I got my Ante yesterday and omg, I just love her! Her face is so fat and chubby and she's soooo cute. I feel like her head is bigger than any minifee I've owned but I haven't really compared carefully.

And the m-line body is so great

She is wearing 12mm eyes.

I think my question got lost among all the pretty pictures, so I'll ask again, along with a second question. :3

1. What size eyes would you recommend for a Marcia? I just got in a Dreaming Marcia boy, and the only extra eyes I had (14mm) were far too small and ended up gapping. Pictures are a plus!

2. Has anyone tried putting a male bust on the M-line body? I really want to put said boy on a shorter body, but it'd kind of suck if I went through all the trouble of getting an extra male bust piece and it didn't fit. Would it fit, or should I just get a normal M-line and have the bust modded?

 

I can answer your second question, a male but won't fit female body I'm afraid. ); I wanted to do that with the A line but girls bust are rounder and guy busts more square -ish so to say.

 

Switching busts won't work as Shailara said, but I know there are a few people who have swapped legs to get shorter boys. I don't know if mods were required for that or not.

What I just did to get a smaller boy, was to get the chicline normal body because it is shorter and a little smaller, but not out of proportion It looks great!!!

I think that head was the 'Ani' head that they said they were going to release after the suspension of the M-Line but there hasn't been any other info about it yet.

 

The ears aren't right but I thought it looks a bit like the Nanuri head?!

 

AaloriRian thank you, that could be it - if that;s so I just hope if they will release the head sometime in future, that this will be regular head, not event one.

Rikki101 - well while I was trying to compare somehow, indeed it looked a bit like nanuri, but then the ears...its also reminds me of Karsh, but again - the ears are not the same.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they forgot about the Ani head. That's kinda weird that they didn't mention it since then.

Since my post got lost, does anyone have any preferred sources for mohair wigs that are style-able in a variety of ways? I'm having a hard time finding one. I'm looking specifically for black if that makes a difference.

Aww your girls are cute. XD And yeah it was hacked again. DoA posted this on their facebook about an hour ago.

Just got my replacement Juri 2013 head in BW! I love it so much more than the NS (which FL has sent me by mistake). I'm such a white skin addict, that I sometimes feel like a weirdo with all the people here loving NS and tan so much . Now I need a face-up and a body for her. I wish FL would do the Moe body with cutie bust. I think I will send her away for face-up. She deserves something special (as being my first MNF).

@ Erratic Rhapsody - I actually found out about the forum being hacked because of Tumblr actually! I didn't notice on here since I think it happened while I was a sleep. Although this is the 2nd time it has happened, so I do hope they can get everything sorted!

I took a photo of Ico yesterday while at a friends house to make it look like she was taking bad selfies. However I ended up with this shot which makes me giggle because it reminds me of some of the angry cow memes. Hi, does anyone has mline and active line? Which is better poser? I like how moe body looks, but I m worried that missing joint under belly will restrict her posing? Or am I wrong??? I have Active body and I love how it pose.

 

I have both and the differences in posing I see are that the moe is MUCH more stable and is easier to stand on one foot. also the A-Line is easier to sit straight. the moe wants to fall back a bit, due to the lack of joint in the hips. but with a bit of fiddlig, she can sit straight too, almost.

 

I am not noticing too much of a difference so far, however I have not played with the M-line as much since at the moment she is missing a head. I have played with her a bit though and I don't see any flaws with the posing or anything. I have also have had other dolls with only a single torso joint and it doesn't seem to effect them that much, except for my WD has a issue with sitting as straight (like siruveru mentioned) and she has a torso that looks like the M-line. However I think the joints in the upper legs seem to help. I tend to keep my dolls sat down when they are just in my room.

Although I have the A-line bust on my M-line body and I am not sure if that makes a difference, because I know my WD does have a big chest so that could be a factor in my M-line sitting well.

 

I had an M-line body (ended up selling it) and I 2nd the info above, it stood really solidly and was much less kicky then my A-lines but it did have a very hard time sitting up straight and had a tendency to rock/fall backwards vs. my sitting-like-a-rock A-lines

Does anyone have Siean on an M-line body? Does she look alright or have a more bobble-headed appearance compared to the A-line?

 

I tried putting my Siean on an Mline, but I felt it was too bobble for my taste. Then again, I felt that way about the female Aline body as well. That's why Seron is a boy!

Daphne got some frilly undies today! XD I don't think she cares about the "under" part, but thankfully they aren't all that skimpy.

 

My mnf Juri 13 head will NOT go on the neck. The key will not turn. It looks like the neck hole is too 'tall' so the key won't turn when I try.

I have removed extra flash from the sculpt and even attempted a little carving on the neck hole in an attempt to get the key to start turning but no such luck.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do about it?

Do you think this is this something I should video and contact FL about?

Please advise if you can.

Plague - I just realized Renoir's a boy (because of the neck) ... Sorry about that, lol.

 

I had the same problem, but I fought with it a bit today. Mine you have to place her just right, it was a lot of wiggling and moving the head around on the neck piece. and it slipped into place, but the key is still a bit tough to turn, but it did lock! It took me at least 10 mins of just wiggling and moving it all around on the neck piece. I have never had this much trouble with heads before.

StrawberryEssance - This is good to know for when my juri gets here! I am worried though, I don't like the idea of having to force the head since she will share a body. I like your Juri, maybe its the way she is styled, but she looks mature even with the petite face.
