Oh God the tan is just a gorgeous colour. It looks like they've just done a superb job with it.

And all the Rheia spam is killing me. I want a Mirwen boy in tan, not a Rheia girl in tan, goshdarnit. DX

XD I ordered a Mirwen boy in tan on the muscle body. I'm super excited. Also have a tan woosoo girl.

 

My m/line can arrive any moment^^ So happy, this the first time I ordered directly from Fairyland.

This thread moves so fast that sometimes you won't get a comment on your photos even if people are commenting on others. It's happened to me, but I know people don't always reply, and if people are replying and miss yours I'm sure it's nothing personal! Besides, this is primarily a discussion thread so people tend to go off on a topic or asking for comparison photos.

 

I think Chloe could look like her with the right face-up, or maybe a SP modded Shushu.

I will have to bury deep into my pockets and sell everything I can because hot damn! One of them tanned bitties is coming home to me definitely!

 

It's the eyebrows that would make me think of Mirwen too.

I am finally able to join in the photo spam and share my new girl Aina with you. She actually needs a black wig, smaller brown eyes and a moe-line body but other than that... I am totally smitten with her. I hope you like her too.

Coming out of lurking b/c I need some help.. This thread just moves too fast for me to keep up!

I have had such a hard time posing my girls all the time I wonder if it's because they are too loose. I've restrung them once with their old elastics but they are having problems again.. Mostly wanting to bend over around the hips and not wanting to hold any weight bearing poses on the legs...

I think I'm going to try to restring both of them with new elastics. Can anyone tell me what size elastic they use? I'm thinking about getting 4.5mm from Angel Studio but worry a little that they wouldn't fit! I think I might even try putting in some kips to see if it will help.

And while I'm here, dropping in a spam of my newly christened Cantarella! She'll probably go by Rella...

JediSpiceGissia funny you mentioned that because I've often seen pics of the F60 Mirwen and thought she looked like someone and then realized it was Natalie Portman, so I think that done right the mnf one could probably work too.

 

Thanks for this. A lot of the photos I've been seeing make the tan look blue-ish to me. This is wonderful.

I think shushu looks more like Gemma Arterton. Their lip and face shape are nearly identical.

As for a Natalie Portman look alike, best bet would be a Mirwen. Maybe with a little sanding down of her chin to be less pointed.

 

Anyone have a side by side of Celine and Mirwen? I've got a tan Celine incoming who's supposed to be my Mirwen's sister, but I'd love to see them together if anyone can do that for me.

I thought i've read somewhere that they fit minifees.

But i was wondering if anyone has any photos?

 

Oh I missed this! No, I haven't ordered yet. Gonna order tomorrow me thinks. I'm getting the Mirwen boy, but the Rheia spam was tempting me to change it into a Rheia girl cause I think she'd look gorgeous in tan and I tend to gravitate towards girls (I have one SD boy atm...).

Of course the Rheia would just end up costing me more since I'd want almost all the hands in tan (instead of just a few of the more male looking ones and the heart hands) and I'd want to replace her feet with magnetic feet (so magnetic ankles, feet, heeled feet, yeah... $90 just on that!) whereas I'm never gonna change my boys feet, so I wouldn't have to do that. It's not just the cost that's swaying me though, I want a boy and I already have a story for him plus I think my Rheia character would fit better in NS.

I'm getting my Mirwen boy on the Muscle body too... I can't wait to see yours (since yours will arrive first! XD damn my lack of money until now). I bet he will look gorgeous! I know there is a tan Mirwen on the way from looking on the waiting list, though it's an M-line, but I'm pretty excited to see how the sculpt looks in tan.

Yep. That completely makes sense. XD I had to order some heel feet just in case. I also have a boat load of hands I got. @_@ So much monies thanks to that little tan girl! Why are boys so much easier? lol. Haha...I remember my first boy...he was a Karsh twin. I ended up not liking him. XD But now that there is tan...I can't wait! I definitely really like NS Rheia's. :3 I know I'm biased towards tan boys though. xD

the 22" american model/tonner shoes fit the high heeled feet pretty much perfectly ( i have several pairs, but sorry no pictures) apparently the 17 " tonner mens will fit the flat feet, but i haven't actually tried that yet. i think ban has some boots in that size for amy?
it's weird 'cause they don't list all the american model shoes under bjds only some of them, but i shop that category instead for my girls, and they have all fit so far

i finally caved and ordered a tan chloe....... of course then i had to get tan high heel feet, and spare hands since she wont be able to share with the other girls. it really is cheaper to have them all one skin color, but i'm excited about the tan anyway! (and she will be joined by her tan sibs that i ordered before, so fairyland really got me with this skin tone!)

 

I've been looking at this gorgeous shoes, but I was sure that it was not for MNF. Seller wrote that the width of the shoe 2.1 cm, I measured my Chloe - foot width 2.3 cm
But I would be happy if someone will say that these shoes are really suitable for MNF.

I own several pairs of Ellowyne shoes because I really like how her outfits fit on Minifee but never even bothered trying her shoes on my girls because they are just so obviously too small. Comparing Ellowyne shoes to shoes that do fit Minifees, they are about 1cm off, which is very significant in this scale. Granted, I was comparing high heel Ellowyne shoes to flat Minifee shoes.. But I don't think Ellowyne shoes even come in flats.. Her feet are molded high heel Barbie style. Anything for 16" fashion dolls are more likely to fit C-Line than Minifee.

I have bought 22" American Model shoes, and like auntbear said, they fit MNF high heel feet pretty perfectly.

Never tried the 17" Evangeline shoes. If they fit I'd really like to knw!

crazykimochi, i was wondering what shoes your girl was wearing in her photos xD

 

definitely has to be the resin evangeline ghastly. which is exactly the same size as 22" tonner. ellowyne clothes work, but the shoes are all too small.

another place to find high heeled shoes is facets by marcia. she sells the 22" tonner and shows them on narae feet too, which i believe are the same size as minfees, so you can see what they look like. anyway she has some cute styles, and they are different from the ones on ebay. i've bought from both.

 

So, finally went ahead and ordered my Mirwen girl, even though my Ante still hasn't arrived yet. Q_Q (Hopefully I'll get a magical shipping notice from DDE this weekend maybe.) I'm very interested in finding out just what the default faceups look like for the Mirwen (Tan) and the Ante (WS) ...Kinda nervous, but really hoping she turns out as adorable as I hope her to be. ^^;; Though not quite as much as I hope the two will make a fabulous pair!
