Long shot, maybe, but does anyone have DES and Juri '08 that they could do a side-by-side for me?

Confused MNF newbie here, so sorry for the dumb question. Does this mean if I have 2 MNF heads and only 1 body I need an extra neck part to swap heads? And if I order a second body, will it come with all the necessary parts?

You will not need another neck part if they are going to share the same body. All of the heads have the same opening so will fit the neck piece. If you want to use a MNF head on a non-mnf body, you will either need to buy the extra neck piece from FL or get what is called a neck doughnut. It is a small ring of resin you put inside the head so that you can use an S hook instead of the FL type neck piece. If you buy another FL body, it already comes with the special neck piece so you will not need to buy another special neck piece.

 

My household has both. I'll bother the fiance for shots later when she's functioning better.

Decided just to go for it and add the event head to my late June order, my family is paying money towards my M - line Celine as a birthday gift. Doesn't really matter if there is a delay cos I don't get her till November. I kinda hope the event head isn't to great cos then I will have to get it a faceup and a body - I was gonna just stop at two dolls for now so the madness would just carry on. hmmm maybe I will wait for the M - line to come back in stock if I like the event head. Problem is I cant do face ups - anyone recommend a good UK/EU based minifee face up artist?

Ugh. still have not heard back from DDE, and I want to order my Mirwen today.
Though to be quite honest I have a terrible head to body ratio anyway, and although I really don't need anymore heads around I just cant resist the unknown! (and free stuff)

 

Hmm interesting thought that maybe all the orders placed on hold to add event heads might make the un-holded (yes I just made that up) ones ship quicker... My order is tan though so I'm not holding my breath.
I do have to say that the most recent pics of the littlefee baby has made me much more excited about the colour of their tan resin. The pirate sets made it look fairly red-toned but I was hoping that was a reflection of the outfits, red wig and abuse of Photoshop. I'm thinking that's the case for sure now, the LTF baby Rara look so good!


I'm really debating adding to my El order to qualify for all three heads. I've wanted a white skinned minifee elf for a while now and if Juri will be cute this will be the time to do it. But if she's not then I'll have ordered a WS body for nothing. I don't want to wait too long to decide and mess up my processing time, but I kind of don't want to do it without pictures!

A vacation immediately after opening an event CP, really? Talk about horrible timing!

I am curious about the Magnetic ankles too. I can imagine it having pro's and con's really.

I am so tempted just to leave the Juri and hope I don't regret it. One of my friends was evil and showed me a dress that would be perfect for Ico. I can be fussy over dolls even when I am not scared of them. So I have no clue if I would like it or not. I think it might be for the best and not make myself broke.

 

Well since my minifee order from June 15th is on 4 month layaway with DDE I decided to put my order on hold and added the minifee juri head to my order. Can't wait for pictures.

 

Something tells me we wont see pic's until tomorrow at the very earliest. I hope the image is right and there are elf ears. How many Different Juri heads are there for Minifee anyway?

 

There's no way it'll be tomorrow (they wouldn't have said there's no information if so!), or even this week. Apparently CP are away on a business trip and the person who runs the FL twitter has stated they haven't received any info on photos. Also it's been announced that it will be "before the event end" which sounds like it might be a few weeks yet. :\

 

I absolutely hate that they do this. I could understand one event but this is an ongoing thing with them where they take off right as an event starts. I'm happy for their events and the gifts and everything but I wish THEY would be more upfront about these things because it's not fair to the twitter person and the customer service people to have to deal with all our questions when they aren't even available to ask. I also am of the opinion that event photos should appear the day of the event starting. Waiting the weekend is one thing but waiting nearly three weeks for event photos is just... rude? I don't know. If they said 'surprise event head' that would be one thing. But we all know we're getting photos at some point and to delay it so long is very irritating.

(At least I console myself that Fairyland is 10x more awesome that Iplehouse who offers $3 off of your $500-$799 purchase because WOW THANK YOU, that barely covers 1/8th of my shipping fee even what the heck).

 

I agree, I love FL events but c'mon.. how will I know what to spend unless I can SEE what im getting? I dont know if I love the head or not, So im not sure if I should add an extra body or what skin tone I want or if I want to get them eyes or wigs while im ordering... Getting this little Juri can be a big player as far as what I spend my money on and not being able to see it until the end of the event just puts more stress on me to rush and get my order straight at the last minute. If the vacation was planned I wouldve honestly preferred to wait until they came back to announce the event...

Again, I adore fairyland and thier dolls, but lately they dont seem to be focused at all with thier releases and events.

All things aside though Im still THRILLED to be bringing a tan karsh home! and hes bringing a mystery friend

 

I KNOW! I'm so excited for all my new tan bbs, particularly my tan m-line Celine! (I don't even have a faceup on my mirwen though, how horrible am I?!) She's coming home with two tan pukifees as well, Vanilla and Ante!

Currently? Four, but then my list is missing any Juri heads as released this year. There are also four Nanuris (including the Nanuri 2013). I worked this out when they'd announced that the F60 event head was going to be a MNF Juri head - originally, it was going to be the Scar BA head, which as I worked out, was a "Juri" head, and then they swopped it.
They are:
Juri - Juri 08; Scar Breakaway (Juri 09); Juri 10 and Juri 11
Nanuri - Scar Shiwoo (Nanuri 09 -1), Sleeping Scar Breakaway (Nanuri 09 -2), VE Chloe (Nanuri 10), Nanuri 13

They tend to alternate "Juri" then "Nanuri" heads when releasing event heads; they've only doubled up once that I've found, since the Autumn 2011 release was a MNF Juri head, then the very next event for the 10th Anniversary had a F70/65 Juri head.

EDIT: technically the original DES was a Nanuri head from 2008/07 too... but I didn't put her in because she's one of the only ones which is now a basic!

Do you believe possible to adjust a Leeke Art body outfit to fit a Minifee? I mean this one.

I have to agree. I love Fairyland, but this is annoying...They are wonderful for giving us events and gift items, but it wouldn't hurt to have it more organized... After thinking about it this weekend I'm still unsure if I want to spend the extra money. I'm starting to think of passing, especially since I don't have plans for this Juri (which I'm walking away from one again...lol). But I'm starting to feel it might be more hassle than it's worth and I don't want to slow down my order which is already going through DDE. *sigh* :/

I agree with everyone who says they really should have a photo ready in time. I was thinking of adding a PKF to my order but I'm not really in need of one - I had one before but she didn't last long. But I'm going away next week so I really hope the photo is released before then. Has anyone asked if it's a masculine or feminine faceplate?

 

All three are apparently the same sculpt, but nothing on whether it was supposed to be male or female.

 

Most of the minifee heads can easily be male or female anyway, so I'm not sure if it matters. It does seem that they release more female gift heads than male though. I've got it in my head that it'll be female, but who knows! I'm hoping they don't make us wait much more than two weeks for pictures. Would really be nice to get myself organised!
I'm trying to get all my buying done this year because I won't have anywhere near as much disposable income after this XD

I find DES too big-eyed and roud-headed for my taste, but people sure have cute ones!♥

I just traded my only non-fairyland-doll for another minifee, my friends modded shushu Nami, who happens to be a girlffriend of my Lillan!
She is way too cute aghhh!!♥

(She looks nothing like a shushu though, and I want a non-modded-shushu in my group someday!)

It is possible, but may be hard, especially if you have the bigger bust minifee and not cutie, because the leeke torso and chest is smaller and the shoulders more narrow than minifee. But I don't own any company leeke dresses to tell you for sure, I just have an AB girl and clothes I make for her just fit the cutie bust.

 

Aquadoe: Fable is so gorgeous, she's one of my favorite Rheia's I'm just usually too shy when I see her photos, but I've been a fan for a while!

I'm sorry to interupt the Juri discussion but I was wondering if I could have Kyle and/or Seorin spam? Bonus points if they're together. Mods welcome too. I'm kinda on the fence about my Seorin that just arrived, but I'm wondering if I'll love him more with a faceup, or if I'd rather have a Kyle for the character. Thanks in advance!

I have to agree it seems a little silly to go on a business trip and leave everyone hanging. A little more preparation for the release day would have been stunning. Since we did know about the event coming two weeks in advance.

Hey guys, delurking real quick to reques some Chloe spam! I'm considering getting a tan one, but I want to see Chloes with dark, rebellious or grumpy face-ups. Any 'different' Chloes out there?.

I plan on making my VE chloe very angry evenutully. I just have not got around to it since i dumped all my monies into the tanned minifee instead of his body...

 

Chloe has to be the most versatile mold ever. She can be sweet, sad, flaky, tough, angry, snooty, b*tchy, or sexy. I personally favor the slightly snooty look, that's how I'm going to have AngelToast paint mine. But I really love Ceres33's Chloe, Charlie. Everyone's MNF are gorgeous The event news is pretty exciting although I'm abit torn about participating for two reasons 1) I'd really like to see pics of the Juri heads first and 2) I would really really like my next girl to be an M-Line ws VE Woosoo- the magnets in the torso will be absolutely perfect for attaching her bat wings Hmmm, Guess I could always go for the Karsh or Luka boy I've been planning for lol

 

I've been stalking this thread and it is lovely to see so many photos, especially Juri's and DES, Chloe is also very versatile and beautiful. ^^ I've just made an order for Tan Dark Elf Soo and enough stuff (and another little doll) to fill the amount of event gift. I'll be getting the event Minifee head but I'm more exited about DES, I had one a long time ago but really wanted a tan one. So the waiting begins with DES, I have Siean elf who is having her face up at the moment so sorry I don't have any photos of her yet. ^^

I finally added the minifee Juri head to my two existing orders, so Fairyland just combined my orders and refunded both shippings (I qualify for free shipping over 1000$, that I didn't know) as points. now I have 84$ as FL points, sigh, and a superhuge box coming in home at some point in the future. customs is going to charge me amazingly for such a huge box, but oh well, I have the still unknown Juri coming home lol

I know this thread moves pretty fast - but would anyone mind telling me what size eyes and wig Celine wears? I couldn't find either in any of the Minifee eye wig threads. :P I've heard 6/7 and 12mm but any other input would be appreciated!
