be really interesting!! I've just finished spraying Wennie's body with sealant, so I'm going to get to work on her blushing and tattoos. She's beauty white, too. Kind of wondering how I'm going to blush her... FL white is so paper white, I feel like a pink might look weird? But her cheeks are pink and they look normal..


I don't know :P Just the challenges of white skin, I guess. Eliya looks great in white.

 

Oh I completely agree. White seems far more challenging than what i've noticed from normal skin but the white skin really compliments her!
And I hope the person doing the face-up can help that dream. I've seen previous work of her's with scales and they look fantastic so I'm eager to see how she pulls Rio off.

I'm afraid to blush the white hands lol, mostly because i'm afraid of blushing to dark or making them look burned. haha.
It's a shame I can't find anyone selling the fairyland event sword and shield. Those would be Erionda to a T!

 

i only have one white skin doll ( a pukifee) but i blushed her lightly with a pale peach and it worked really nicely. she is a couple of years old so she has mellowed to the pretty antique white instead of the stark white and the peach tones in beautifully!

 

Yeah, I've blushed two normal skin dolls, and it was super easy to find the right color. Never tried blushing white skin before, until today, lol. I'm excited to see Rio too!

Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't think of doing a peach color, but it makes sense.

I was finally inspired to blush Wennie, so that's what I did ^^; It was my first time, but I also gave her a tattoo and manicure while I was at it.

@BykaShka;; Thank you! Hehe, I wasn't actually too fond of the sculpt when I bought her, but when she arrived she just looked so adorable I instantly fell in love.

Gah, also everyone's chloes are so beautiful. I have a particular favour towards chloe sculpts just because of how cute she looks with the pouty lips.

 

Just a quick introduction of my girl. Her body came in friday, she doesn't have her eyes or wig yet, and i have to make a run to the fabric store in this cold whether :/
I made her some feet cozies, which are "shoes" in her world, and a shawl, which was a waist skirt till i decided i didn't like that.
Didn't make clothes cause i don't have a needle and thread here, left them all with my parents when i came to stay with my brothers for a while. ^^;Thus i must embark on a very cold journey today.




I love how chunky her legs are! :]
I think i have to sued her.. or else she's too tight, but i struggle to get her head to go in certain positions, and i can't keep her torso arched back.. and i cant get her to do much other than stand normally. x_x i can't even undo her strings though and i don't think i will just yet, cause it could just be me being a noob at posing.

Has anyone tried switching parts on an a-line with an m-line other than the bust? I have a 2011 a-line and it's not compatible with my m-line at all.

 

The furthest right button at the bottom of each post (["]+) allows you to add it to a cue of quotes that will show up in the reply box at the bottom of the page. Just make sure the text you want to be in a quote box is inside [ QUOTE ]textgoeshere[ /QUOTE ] brackets and your reply is outside of them and you should be good to go.

I am really enjoying seeing everyone's Minifees! I finally have my very first MNF...at least her head! I bought a Nanuri 2013 from the MP, and I am waiting for the weather to cooperate so I can give her a face-up. I plan to get 16mm Makoeyes for her that I also found on the MP...do you think these would work? I've never had urethane eyes before, but they look so amazing in pictures. I have a wig picked out that DDE will hopefully soon have in stock. She will have to wait until after Christmas for her body, though. I plan to get an A-line with cutie bust and model legs.

I will start spamming my poor little floating head as soon as she has eyes and a new face-up!

 

Why thank you! I'm stewing over whether or not I get her a body - I plan to have her tattooed- at least one sleeve and a whole bunch everywhere, and I'm still debating whether or not I'll give her a mohawk or a short wig.

 

16mms are going to be REALLY big in her head. MNFs look best with 12/14mm eyes (IMHO)... I don't think you'll see any of the white if you try to put 16s in and they might be too big for the eyewell.


Also, does anyone have a TS Celine and a NS Mirwen that they could take a picture of together? I realize that's a weird request, but I'm expecting a tan Celine to be a sister to my NS Mirwen and I am kind of freakin' out that they won't look great together as far as the skin tones making them look super different. My Celine should hopefully be here within a few weeks, but I'm hoping I can kinda "steel" myself for whatever will happen, lol.

 

I don't have a Celine or Mirwen, but I do have a NS Ante and a TS Chloe. The tan is significantly different to the normal skin... >.< This picture is with natural sun light, the difference is actually more noticeable in real life. The difference is more akin to Chloe's right arm, where the sun isn't hitting it.

Heh, thank you ^^; I love my Minifee girls. I think Ante or LTF Chloe would be just adorable as a sister to them. I think of Dani up there as my Ante's older friend. They are both on the Moe body, but Charlotte doesn't wear shoes, so they still have a height difference x3

Lol, yes I do. (And I know what you mean, Ante is my favorite LTF sculpt)

This is the only picture I have with them both standing, but neither are wearing shoes. Also keep in mind Ante's head is turned up a little. I can try get a better picture if you'd like.



For some reason I don't have any pictures of my Minifee's standing next to my Littlefee's, but this is a picture of a height comparison I did, and it shoes my M-line Ante and a Littlefee; hopefully it helps somewhat...

S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! With all the softer, sweeter Chloes around (which I also adore, don't get me wrong), it's quite refreshing to see one like yours who looks like she's not afraid to get down and dirty. I have a darker-looking Juri '10, but I honestly don't know what to do with her because I'm secretly intimidated by her look but I don't dare change it!

Can I ask for your opinion on wigs? Originally my tan Chloe was going to be a beach girl but none of the blonde wigs that I have work for her. I was wondering whether to try one of the two new Leekeworld blond wigs (Champagne Brown or Soft brown) or try and keep her in pink. she would probably get another pink wig as I kind of ruined the one she is in below. what do you think?

I agree also, I'd probably figure out a face-up first. She probably will look great still in that kind of color though.

I just got my boy Haven back from Angel-Toast and he looks sooooo wonderful! I had decided a few months ago that I wanted him to have a custom face-up and not the default. He also
got new ED eyes and a different wig. He's supposed to have lightning/storm elemental powers and I think that is better conveyed now.

 

Oh wow, he looks really awesome! I am liking his new look, he looks great!

 

I think the tan resin looks better with wigs that have cool undertones, but that's really just my preference. I like the pink on her--goes well with the resin!
