Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 32

I think they're just suffering the effects of all these back to back events. I don't think they expected the Siean/Yder event to be quite as popular as it was!
I too am worried about just how temporary the temporary discontinuation of the M-line is as well. So I caved and ordered an M-line Celine. Ordering a full doll doesn't help my poor floating Nanuri head problem, but for only about $30 more for a full doll vs just a body... It doesn't really seem worth it! I'm really not expecting to see her until early August haha

 

I need to get started on some freelance work so I can buy the two bodies I wanted and swap the busts around, I'll probably also do what karrigankat did and just order the heads for myself too, since there are a couple of heads I want to get. Just need to get started!

 

Fairyland "Temporarily listed as sold out" the F70 line in May of 2011. That was 2 years ago. So.....who knows. I decided not to wait, and ordered a Moe Luka.

 

They might need to think about that, or start holding pre-orders.
They did have an insane event filled anniversary year I'm actually surprised they put out the Feeple guy so soon.

I hope they don't hold off on the M-line indefinitely because I do want one

We regret to announce that the sale of Yrin and Fine Muscular Body is to be postponed until further notice. Unfortunately this news arrived after the product pages became available for sale, and during a very hasty move to make all relevant product pages unavailable our previous notice regarding the release and event were removed by accident. We apologize for any confusions this may have caused as well.

FeePle60 Yrin Full Package (Undead Hunter) sale and promotional event involving Yrin Wounded Head is also being postponed.
Release schedule for Fine Muscular Body is undecided at this stage.

FeePle60 male and female A la Carte pages will become available again shortly after Yrin head and Fine Muscular Body options are removed.

Customers who have already placed orders containing Yrin, Fine Muscular Body and/or being eligible for Yrin Wounded Head will receive an individual emails shortly.

Fairyland seems to be a bit in over their heads right now XD Hopefully after the events and these new releases, they'll take a break on producing anything new for a few months to let things slow down a bit.

I did really want the M-Line body, but after thinking it through, the character I just put on layaway needs a small chest and I don't have the funds right now to order the A-Line with the small bust to switch them around. I wish I did, though, because then I could have a body that needs a head and it would give me an excuse to get one and shell another character :P

Anyways, I was trying to hold out and see if there were going to be any more events before ordering my new dollies. Buttttt. After seeing some more recent Chloe spam I caved and ordered one yesterday! I'm soo excited!

 

At first I was really excited about the M-line body and started planning a character for when they brought out the smaller bust size. But now I think that height would be too close to the Iplehouse KID I have. My activeline MNF girl isn't even all that much taller and can in fact wear the same clothes as my KID so I think I'm going to pass on this one.

So I changed my mind after all and changed my order from MNF Celine on Moe line body to just the body. I have a sleeping Chloe head incoming and I want her to have a body as soon as possible, so the M-line body will be for her. I can have a Celine some other time Because I really don't need more floating heads now.

 

Yes, I found them while out shopping. I am so happy with them! I have a red one and a blue one.

in other news i thought i was too late to snag a slot with a face up artist last month but as it turns out someone backed out, and i was next in line, i sent rumor and stormie out and they have been painted and im so anxious to have them back home and all put together, hopefully then i will have my camera back home and working so i can share pictures with you all.


im also hoping to place an order in a week or so for an M line body... but im having a hard time deciding which sculpt to get next... any suggestions?

 

I think Clhoe will look really cute on the moe body with those closed eyes ^-^

octobercrow - Congrats on Lyric's birthday/ anniversary! Yay! I am looking forward to see your crew all together again! I wish I could get an M-line before they stop making them for the undetermined amount of time. If I could I would get a Celine, not just because she's the newer sculpt, but she looks so darn pretty, and I think she would fit in perfectly with your existing crew!

Tina - As always, Zephii looks gorgeous! I can't wait to see how Bambi will look.

 

Well I caved and decided to order an M-line Luka on 4 part layaway but there was something up with DDE's shopping cart (it didn't list my doll correctly and the price was off too) so I e-mailed them and hopefully I'll be able to order her tomorrow.

 

I really like that wig on her! Haha and yes...I don't want the body, but hopefully can manage to find a bust piece. XD

I've been having a couple issues with them lately. I have no idea what's been up. Hopefully you can get her. :3

 

I actually need to email them and find out if they're participating in the free-event-item for the m-line a la carte that FL is running (since the option isn't on their a la carte page for the M-line). Going to bite the bullet and order one, with two Mirwen heads that my friend is actually going to get (I just wanted the body). Will be putting her on layaway, most likely. But at least my incoming Siean head will have a body fairly shortly after I get her, so that's cool.

 

I think that ended on the 12th, I was a bit disappointed that I missed it

 

Octobercrow - looks like Lyric and Nyne have birthday's that are pretty close together - Nyne's birthday/anniversary is the 13th I haven't managed to get out and get any new pics of her - probably going to do birthday things with her over the weekend, but for the moment, here is some older Nyne spam:

It's funny thinking about how much her character has grown over the years since I've had her - new faceup, tattoos, and a storyline to go along with it. Don't tell the rest of my gang, but she is very close to being my favourite doll! But man, two years since she arrived. That's actually a really long time.

I wish I could get the fullset Moe Ante... but there's no way I can get that money in time Maybe I'll just wait to get the MNF Ante on the A-line body since (thankfully) they're not putting the Ante sculpt on hold like they are the Moe body.

Man, here I thought the Minifee thread was just quiet. I had no idea we started a new discussion, and on page eleven already! Everyone's dolls are looking wonderful! Glad to see the conversation didn't go inactive.

My second Juri 11 arrived yesterday. I haven't painted him yet, and he doesn't have a body, but his name is Marvel. Anyone else get some new dolls? How about painted Siean elves?

 

No Sieans here, but I went on a bit of a spree in the last few weeks of my pregnancy...so now I have a few more floaters than I intended! PLUS I'm expecting a Yder, if my order ever ships...

 

This is "LOL" to me since I'm pregnant and have been hitting the proverbial panic button where dolls are concerned.

And YAY for Minifee Ante!!!! It was one of my requests when they did their customer survey two? years back! FINALLY!

She was white skin - but the body had mellowed a fair amount so I put some yellows and pinks into her faceup to warm her up as well.

Put an M-line Mirwen on layaway. Friend wanted both heads (I already have an A-line Mirwen incoming, lol) and I really wanted the body for my Siean head, so... Didn't want to miss out!

I do have to say I think it's.. weird. The M-line didn't seem like it was going to be a huge seller... but as soon as they were like "we're discontinuing" everyone was like "Welp, better order now!" which I think did the exact opposite of what they'd want, since don't they want to speed up production and not be so busy? =/ Like, if they had just left it alone, I think they wouldn't have gotten as many orders as the May list is starting to get in the waiting room.

I was wondering if anyone that has both a female and a male none muscular Minifee body can help me ?

I was wondering if the body parts are interchangeable, I would like to have a male body that has a female torso, just the torso, he'll still have male pelvis and chest. Does anyone know if that would fit ? or even if Fairyland would allow such an order ?

 

All this Chloe spam is making me want a Chloe girl 0_0 I need to get a body for my Juri first >3< I was thinking of getting an M-line and putting my Rena on it, and moving my Rena's body across to my Juri.

I haven't taken photos for a while, and Layla was with me. I thought I'd share. I'm loving her a lot more with her new look.

I used to own a White Skin Chloe girl. She's now living with a friend of mine but I still have some old pictures of her I can share:

 

Not sure that is even doable with out serious modding given the shape/size of the torsos are probably (I assume I don't own a boy yet) very different but I hope some adventurous soul will take their dolls apart to find out for you.
While I can't help with that part of your question, I can tell you that the chances of FL itself letting you make such an order is very slim to a more probable none. You would probably have more luck buying a girl body secondhand on the marketplace and trying your luck at selling off the spare parts.

May I ask why you want to try this hybrid?

 

I was wondering if those who have gotten their Siean heads could tell me if 14 or 12mm eyes fit better for them? I was thinking of ordering a pair of 14mm eyes with the pupils of a 12mm one, but I'd like to make sure they would look okay first.

 

I would love to see more pictures of your boy! He's lovely, and I would love to know how the head fits on that body...was modding to the neck or head needed?

VampireAngel13, I had to mod his neck shorter (it's still long, even though I shortened it about 5mm), and I used a spare MNF head connector To be honest, I need to work on his resin match, but I have no time and the mis-match doesn't bother me right now
I'll take some more photos when I finish an outfit for him... poor boy is sitting naked all the time...

 

thanks for the reply, actually it's for my boyfriend, he wants to shell one of his characters that happens to be a very feminine looking male elf, he didn't think the standard body had enough hips, so I figured it would help to give him a female torso to accentuate them.

 

I tried both sizes on my Siean head. I definitely like 12 mm better, but then I prefer to see more white on either side of the eye. Her actual eye size appears to be smaller than the other Minifees' eyes, even smaller than my LittleFees' eyes! She doesn't have a faceup yet, so I didn't take photos. I can do that when I get home if no one else beats me to the punch.

 

I like 12 better but you still only see a small amount of white with them in. I would love to have some with an even smaller iris but the 10mm I tried were too gappy. I'll try to post a very poorly lit pic for you so you can see, she's still blank though. I apologize for the wall-eyedness in advance.



These are 12mm GLIB eyes that came with another doll that I bought. I've been debating on getting some ED eyes, but I don't know if I should stick with the 12mm or try to find a pair of eyes with a smaller iris. If you want to stick with the 12mm size get the 14's with the with 12 iris combo. As you can see, there is a little bit of putty peaking out.


Also, my Siean's head back is really loose, does anyone else have that problem?

I think you are exactly right - I think they are made to look as if she is wearing a good bra or corset as most people photograph their dolls in clothes
