Well, so far, they are trying to not understand my friend's problem and I think they're trying really hard LOL!

I don't think it's really difficult to tell what is wrong here, or is it just me? XD First they asked "What is wrong with it?" and I told her to take a better picture (this one) and show them a picture of how it should be (Gave her link to this http://hushed.org/mnf/imgs/hybrids/hybrid08.jpg ). And after she had told them she can't even take the head off, they're asking her to take it off to see if there's anything stuck or twisted...??

 

I thought so! I played the beta on my dad's account for a day and I LOVE it. I am hopefully getting it for Christmas this year What wig is that? I think I know but I wanted to ask anyway.... I got that wig that I linked for my future Minifee Vampire Elf Woosoo BW girl :] It's gonna be awhile before she comes home, but I wanted to get the wig now so if Leeke ever stops making them in the limited color then I have it XD

 

Got my new Rheia head today... It doesn't photograph very well, but his head is very, very much more yellow than his body - which is more of a paper-white almost... I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about it, but did end up taking one of my favorite photos ever in the meantime.

 

Shailara - I hope your friend gets a replacement part. It's kinda disappointing that FL is pretending to not see the problem. Like Karla-chan said, I don't know what's up with FL these days.
I hope my incoming girl doesn't arrive with any problems, seems like it could be a pain to try to work with them.

Goodbye Thanks, although the problem seems to be with DDE, not FL (although I kind of doubt FL would be much more helpfull...) I'm guessing DDE wants to avoid having to deal with FL as much as possible LOL!

 

I had an issue with FL with my Tan Mirwen. They sent me NS feet instead of Tan high feet as I ordered. There communication was terrible. But they did get them to me eventually. I expected more from them seeing as they are such a large BJD company, but it all worked out in the end. Good luck to your friend in dealing with them Shailara.

 

If your friend bought through DDE it's good to have her message them ASAP with as many pics of the damage and to keep on them for replies.
I received my MNF Karsh earlier this year with damages and they took awhile to get me an answer from DDE but in the end I got replacements. I had sent several pictures but you have to make sure the damage is clear enough to see in them. I had to retake a few of them so they could see the damage better.

I really hope they will still take care of their customers if they get damaged items. It's always sad to open a brand new doll to find them damaged :C

 

Well, if they refuse to send her a replacement, we can just order another minifee neck piece since thankfully FL sells them separately 8l I'll just be really disappointed in them and I might consider getting the rest of the FL dolls I want secondhand even at a higher price than FLs'...

 

This really worries me too because I want to eventually get quite a few minifees and one or two Feeple60s... I do hope that their quality control and customer service gets better and quits slipping. It's not like this is the first time they've had issues with either or those though x.x

 

Im still waiting on some tan dolls from DDE but this is a little worrisome. I have ordered several FL dolls from them before and thier customer service has always been great. I even had a cline arrive with a broken ankle and as soon as I sent pics I had a replacement part in the mail. I have heard lots of stories of FL having less than spectacular customer service, like ignoring the existence of snowflakes, but I feel safer ordering through DDE

 

I find it odd that people are having so many issues with Fairyland. I've ordered... way too many dolls with them over the last 3-4 years (I think I'm up to 13?) and I've never had issues with their service. I needed a replacement part for one of my minifee and they were more than happy to help. It wasn't a problem with production or shipping so I had to pay for it, but they were quick and friendly. Generally if you have pictures of the damage and an order number they're pretty good about helping. I hope everyone who's had issues can get them sorted!

 

A few months ago my Miyu's key bent like that, but it happened after I'd switched heads so I figured it was something on my end that I did (my dollies were left in the hot car for a bit so I figured that did it, the rest of my dolls were perfectly fine though) so I didn't bother FL/DDE about it... the only way to get the key off of the head was to unstring her and then my friend snapped the string off of the shook and I could finally disassemble all the neck pieces :/ Since I was going to order a tan mnf anyway I just stuck a new neckpiece in with my order....

 

You're very welcome and I can see why you would change the eyes if they didn't always look right for you. I am fussy over doll eyes myself I want them to catch the light right. I see about not settling on a look, on the plus side BJDs are kind of perfect for that because we can so easy change them if we need to. Although sometimes I have had to swap and change things around on my dolls until they have felt right, this has even happened with dolls that have meant to be set characters too. She did look stunning with that teal wig though, although I am sure you will make her look lovely in other things too.

Wow that first picture looks quiet shocking and like there is certainly something wrong. I can see the whole "melted" description. I really hope you can get it sorted. Maybe if you have two FL dolls you can take a side by side picture one with the faulty piece and one with the normal piece and then it would look stupidly obvious. Although to be honest that first picture I could see what was wrong right away.

karla-chan That is actually a good idea, I didn't think of it. If they continue with the "we dun see anything wrong" attitude, we'll be certain to do that! Thankfully my Chloe boy is visiting her so she can take pictures of his neck piece next to hers~!

Thanks I hope it helps, it must really suck to have a doll with a problem. Please let us know how it goes, because I do want to know what is going on with FL more. If they seem to stop fixing issues with their dolls it would put me off ordering from them again. I have been lucky myself and all my dolls have been fine and they have been really great with me. They even did a bust swap for me and a friend. So I know they can be a good company, however all the issues people are having can't really be ignored. ^^; If they fix the issues then fair enough, any one can make a mistake.

Gosh. All the tan photos are making me so angsty for my boy. Does anyone have a tan boy and I've just missed it? Would love to see!

The horror of the melted key had me checking my girls since I stupidly didn't check that when I opened them. Thankfully they're fine. I was worried because my Chloe is strung TIGHT and keeps kicking and headbutting me.

I wouldn't have been able to get a replacement since it's been a couple of weeks since I got them, that and I already made a complaint about the yellowed chicline headback they sent me (they said they'd send me a replacement, that it was odd and should have been destroyed, but also went on about how the new piece might not match 100% and I'm not allowed another if that's the case... felt like they were half admitting it was their mistake half accusing me of being fussy). So it would have been odd to suddenly come up with "oh this is broken as well."

And the mention of FFXIV is interesting, I'm hoping to get some clothes commissioned for dollie cosplay! I think the Scholar outfit is my favourite so far, though the AF Weaver gear is pretty sweet too. XD

 

Lol I've been planning af2 bard gear for my girl xD been trying to just find pieces., but it looks like I might have to commission lol.

Rinoa who sent you the yellowed chicline headback?

I had my order with DDE and I ordered a ltf headback for chicline and it was really yellowed.
I didn't say anything though because I figured it was old stock they had.

 

It was FL who sent it to me, it was in an order with lots of other resin which was all pink and looked new. So I was a little shocked to see this yellowed thing thrown in...

They said they can send me a replacement, and I said it was fine and if they just make sure it's close in colour to another NS piece in my second order I'm waiting on it will be fine. Haven't heard anything since then but it was Thursday. They claimed it was due to temperature changes (in the process? I dunno) that caused this and it would normally be destroyed but slipped through. However to me it looks like an old yellowed piece. I just hope they don't send me yet another yellowed piece.

Unoa Chibi is almost the same size. They can wear a few of the same outfits.

Yet again you all post wonderful pics and it makes me so want my girl right now, but hopefully in week or two I shall be able to share a picture finally, cause status of my chloe changed to before shipping, so if they ship within this week and customs won't eat my parcel it should be soon I am so excited!!
