I finally got around to painting my Mirwen the other day, though I still haven't decided on a name for her yet! I am considering Mariko...

 

I had a friend in high school whose name was Mariko. I love that name, so I definitely vote yes.

Also, can I reiterate my desire for some Rena spam? Looks like it got missed on the first page, and I'm jonesing for doll heads that won't be home to me till October at least. XD So I just really would love to ask for some spam to tide me over in my wait.

 

My minifee Celine, Reverie, just returned from her faceup artist and is finally complete!! it feels so great to have her back!!

Adding to the awesome pic spam I am a bit sad how the conversion from RAW to JPEG took all the browns and mid tones from her hair out BAH!

I just checked the tracking for my tan minifee and she is already in Sydney. EMS has been so fast lately, I might get her tomorrow or on Tuesday *0* Cannot wait to see what the tan resin looks like I am beyond excited

My M-line is at DDE! I ran down there today to take a look at her, but won't be able to bring her home till Saturday since I can't finish paying her off till the middle of the week. XD But I took some pictures, figured I'd post 'em. I've got a FEW shots on Flickr, and the rest (only took a total of 10) on Ipernity. But I still haven't figured out how to share images from Ipernity (wondering if my having a free account is the reason) so that they show up as images in the posts, so you guys get a Flickr link, but the link to my Ipernity account is in my signature. ANYWAY.

Yes, two Mirwens! But I'm not keeping the heads on the M-line body; those are going to a friend of mine. I'm in a split for a set of Rena heads but they won't be here for a couple months since we haven't quite ordered yet.

OK I love my girl but this is what I mean about her wig. First pic is how I wish they would sit just nice and flush on her head, second is how they actually sit kinda sticking out the side and showing her ears, Third is how I have her all the time because of the way the wigs sit. Does anyone please have any hints for me>?

I am actually really excited to hear that some people are going to be getting their Tan Minifee's really soon! It is quicker then I expected actually, maybe FL has got the orders out that didn't go with the event sooner. I really hope that is what it is because it could mean I got get mine pretty soon. I didn't order right away though, I ordered on the 20th June.

 

there are tips here on how to restyle a wig. most are on how to curl it, but the technique is the same no matter what you want to do. i'd get a ball roughly the size of the doll head, but the wig on it and wrap lightly with some cloth strips in the shape you want, then pick one of the techniques from the thread to heat set it in position. good luck

I haven't changed my Espe's look forever so I decided to try a new wig on her. She is very different but I kind of like it.

Did you have to mod the hooves at all? or did you just string them together? I've been thinking about getting a mnf body for one of my hooved creatures, and was wondering the best way to go about it. She looks really good!

I had to mod them heavily with a dremel to slim them down. I also had to suede the knee sockets to keep her from kicking her legs. But she stands rock solid, especially on one leg!

I just saw on twitter that they might rerelease the moe-line sooner then expected, not sure if it was mentioned here, but that makes me giddy and really happy if it comes out to be true. Just love that little body.

 

Denali Wind Thank you so much!! I'm really happy with her room, too. It was the ltf room, but since Harley needed a dorm room, she got it. It's at the top of an old boarding house, so it doesn't exactly look like most dorm rooms.

Well, I'm most likely putting a tan Ryeon (as well as a tan pkf Luna) on layaway through DDE by the end of this week! Super stoked! I hope it all goes well. >.e I'm getting excited seeing these tan dolls showing up already, I know mine won't for a very long time (I'm don't have a well paying job so I'm going to have to do a six month layaway...) but it's making me so giddy!

Nikki'sNewObsession : I ordered a tan M-line Chloe I am super excited, she is already in my city so I might get her today or tomorrow the latest I will make sure I spam the box opening on my Instagram and then do plenty of video comparisons. People seemed to find them useful last time when I got my Moe-line girl.

hope the news about the moe lines is right, as long as it isn't a limited release again. i have to pay off some layaways before i can get any more dolls so no more order till at least september, which would be too late for the tan

 

Annnnd I second the request for Tan-Skin comparisons, but also ask for one with WS if possible? I'm going to be able to get my Tan Mirwen after all later this week, and want to make sure she'll look just as gorgeous as can be next to her WS girlfriend. ;3
