Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 37

These girls are definitely a work in progress, but here are Mirwen and Ante spam as requested. You can see I nicked Ante's eyeliner when I replaced her eyes. Those blue eyes are too deer in the headlights for me, but I'm getting closer. Mirwen needs darker hair, too. And Mirwen did arrive on my birthday with a nice surprise from FL, a Juri '13 LittleFee faceplate!

That's interesting about the change in the eyes. I wonder what will happen with my TS Celine? I ordered her in June, but changed my order in July so that I could get the event head....

 

im very much debating on suddenly and very unexpectedly ordering a tan skin boy because i will probably kick myself in the near future if i do not order a doll in tan.. im debating between a seorin and a woosoo/or woosoo vamp

 

Not sure. Guess will just have to wait and see.

 

both my girls were ordered back in June, then combined in July to get the event head, and they arrived with glass eyes.

 

I hope my girl still comes with glass eyes because even though I have bought eyes already they could always be useful for another doll. So I would save them. However I don't really like acrylic much as a personal preference thing.

 

Silly me just realized that Seorin isn't available in Tan skin. Thats a shame.

 

I just ring parcelforce depot as soon as the doll's tracking shows it arriving there, you don't have to wait for the letter you can speak to a person and pay it over the phone..

 

That doesn't always work unfortunately. It depends on who you get on the phone. Some insist you have to wait for the letter. Parcelforce are very hit and miss.

That would be awesome! Yeah, I hope not a week either. Soon...soooooon. Aww XD yeah...my girl will need a faceup too. .__. But...I just don't know who to send her too. I'll be sending her or my Siean to Eludy in Oct unless my Mirwen boy gets here. Then he's going. ;D

But...Karla...I think...I beat you. o.O Somehow. I guess our post decided they wanted to get my package here sooner. XD I luckily got her today! Yay! Because I usually don't get dolls on Saturday due to the overseas shipping, I'm shocked I got her.

It's Isis! Totally not in her own wig or eyes. XD But! I did want to see how a Raoukin corset looked on her, annnd they fit! She is on an A-line with the full bust from the M-line. :3

That is what I normally do, however it is still stuck in customs, once that changes to released with charges that is when I give them a ring.

Your girl won because mine got stuck in customs, I knew that would be the deciding factor. Since customs can hold things for as long as they want to. Hopefully I will have her soon and it is great to know that FL did the swap ( I was worried they would forget) since yours has the huge bust. I am also really happy that the corset fits well since I know that is what you really wanted for your girl.

Also congrats on your new girl getting home. I hope I get mine very soon!

 

Erratic Rhapsody - Forgive me for sounding so stupid, I'm still new to Minifees and don't recognize all the sculpts so I have to ask, who is she? She's amazingly cute and I love her but I have no idea which sculpt she is. She's going on my wishlist!! Congrats on her arrival. I can't wait to see her with a faceup. That corset looks perfect on her.

 

Gosh darn customs. You'll get her soon though. Yes! I am so excited that they really did do the bust swap for us! It was so incredibly nice of them. I just love them forever. Thank you. I'm sure she will come soon! And she will be just perfect for you too!

Aww thank you. And it's no problem at all. :3 She is a Woosoo, just a normal Woosoo. ^^ I'm very happy I got a Woosoo over a Rheia actually.

Soo I have a question for those of you with the new tan babies, does anyone have a new tan minifee with an iplehouse doll in special real or light brown? I'd love to see how the colors compare :3

 

OMG so much tan love Woosoo is a sweetheart later on I would love a vampire one hehe to go with my Lati vamp babies (hope I am allowed to mention them here I have a light brown skin Iplehouse but Chloe has only been ordered but once she arrives I will be happy to take a pic for you

 

Ahh, I didn't realize there was a normal Woosoo! I thought they were all vampires!

I'd love to see how Fairyland's tan compares to Iplehouse real skin as well. I can't wait to get my m-line girl to compare with my Iple guy. I'm afraid the height difference will be a problem. The other guy I'm considering is even taller so I don't know what I'm going to do. I may have to get a Fairyland boy for her..but it won't really work considering I'm passing on the tan skin event and the character is tan.

I have a comparisons photo of my tan dolls. From left, MiniFee tan, Supia original skin, Iplehouse light Brown and Iplehouse real skin. The MiniFee colour is more pink than on the photo.

 

wow thanks for the pic so it really looks like the Real skin iplehouse is closest to the tan minifee Out of interested can you please take a pic of the tan minifee with your Light brown one as I have a light brown iplehouse at home

 

Zinna - Oh thank you!! I plan on having a couple JIDs be siblings to my incoming tan fl dolls. I definitely like the likeness to the IP real skin. May I also request a photo of your mnf next to your realskin JID?

 

Is it hard to get a faceup to show up on a tan skinned doll? I'm really kind of liking the tan skin but I don't know if I could handle a complicated faceup. D:
All the tan dolls are making me want one.

for those of you who received 2 or more tan minifees... have you noticed a difference in the tan shade? one of my girls is a little bit darker than the other, like one has a dark chocolate sub-shade and the other a coffee sub-shade. this makes my bust-swapping idea less likely, sigh

Congrats to everyone who has got their dolls home. It is all very exciting to see so many new dolls in the thread!

Me too because it does mean that my girl is going to be really perfect for me and I am stupidly excited about her. What makes me even more excited are the pictures is actually seeing people who have swapped busts so I have seen what the M-line body looks like with the cutie bust. I am stupidly happy FL agreed too!

I hate this part of the wait though because there is no way of knowing how long it is going to take! It is not like other parts when you have a rough idea of precessing days, or are watching the tracking update and move closer to you. It is just a case of it is just sat there! It could be a day, it could even be as painful as a month if customs really wanted. There is also nothing I can do about it, I simply just have to wait and hope it is sooner rather then later.

One of my meet up group is waiting for her Bluefairy doll, which currently their turn over time is 1 week and because her doll is now stuck in customs it is taking longer to get her then for the company to make it and get shipped out. I am joking that our dolls are cell mates though since they are now both stuck there.

 

I didn't get more than one tan minifee but I brought home three tan dolls and about 25+ pairs of extra hands and feet between them and the tan shade is basically spot on perfect between all of them. I noticed some areas were slightly lighter due to sanding but it was mild on my dolls so I wasn't concerned about it. But since it's only on certain parts it does make them look a little bit lighter.

 

I had a picture of both girls naked for reference on Flickr and started getting MANY likes from people that have nothing to do with the hobby... and friends requests... from weird people with no pictures, just them listed as male and single, or with their profile picture. I had to put that one as private. one of these days I will be also taking some comparison pictures of the moe glamor bust and the largest A-line bust, so if anyone is interested just add me on Flickr

 

What seriously?! Gross. I'm sorry that happened. I can't believe people sometimes. /sigh I'm glad that hasn't happened to me but now I'm worried.

Tan skin option, which was supposed to be available until August 31 (Saturday), has been extended to the morning of September 2. It will be removed from the website the first thing on Monday morning of September 2.
Customers interested in tan skin option dolls should place orders by Sunday, September 1, at the latest. Tan skin re-release possibility remains unclear at this stage.

I was wondering if they are going to re-release the Moe Line body... I wasn't sure if I wanted it when it was available, I wanted my Celine to be tall and all, but I'd so die out of cuteness for a Moe DES or Moe Juri13... Nevermind Chloe, she would be so cute, I'd melt.

Yvette's (celine) eyes are from MakoEyes. The sclera/white is a little small so there's some gaping but I like the eyes and the way they look so I can deal. I know they're the Amaryllis style but I don't remember what color number they are off the top of my head. The centaur's eyes are glass from Captured In Glass eyes (you can order on DoA) and the two pukifees.... well they're the default acrylics they came with! (I was super impressed TBH, usually I hate acrylic eyes!) Also, I think Zoe fits her really well!

Thanks! I'm going to try a few others on as well but I want her to be pastel and cute! Sort of... pastel mori style. AND NO GO ORDER YOUR TAN DOLL YOU HAVE UNTIL TONIGHT.

Ahhh me too! I am fairly sure they will, although I hope it's not too soon since between this order, my luts TDF unicorn centaur, fixing my car, replacing my computer battery, and starting classes this past week I am completely broke. Hoping that maybe it'll be around the winter event perhaps?

Aaaah, I did it again! xD I was going to switch my Celine out for a tan Celine, but then Rena accidentally made her way into my cart instead! xD I think I will have more fun with my Rena character, and I'm so excited to see her in tan! I put her on layaway with DDE, so I probably won't see her for a long while yet, but I am so beyond excited and I'll have plenty of time to gather up her cutesy pastel wardrobe~ >w<

Congrats to everyone who has gotten their tan MNFs! SmoteyMote, I originally was going to get my Celine in tan because of how ADORABLE your girl is, but Rena won out this time! I'm definitely hoping that FL will release tan skin again so I can get Celine in tan. She's so gorgeous~

 

Oh Lawd so many things to do O.O I wish you the best of luck in the orders and the fixings! I would love if they would release them during the Winter Event. Maybe a new Minifee head too? *^* No? I'm a sucker for them aha

 

Has anyone found a source for shoes for those adorable m-line feet?

I heard that the Lekeworld D shoes fit (I think) and I tried every pair of Yo-SD shoes I owned and none of them fit my M-lines feet there was 1 pair that was long enough (4.7cm interior length) but her foot was too tall too fit in them. for now I'm just stuffing the toes of my other Minifees shoes, I'd really prefer a pair that actually fits though!

I'm curious if the 14" betsy McCall shoes from DebsAdorables would fit?

 

Worst thing is I still haven't finished painting my MNF Siean. Worst MNF oven EVAH. Need to get inspired and paint her up!

 

If anyone does find any shoes that fit, please add them to the Minifee shoe database for future reference for those of us who are hoping to grab one at the next release. thank you!

 

I've already named my future Celine and decided on what she'll look like, so now I HAVE to get her. I'm past the point of no return.

 

My Moe-line tan Chloe is at the customs, I just paid custom-fees for her (105 euros!! UGHH!) but I hope she is worth it... I can't wait to get her home soon!!&#9829;

I played around with my Rix last night, really can't wait for her eyes to come in. We have been working around the clothes thing, since nothing fits, but we will make something work for the time being. Really loving the mold, glad I picked that one.
