...Yep.. I'm in love with the Nanuri too.. I have no way of justifying another order from DDE though.. Now if they sold Littlefee bodies separately then maybe. Guess there will be some stiff competition in the MP for this lil head huh?

 

I wish I had $1500 to spend right now because I want both heads. I am short of bodies as it is, so getting more floaters would be a bummer. Though I could get a body for one of the heads, I'd still have too many floaters. and it wouldn't change the fact that I don't have the money to begin with. why must you be so expensive FL?! (or better yet, why am I so poor?) TT_TT

 

I have decided I simply must own that MNF Nanuri! But I have no doll monies. ;_____;
I wish things had been reversed, I am getting that bug eyed juri head (no offense to anyone who likes Juri 13'!) so hopefully
I can trade her, or perhaps just start saving now so when nanuri's start rolling around I can snag one. I do adore the new juri's nose though, just that her chin is too small.

Seriously this new head is my perfect cup of tea.

I'm not sure about the Nanuri head BUT I wasn't sure about the Juri until owner photos came in, and it's great she's more mature looking. I'll probably be smitten once people start receiving them!

Looking at it I am thinking it'd make a great boy though...

 

Well, now I did check, I would have to add something else too, to has a 600$ worth order (I paid a little less then 500$) ..and I dont have funds no more, cause been nesting for the chloe.So no chance...but maybe one day I will grab it from MP somehow, at least gonna try

 

That was my first thought too. The more I look at it, the more I like it but there's nothing I want from FL at the moment so I won't be ordering. I wish they'd release the m-line bodies during this event so I could pick up two of them and the head, but from what I've read on their Twitter it doesn't look likely

Oh my! I don't really find Momo creepy, although I can see how one might. I think it must be the intensity of her eyes; they are truly striking!

I am really surprised at how some owners can make their Antes look mature as a MNF! I was kind of disappointed when they released her... although I couldn't deny the face was definitely, unmistakably Ante, I really thought keeping the chubbiness of her cheeks and the large size of her eyes made her look too young for a MNF body. I'm pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong!

Yep. I'm totally seeing boy face there. I wish it would have had fangs, I think he could have made a cute lil wolf boy.

 

I like the lips of the MNF nanuri event head, so pretty.
On a side note, finally got the shipping notice for my tan girl, can't wait! I had a nightmare about it last night, that they shipped the wrong doll, and the faceplate had a huge creepy smile LOL

High heels: So if I ask FL to string my doll with the hh feet do you think they will do it? And if I go with the magnetic option I guess I would have to restring the whole doll? Which I would be rather nervous about! I'm just wondering whether it would be best just to keep her in high heels the whole time!

 

Well I've heard they've swapped bust pieces for people (I actually requested but they refused since I asked too late!) so it can't hurt to ask?

I love the Nanuri head! I feel like theres a tiny bit of a feline look to her (maybe the mouth shape?) so I could totally picture her with a set of cat ears

and I'm happy that the elf ears are shorter (I'm always slightly worried I'll chip Arwen's very thin pointy ears) that said I'm totally broke so hopefully I do really well at the show I'm going to this weekend (fingers crossed!) or I could always do another DDE Layaway

 

i know i LOVE THE NANURI and elf ears would be so cute on her or him i could see him as a very cute boy some one how would look good with the juri 13 im still looking for a juri some where but the nanuri is so cute

That's EXACTLY why I wanted her. I have a souldoll bonnie head incoming but we'll see who I like more for my little kitty gal. She'll be on a Beauty White M-line body and I hope to mod her with the soom cheshire legs! They will be in white skin and unpainted when they arrive so it'll be happy fun modding time! And I'll still need to get her tail and ears, but I'm very excited!



After being so disappointed by the mnf juri head, I'm really thrilled about the new nanuri head! I can't place my order until the 6th but I'm so impatient, I just want to buy now!

 

so if you have a body with magnetic feet you can't just replace them with the magnetic high heel feet if you fancy a change?

 

antrogirl- I know what you mean! I though he/she had a cat like look too. Like pukisha, but more human.
I wish they would offer it in tan, I think it would look lovely with those features.

 

No, you should be able to? I have all the feet for my m-line body which is magnetic. And you just switch them out with no restringing!

Angeldoll, I meant that if I went for the non-magnetic feet I would need to leave them on all the time. Magnetic feet would be easier but I am worried about the fact that I have to order the magnetic ankle joint, magnetic high heel feet and then of course, magnetic normal feet which obviously adds up! Plus I've not restrung a doll before (to change from the original feet to the new magnetic feet), although I know there are plenty of tutorials around. As far as I can tell, you can not order a new body with the option of the magnetic feet - you have to add that on additionally. I might see if I can sweet talk FL to put the doll together with the magnetic joint in the first place! Or have I totally misunderstood how the magnetic bits work?

 

oh that would have been amazing! maybe FL will make it a regular head that we could order in tan someday?

Wow what an awesome plan!

you don't need to re-string an A-line MNF to change the feet, you just pull very hard on the foot until you can fit a pencil into the elastic loop then un-hook the foot, hook on the new foot and remove the pencil, then you're done

it it much easier if you have a hemostat or someone to help you out, it takes me 2-3 minutes to swap my MNFs feet without help.

I'm dreaming of the 2014 Nanuri. I wish it was as easy to create a faceup in real life. I really like this sculpt and I find it quite mature looking which I love. I think the scuplt would be great for a male doll too.

 

That faceup makes me think of DES!

 

People with BW dolls... If/when FL releases M-line again, do you think it would look too weird if I put my Juri '08 on a new BW body? Should I let it sit out [a little] closer to the window (body only) or something to make it sorta yellow a bit? I'm dreaming of a M-line for my Bambi, but I don't want her to look awkward.

 

Nanuri looks like Seorin in the nose and mouth to me, but the eyes seem smaller. I'm going to wait until I see owner pics, but I might consider it for a boy character.

 

The only problem I can think with that is possible uneven yellowing on one side? I think she'd look great an a BW M-Line but I too get fussy with even the slightest difference in resin colour so I know how you feel.

I actually had Muse on a new body and didn't really notice a difference. I think when the face-up is really nice and there is blushing and everything that it really isn't noticeable. I mean the body she's on can't be as old as she is lol, I think it was from 2012 and I haven't had any issues.

 

yeah a little bit... the lips are similar and that face up is very default DES. I really want to see other angles (I wish Fl had the time for taking and posting more angles ), the nose looks really interesting and very different from FL frequent skinny noses.

I'm a huge elf ear critic... they look like pukifee? or is it pukipuki? ears... it's cute but mhhh I don't know...I've been seeing what would add up to the $600 minimum and wishing the m-line was still up.

 

You could blush the body a little from the neck and gradiate it down so that the neck area matches a little better. You won't see much of the rest of the body and when you do, it'll be far enough away from the head for the most part that it won't much matter.

(It's actually smoTey!) I realized I had all three skintones new and thought it might help some people who were wondering what they'd look like together!

I really love that photo Elcia! It's very pretty! I think pukifee ears are a better match though Nanuri's go up a little more than the PKF's ears.

Otherwise I am still experimenting with different wig colours for my tan Chloe, maybe I should try black next. hmmm

Am I the only one who sees Elf Rheia in the new Nanuri head? Something about that face really reminds me of Rheia.
I was a bit disappointed with Juri 13 so I may try to go for this one, since I've got a white skin body coming next month that will have no head now.
I guess this means I might get my tanned F60 afterall? Ack, decisions!

she looks gorgeous in pink. Haven't we seen her in black already with blue streaks? I liked that wig on her too. She looks amazing in any colour but I do like the softness of this wig.

I just got a wig I ordered and I hope it's not too big. I ordered a 6-7 but the packages says 8-9. It doesn't look too big but I've never seen a MNF IRL. I'm hoping it was just mislabeled.
