katelauren: Hehe, can't say I blame you, she's a cutie. Didn't fit any of my characters, sadly. What bust size did you get with her? I ordered a Woosoo Vamp for my M-line, she's going to swap busts with my Mirwen because M-line + cutie bust = ADORBS!

Renske129: Congrats~ Love the rich brown of her wig! She'll definitely make a lovely sister for Juri. I adore my Siean, though I'm starting to think I'm the only one who made hers into a boy... XD I'd share him but he's still waiting for his wig and eyes :C

Seriously debating that wig though. I both love it and hate it. The style is so unruly that the stray hairs kind of ruined the photoshoot. Plus I'm sort of wondering if I wouldn't like her with more of a natural blonde.

ArvanahModray - Yup, I made it Thanks so much! As it's only the second thing I've ever made in this size I'm not sure yet if I will ever put anything MNF sized in my shop aside from fingerknitted scarves. It's much trial and error, lol. But who knows, with practice... Your girl is adorable!! Now I really can't wait for my Luka head to arrive!!

 

Wig wax is an amazing product. Most of my kids have mohair or Monique-made wigs, so the flyaways are a real pain! I picked up some wig wax in a few different hold strengths (from SOOM, I think), and it's made a world of difference!

Your Ember is super adorable. What spa did she visit? And what eyes are those? They have really great depth!

 

ArvanahModray - oh wow she's gorgeous! I actually really love the white wig because it's different, but blonde would be pretty too.

I'm wishing and waiting for my Shushu to come home again. I sent her out last week to get her faceup, after only having her home for less than 24 hours... Her body is waiting in the box and is still sitting in my living room. *SIGH* I just have to remember that she will be so pretty when she gets home.

 

Well, whenever they do a Juri head...if it is MNF I at least hope it isn't until much later in the year, when I can get some dolls AND hopefully it'll be a cute Juri.

I just realized I messed-up and ordered the Glamour bust instead of the Full bust. I'm legit trying not to get all teary-eyed about it since I ordered from DDE and it's too late to do anything. *sigh* That's what I get for not paying complete attention. :-(

 

Send them an e-mail. They will get it fixed, trust me.

 

Wennie: Wow, you really have a natural knack for it then! Congrats on your Luka! Mine was a total accident, actually. I purchased her from cineflix not entirely sure what I was going to do with the head but needing a slightly older body for my Shushu. Since then, my Shushu head has been in a box and pretty much phased out of any immediate plans. I just fell in love with Luka.

Lyzrd: Thank you~! I love her so much! She wears Dollshe 14mm Khaki eyes, and was painted by the amazing maiya of Dipole Moment. I actually ordered some wig wax from Leekeworld and have been super excited about it, but now they're telling me it's out of stock even though it was already in my order. *sobs*

alayaya: Thanks so much! I do like the light on her, it gives her this ethereal quality, but I have this thing about wanting all my characters to have a variety of hair colors and styles, and my tan Rheia is going to have bleach blonde pale hair too, which is not up for negotiation because she wil be a specific character.

malvagitabella: Oh no! I'd be sobbing, trust me. But DDE are so amazing, I bet they'll understand and get it fixed for you. I don't even order direct from Fairyland anymore. Even though it takes longer, DDE is just such a dream to work with! I bet what tripped you up is that when they set up the order form for the M-line, they had listed the options as Glamour Bust and Large Bust, instead of calling it Full. I only wanted Glamour for my gals, but the slip-up still caught my eye.

It is worth dropping an E-mail to see if they can do anything, you never know they might be able to fix it. I hope you can get it sorted.

 

TBH, those of you who ordered from DDE who have got the response that it's too late could argue that they didn't list the bust sizes properly so you got confused, as Large and Glamour makes you think the Glamour is the bigger of the two. Unless FL have started making your dolls I don't think it would be much to ask that DDE contacts them about the mistake.

Now if DDE had listed them properly you'd have no choice, but they didn't. So really it's on them for confusing their customers.

There is Mirwen on the Moe-line body in the Waiting room! So cute!

 

I messaged them telling them what you said, maybe there's a glimmer of a chance? But I doubt it since they already said they couldn't once

 

The problem might be that DDE puts in a lot of orders and FL writes them all down as DDE's orders, so they can't exactly tell them "Between the 100 orders I made, the one with the full/glamour was supposed to be the opposite" as FL won't know which to fix.

Can't wait to see the M-line Mirwen here, dying to see what this body looks like clothed, compared to the A-line.

 

I think it is always worth trying because at worse they can only say no, but there is a chance the might fix it. We all have order numbers so there are ways of keeping them separate from each other.

 

I'm not saying it's not worth a try, I'm just saying why they might say no XD And while you have number orders, maybe DDE passes the orders to FL altogether and not one by one? >_<; I'm just saying though Dx

 

It is a fair point, and with them already placing the order I can see why the might say no. Plus it seems a few people have got confused when they have ordered though DDE.

 

I was just hoping they could point out "Oh one Tan skin M-line Celine should be changed to Full bust" haha X)

 

More often than not they can. They do input their Saturday orders as one large order, but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to send exactly something like what PuffyPuffers said to FL and ask them to change one of the dolls. At the worst, all they can say is no and you might have to find someone to swap busts with. But it's always worth a try just in case it's early enough for them to change the order.

 

Thank you, you guys, for your input. I went ahead and emailed them. I figured, at worst they would say no and, if they do, maybe I can try contacting FL directly and asking them. I just feel so silly but I had this exact vision in my head and I'm feeling very stubborn about rearranging it. But, if neither companies can do anything, I will just suck it up. I did honestly get confused at ordering and I was definitely so excited that I just placed the order without triple checking it. That's no excuse, I feel, so I'm willing to take this mistake on myself. But I am so hoping one of them can help me. *crosses fingers*

 

Yeah it's a problem, but while I would say it's wise to double check when ordering, it's not helpful when DDE has them listed wrong as it's confusing. And like PuffyPuffers said even if they have multiples of the same doll just asking if they could change one of them to a different bust it isn't that much of an issue, is it? I mean if FL say no then there's not much DDE can do obviously, but if DDE refuses to even ask then that's just poor customer service, especially since they listed them wrong. (I wouldn't say that if they listed them correctly, because then it's the customers fault and any effort on their part to switch isn't a guarantee).

 

wait DDE posted the bust sizes wrong? i see "full bust" as the largest size on both DDE and fairylands website. i ordered an M line rheia with the full bust from DDE and i really hope that means im going to receive the new largest bust option

 

I just got an email from DDE stating they will try to contact them to make the change and let me know what they say! I will now go back to crossing my fingers! But I am definitely feeling more hopeful than I did last night.

I think they were posted wrong at first but I'm not sure because I can't remember that far back. I could've sworn it said "large bust" instead of "full bust" at the time but I could be mistaken. Regardless, the "full bust" is the one you want if you want the largest bust option so you should be perfectly fine!

"Nothing has changed. The large/full bust has always been the largest bust. The glamour has always been the small bust. What is your full name so I can check the order.

Oooh how do you pronounce her name. Cause...I keep pronouncing it like the Spanish "hombre". xD Annd....I don't think that is how it is supposed to sound.

YAY! AN M-LINE! Hm...I guess it wouldn't matter since it's the 1st now, but hey, I'm still glad I didn't want one.

 

It's pronounced Ahm-Bray ^ ^ It's a term for "faded" hair.

 

When they were in stock the bust options from DDE were "Glamour Bust" and "Large Bust". Now since A-Line has a Large bust which looks very similar in size to the Glamour bust (the difference is about .5cm, which I didn't know until it was pointed out to me ), and because Glamour bust usually is the biggest size people must have thought the large bust (ie, Glamour Bust) was the smaller one because they may have thought it was the same as the A-Line. So they ordered Glamour Bust think it was the Full Bust (listed as Large).

It's all very confusing, but could have been avoided if DDE had them listed properly.

ETA: OMG M-LINE! :O It's actually really cute! I thought FL would have made a slightly smaller box for them but I guess it's not a big deal since it's not much smaller. :P

Trinity - Ombre is gorgeous. I love her face tattoo.

 

She's so cute! And she can stand on one foot! I can't even deal with that, I still do not have a doll that can do that. She looks so tiny, I'm glad I went M-Line for my girl, wrong bust or no.

And I'm wondering if now DDE is trying to contact FL, after saying there was nothing they could do, simply because of how many people are coming forth stating they had chosen the wrong option. I feel glad that I'm not the only one but also annoyed that it even happened in the first place. Boo!

 

Oooohh how exciting! I really hope we start seeing more of them. I am very interested in owner pictures and thoughts on the doll!

I feel bad being so pushy, but even if there is a glimmer of hope, I'd rather try earlier than have to end up swapping with another bust later. But looking at Wynn's M-Line, the glamour bust doesn't seem too bad.

 

I had no confusion when I ordered my M-line back in May, honestly. They had pictures up with the names they were using on the pictures, so I knew which bust to choose. I double checked with their pictures AND Fairyland's site when I ordered so I made sure I was getting the right bust size.

I'm really glad they're trying to do right by their customers because some people found it confusing, but if there's nothing they can do about it, it's not really their fault. They've always had the bust options up with the exact same wording as Fairyland's website as far as I'm aware. Sorry that it might have been confusing for some people, but hopefully it can get worked out if it hasn't been too long.

 

I love how tiny she looks too, I'm so excited I went for this body. It's perfect for my character!!

I'd definitely like to see more owner pics! Especially of different sculpt on this body, because imo the Mirwen head does look a tad big for the body. I do lke the bust a lot more than I thought I would and OMG those teensie feet!!

Considering how many people made the same mistake, it must not have been that clear. DDE sound a bit dismissive to me, but that might just be me not liking them since they never reply to my e-mails. I sincerely hope they can help you fix it!

Panchita is my sleeping Chloe head. She got modify to have open eyes and a face up by ban sidhe. She did and amazing job. I love her so much all she need now is a body.

I am very excited too, I didn't think it looked big IMO but mind you I do kind of like an anime look to my dolls any way. RS also have fairly big heads. I am getting a Karsh on that body, however mine isn't going to get home until September-ish. I think seeing other M-line dolls is going to make me excited though.

 

I'm glad they're making an effort, since FL lets people change their orders individually all the time. I know it would be difficult, but doable.

I'm going to try and swap my bust out too, I just wanted the Glamour bust in case no one wants to swap for a cutie or small bust.

Ooh, a Karsh on that body. I'm so looking forward to that! Mine will be the Ante and I'm so curious what she'll look like since there are no owner pics of that sculpt yet! A bigger head would be okay I guess, since my character is a hamster and hamsters have sort of big heads, lol. But it doesn't really look big in the company pics. The tiny feet and small frame are definitely perfect compared to my other girls. I can't wait, but she probably won't be here before Octobre or something...

She's just absolutely perfect. Ban really did an amazing job on her!

 

I am not keeping the tiny feet for mine though. I bought the MNF feet because I wanted her to have the same size feet as all my other dolls, so I don't have to worry about buying her shoes. If I can I prefer my dolls to be able to share things. I don't plan on selling the smaller feet or anything though, so I can keep them as spares or something. I am a little worried about the fact the feet are magnetic to be fair and I might lose them or something.

It is cute that she is going to be a hamster. Is she going to have cute little hamster ears?

I love the fact the new body is so tiny too since she is going to be a Dragon Age Elf and they are tiny compared to humans. So character wise she will scale nicely with my other dolls. Which is why I am pretty excited about the M-line body because it just seems pretty perfect for that. I also like the fact they got rid of the waist joint, since I think it can look nicer without and the extra joint doesn't seem to do that much on the A-line IMO.

 

Just saw the M-Line! She's adorable. The head size looks fine to me but when I did a superimposition of the M-Line pics head and Celine's head the M-Line's was slightly smaller.

ETA: I can't wait to see one with a boy! The height difference is just what I'm looking for.

Mine will be sharing shoes with my YoSD's I'm not sure about the hamster ears though, I think she'd have to have a pair. But they would have to be perfect and I haven't yet started the search, lol. I spent 10 days, making my order, adding to cart and never submitting. I had my order memorized and i knew i wanted the largest bust, i'm really surprised if i made that same mistake for 10 days straight @.@
I could have simply just forgot to select the drop menu in all my excitement though.
I also had to email them and tell them they forgot to add Tan to the optional mag hand options lol... kept checking each day and waiting for tan to be added xD

It doesn't surprise me that she will be sharing with Yo-SD dolls. I only own MSDs though and that is all I plan to own. I can see why you would want perfect ears for your girl. Hopefully you will get her the way you want her.

I am not sure what the A-line joint does either. I think that it would look better without it. I think the body sounds perfect too. I am very excited about the whole thing. I have been making her clothes while I have been waiting. I am hoping that she will have a few outfits before she gets home.

Hi everyone, I wanted to show off my first minifee Celine. I decided to name her Margo Lyn.

 

Congrats SugarxPop & Brenay on the new dollies! I'm still excitedly waiting for my girls, Bambi, Pommy, & Nemii to return home from getting face-ups! 8)

 

Oh! Just to make note, I definitely do NOT blame DDE for the error. I can see how it happened to me and others, in the end, but, at the end of the day, it was on me to pay full attention to the pics and the options. I even explained in my email that it was on me because, truth be told, I was so excited to order my first MNF that I was kinda clueless about ordering. All the dolls I've ordered before only had two options: resin color and faceup. Choosing option parts and bust sizes and whatnot really threw me for a loop. I hope they understand that I completely take the blame and, if they can help me, great! If they can't, I will deal with what I ordered. She will be beautiful regardless and I just know I'll be happy with her. XD

when are we speculating that DDE changed them back to be listed properly? very recently? a few weeks back? i only submitted my order on june 3rd i believe but at that point i do not think they had changed the pictures at all. the large bust option was still the glamor bust and the new "corset style" super large was still "full bust" because i made sure to double check that i was getting the right one because i had thought glamor would be the name of the largest so i stared at those pictures for a minute or two.

if anyone that ordered earlier than i did could remember and chime in we might be able to pin point when/if they really did change the way they were listed on their website.

crossing my fingers things turn out ok for everyone who ordered. its especially frustrating considering we dont know if or when the M line will be back. im really hoping it doesnt turn out like the chic line

Just to note I am trying to play devil's advocate by saying DDE should try and help due to labelling their options wrong. As when I went to their page although that was a problem, there was a huge photo that showed the bust sizes that hit me in the face, and if I was confused as to why it was listed as large instead of full I personally would have contacted them. I'm one of those people that can't rush through an order, especially when I'm paying so much! I have to meticulously check everything to make sure. Hell I just placed my order with FL recently which I checked thoroughly before ordering, and later on I kept thinking I hadn't checked the right head or skin colour.

And I'm only saying DDE should try and help as it doesn't seem anyone ordering from FL has made this mistake? Or am I wrong? Just seems the labelling confused people, but yeah it does work both ways.

Andreja - Thank you for this! I'm definitely sold on the full bust now and the M-line comparison (feet and body) was really helpful. I actually like the little chubby feet.

I am hoping to see someone switch the busts around to make sure there's no issues doing so. And my God has anyone seen the June waiting list? XD
