I can't personally vouch for flats but the mary jane style shoes from Debs Adorables on the bay of evil are an excellent fit and look great.

I have a Chloe! I took some new pictures of her today~!

 

HUZZAH! SO! I was going to post about this. I went to DDE today to try out some glass eyes in my PKF Zio and they had a Siean head in the store that they very graciously let me man-handle a bit (I just wanted to try different sizes of eyes in her face to see what size I wanted to buy for her since I have one coming home). Glib eyes are very round, so even 12s will probably gap in her eyes, but they are still too big.

Personally, I think she has a size 11mm eye well... The 10s I used that were a nice glass (but not paperweight or oval) fit in her eye socket and had a _GREAT_ look to them, but there was just the tiniest bit of a gap in the corners which made me irrevocably sad. So I ended up buying some 12s for when she gets home, because they fit a lot better. The irises are still kind of big, but they looked a lot better and no gapping. I'm now very worried the 14s I bought for my Mirwen are going to be too big. XD But hopefully DDE will let me exchange them when she gets here; I'll just have to take them with me when I go to pick her up!

Anyway, I hope that helps. I tried 14s, 12s, AND 10s in the Siean and the 10s looked the best iris-wise (I like dolls with smaller eyes as they look older), but the 12s fit the best. The 14s were WAY too big. Like, super really way too big. Almost no white in the eyes. So anyone getting and keeping a Siean, buy some 12s (but probably not super round acrylic eyes, get something a bit more ovally or bulbous like a pair of glass eyes if you wanna go with 12s). Hope that helps!

 

Barging in here with another eye question: What size is recomended for Rena? She came with a pair but I'd like to try a different color and i am hopeless at making eye decisions. Any help would be very appreciated.

 

Oooh I put 14s in my Siean and I like them just fine. xD I use 14s for all my MNF.

Thanks! I think she would probably look older with 12s. She needs to make up her mind about her age before she gets new eyes She's going back and forth from a cutie bust - looks like an adorable tweenie nerd, and large bust hotie look.

 

My Cisallie (Rena) wears 12mm and I love them. I think smaller eye sizes compliment Rena's HUGE eyes holes in a realistic way ^^ She originally came with these (size 16mm?) and they were just waaaaay too big for her.

Ok, 12s it is I think. Mine kind of has the alien look going on now - I found a pair I already had in the right color and they fit the opening but she looks like a Sci Fi movie extra so they must be really big.

Weighing back in on the Siean eye size. I took a photo with a 14 mm eye in one eye hole and a 12 mm in the other, so people can see the difference. The 14 mm is a glass eye and the 12 mm is a Glib acrylic, so it's sort of comparing apples to oranges, but you get the general idea. The 12 looks slightly gappy, partly because the light is coming from a window to the left of the photo. I think eyelashes would minimize that apparent gap. I also tried (but did not photograph) Eyeco 11 mm eyes. They fit, but the iris is quite small. I say go for it if you like a more adult look.

My payment was confirmed...I have a Breakaway head coming in again. One of my biggest doll-regrets was selling off that first set, I'm happy to finally have it back (only in WS and just the SP head, which is all I want now anyway XD)!

I did! But she probably won't be here until around the end of June since I ordered in March from DDE. I quite admired her in her larger forms and looking at pictures on flickr, I liked her in WS better since with a lot of the more dramatic faceups people were giving her (and I plan on giving her) the WS just looked so ethereal and pretty. That's why I finally made the decision to participate in the event rather than try and get her secondhand, I figured next to nobody would get her in WS. On a semi-related note, there's another mnf Siean with a faceup on flickr! And she looks amazing. I don't really like the way she looks blank and I took a bit of a risk getting her, but seeing what people are doing with her and the potential she has is awesome.

Thanks for the advice on eyes, everyone! I guess I'll get 14mm for her with a really small iris.

 

Did you order directly from FL? Even if you ordered through DDE you might be able to ask them if they can switch out the head for a WS one instead of a NS one (unless you already got yours in). But I'd contact whomever you ordered with and see if it's possible to switch for a WS head.

I somehow missed this. I second Summomo on Etsy, I just bought a pair of sandals and a pair of flats from her. Great quality, super cute. ALSO, Denver Doll and Doll in Style have this great partnership for clothes, and DiS is now also making shoes for MNFs! http://denverdoll.com/dollinstyleshoes.php The top ones fit the MNF feet, the bottom ones are a little smaller. I have a feeling they will fit the M-line bodies (or at least, I'm hoping, haha). I think there's supposed to be some other ones in the works for DDE as well, but I checked those shoes out yesterday while I was there. Super affordable, and -really- high quality. Like, I wish my feet were that small because it seemed like those shoes would be super comfortable, haha.


Also, Andreja, you just make me jealous with your gorgeous dolls all the time! LOL

I got it from jpopdolls.net like almost 6 years ago. It was a color called cherry blue, or blue cherry. Unfortunately they don't sell it anymore, the closest thing they have is a color called Sky, but its a pale pink with blue streaks rather than hot pink. It was originally a jojo or kana style mid back length wig, but over the years it's suffered quite a few bad haircuts. xD

ok... is anyone planning on getting the M line body for a sculpt other than siean? im also guilty as that is who i have decided will have it. it must be the plump/curvey facial features that make us all see her going so well on that body. i had pondered giving it to my rhiea but decided shes good on a large bust A line in the end.

i did! all of my minifee's are WS i love it and im especially excited for pale elf dolls.

i asked that she still have the same moody/worried expression the default had because i wanted her to still look like the rumor ive bonded with, just with better coloring. i couldn't be happier with the result.

I ordered an M-line Celine, but I'm undecided if she'll keep the body or if I'll give it to my Miyu

 

I ordered a Luka head on my M-line, still haven't received an invoice from DDE, I guess they're pretty busy with all the FL orders.

 

If I had an infinite amount of money I'd get a vamp woosoo on the M line, but only if they had a much smaller breast option. The two available right now are still too big for my tastes.

 

I want to get the M-Line for my Miyu. Would swap the bust for my Chloe (so Miyu would have small bust and Chloe the Full Bust) but I don't know if I'll have the money in time.

 

I'll be putting my KDF mod heads onto my Moe bodies, so you guys probably won't see their adorable faces unless I spam them with my incoming Celine head hehe~ But Celine will be the same skintone as my Moe girls, so I could do some switch-a-roo things and spam her a bit on the Moe body to get some more variety in here! xD

 

I kinda really want to get a M-line for my Rena but I don't think I should at the moment, money wise. I might wait to see if they release them again. It'll be fun seeing a bit more body diversity in here though!

 

I would definitely consider buying a Celine with the M-line body in glamour bust. It would be very cute!!!

 

I am getting Mirwen on the M-line body; she'll be my first minifee so there will be no body swaps unless a sister or brother comes along one day. Which I am sure they will; I just have several others above them on the waiting list!

As always, I adore Mao - the doll that makes me want a Mirwen sculpt!

 

Thank you all for the comments on Sparrow. I will be looking for a new wig for him as I didn't care for any of the ones I have. I'll probably try and find a light brown one but we'll see. I forgot to mention that he is wearing 12mm eyes. The 14s I tried left no white showing at all and I don't like the alien look myself.
