I'm really curious about the Juri head!!! I'm feeling a little sad that I ordered my Celine through layaway before the event now. Maybe I will get a Des, but I'm not sure!

I'm really loving all the Celine spammage!!! Makes me really excited to get mine finally hehe

 

Who and were did you order her through and when? Because I am sure most places - as long as your doll hasn't shipped yet, are honoring Fairyland's event policy!

I thought it looked wrong too, especially since she came to me on a boy body, when I put her on the girl body I was like "What have I done!" It looked BAD, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Here's a pic so you can kinda see how manly she looked before the eye mod.


I have not emailed DDE about my order yet, I need to get on it. With my luck the day I do they will tell me my doll is done and no event for me!

 

I know this is out of the blue, and very random but.........I wish they would make a minifee Luna !

Milk Bunny I think it's amazing how much difference such a small thing like the eye shape can make. I always loved Ruth' smile and now I kind of regret not getting a sleeping head so I could get my own Ruth girl. (Yeah right! I really need more heads wanting bodies and face-ups and mods . . . . not! )

I was thinking about this the other day. I really want a Minifee Luna, I really like her mold.

 

Your welcome! Orders made the last week of April are technically very early May ones so I think that is why. They said the event head will probably come separately and I'm fine with that.

@Dustbunnie Me too! I was so worrried about the mnf head that I forgot about my July pkf order. It qualifies for the ltf plate.


I'm ready for Monday and hopefully pics of the Juris. If I really like the MNF I may just order stuff for Juri twins, haha.

 

I'm getting both the LTF and MNF too. Trying to stay calm and just wait it out, because I really don't want to get my hopes up for photos. Not with the track record FL has had this year about getting photos to us for other events... x_x My mind keeps wandering though, back to the old Delfs. The way they said they'd all be the same character, it makes me imagine dolls like AES, Luwen, The Moon Elf, or even an Elf Soony. All I know is I'm glad I don't have to worry about buying more dolls I really don't need in order to get the event heads.

 

I just placed an order for the Juri event head (by combining it with a big previous Pukifee order). She'll be my first Minifee ever *yay*. I did not order a body for her, because I still hope that FL will re-release the Moe body with a cutie bust. Can't wait to see the event head pics!

The LTF pictured with Rara is Rolly, I think. I also hope that Juri has elf ears.

Now I'm trying to decide if I should order her a boyfriend or a best friend during the event..... decisions decisions.

 

For those of you getting both the LTF and the MNF Juri heads, how was it possible to get both? I thought the options were one of the 3 or all 3, depending on how much you spent?

 

I made a new order with just the LTF Juri + LTF Hands and combined it with an order I placed on June 3rd that was a little over the money requirement.

I then placed another order with my LTF Lewi + MNF Body + MNF Juri.

 

Thank you all for the correction. I still think that would be a cute minifee head.

My April 28 order qualified for the mnf head. My July 1 order qualified for the ltf.

I ordered her through DDE in layaway o3o At the end of May. I have one more payment to make at the end of this month! That would really be awesome though! To get my first Juri

MidoriChan - So was mine, I'm asking if I can combine the total of my first order with my new order, its the only way I can make the 600, but no response from DDE yet Maybe you can add some hands to push it over?

 

Agreed, you can add to it! I think someone in another thread said the face protectors were only a dollar. Or you can get some extra parts or something! (I got hands)

Also, some spam of Charlotte. She has a bad habit of trying on future dolls' clothes. (In this case, my incoming woosoo vamp girl. It'll fit my woosoo better though since she'll have the larger bust~)

 

I'm assuming the Juri heads will have elf ears, because the cut-out that FL is using in place of a photo has elf ears.

Hopefully I will sell a doll before the end of August, because that is the only way I will have enough money to place an order that qualifies for a Juri head. Right now I don't even have enough dolly funds to add to the order I placed in mid-June.

Also off topic (from Juri squee, and your request) but what happened to Bambi? I noticed she wasn't in your group photo, She was super, super pretty!

 

I rehomed her because Siean didn't work out as my OC, Bambi... 8( I was saddened by it, but Bambi was always planned to be a Juri '08, she's just too out of my price range! So I'm hoping the new Juri is cute, otherwise, I'm scoping out DES to fill my Bambi-void. ;o;

I'd also kind of been wondering about that. Siean didn't really seem to fit Bambi's bio to be honest, though I couldn't put my finger on why. The character herself has definitely caught my attention though and I've been intrigued by her since then. I like the idea of her sort of latching onto Sebastian to fill the void from losing his brother. It's very interesting.
There's always Eliya too. If the giant eyes don't do it for you, you could mod a sleepy head?

 

Midorichan- I got a littlefee lishe in tan for my first order, and now going to get a mnf Mirwen girl in tan. I got the lishe on the very first day they opened the tan thing, impulse buy (and my first yo-sd!), then I was kicking myself for spending the money when they announced tan minifees too, so I have been saving like crazy to get her by the 31st, then they announce an event, fairyland clearly want to bankrupt me.

 

Yes, yes they do. And own your soul. I just want event head pictures. Is that too much to ask? >_>

 

Well, after a lot of fussing I emailed DDE to see if I can add $100 worth of more items to my MNF tan Chloe layaway I started in June to try and qualify for the MNF Juri event head. Boy, that had better be one cute head!!! I would LOVE it if it turns out to be a VE Juri and available in tan skin...(@.@)

 

The Juri heads are not available in tan skin. Only in white or normal skins.

 

Me too! I'd swear they have people checking my etsy site/bank account just to see when I could just barely afford another event since the timing is always uncanny!

 

Paige is gorgeous! My Gwen is a Miraen with the stock face up but I keep wondering about getting another Mirwen or re-doing her face. I need to contribute some photos soon!

Kazuki you will need a neck part. It's possible to buy them from Fairyland (and most likely from DDE as well)

Littlefee Lishe o3o Great choice!!! And I'm really curious about Mirwen in tan. I do think their timing is quite bad, because they sure are pricy... Kind of wish they would at least make the events last longer. But congrats!!!

I heard of people using these so called "Donuts" made out of clay to put the heads on other bodies. I'm not very sure, but you could try look it up a bit. I do think it could work really well, it's just that it will be slightly more time consuming on the long run than just twisting the key from the neck part.

I really hope they provide pictures soon!!!

Ive worked on souldoll, soom, DOD and pipos with no truble at all. but my twins? *sigh*... im on the ninth attempt on a faceup up and the msc wont settle. just finished them and they started crumble

I rubb and scrub a lot to make sure there wont be anything left on theire faces...

 

Me too because if I like her I think I am going to bump up my order to count. However if I don't I know that I can spend my money else where (like new clothes for my incoming doll) and have the bonus of having my order come quicker. But if I like her I think I am probably really going to want her, because I know what I would do with her.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the Juri head as well. Though I guess it wont matter much since I already have it included in my order. I feel bad for fairyland being so backlogged on orders though. So I know I wont be seeing my girl till December. At least that gives time for all her stuff to arrive before her. XD
Since she's my first doll I had no problem reaching the 600 mark by just adding hands to the order. I would have gotten them anyway because I like variety with posing.

I think to make my order count I would just by the high healed feet and an extra pair of hands. However I am only going to do that if I like the doll since I would be worried about the delay it would cause to my order.

Is she your first BJD, or your first FL doll? The extra hands are really cool any way, I think they can help with the emotions and expressions of the dolls. So how come you won't see the order till December if you don't mind me asking? That is 6 months away.
