...in fact, I think the tan MNF that I'm going to grab will be a Carl girl!

 

So, looking at Mirwen's what is everyone talking about when they say they have modded her eyebrows? I don't really see anything, but she does she have a large brow or something? Again, hard for me to tell. She does seem to have a little frown but that seems to be her lips??

 

From what I can tell, Mirwen has a fairly defined brow ridge that is prominent and kind of "sticks out" so most people sand it down a bit.

 

Shoot, so that means she can't be modded if she is in tan skin...boo!

 

I think Mirwen's brow is fine, ultimately her sculpt always is defined by how you shape her brows. It is quite possible to make the brow less noticeable with faceup. Personally I love the brow just how it is, gives her sculpt something really unique amongst MNF and allows for a greater androgyny. Don't let it stop you! More Mirwens will never be a bad thing, and tan would be heavenly! I am still wanting them to release Yder myself >,<

 

So I looked at actual pictures of Choco Pukis and realized the color might be darker than I initially thought... now I'm waffling... WHAT DO?

I don't think they will be as dark as the choco puki's, they made it sound like they will all be the same color as the new PKF's and LTF's. I'll try to find the post with this.

They did say the tan would be like the LFs. But maybe Friday they will post pics of the Mnfs? It would be nice to see the tan sculpts.

This will be the deciding factor on my next doll. Tan or not to tan?

Anyone have any Celines without a factory face up?

Trying to see which sculpt to pick for the tan girl! Right now, it's a toss up between Rheia, Luka, Chloe, and Celine I already ordered a NS Celine on the Moe body... but that would just give me an excuse to sell the head, get a tan Celine, and use the body for my Siean.

What to do?

 

PuffyPuffers: I personally like the idea of a tan Rheia or Luka for a female...which I'm trying to decide between grr. lol Buut I bet a Celine would just as cute with those little teeths.

Anyone who owns a Merwen, do you have any front, profile, and 3/4 shots? thanks!

 

I've narrowed my doll choices down to Shushu, Seorin and Karsh. I think I'll eventually get all three, but its hard to decide who to get first! I'm also worried about what everyone's saying about the quality >: should I hold off ordering for a while?

 

Urgh, I might have been safe from the tan littlefee and pukifee, but tan minifee? I don't know if I have enough willpower to not get in on that. I've been contemplating, and I may end up going with a tan Mirwen girl, possibly to be my Wynrith that I've been contemplating molds on for a few years now. I never envisioned Wynrith as tan, but then I'd never envisioned her as not tan, either, so I think it could work okay. Although I probably won't get in on a layaway or something until the end of August.

As for the Ani - I'm not a fan of anime heads, or really realistic either. It's why I always liked Fairyland; CP dolls have a good happy medium between very anime and very realistic. It might be interesting to see what others do with it, but I know I'm safe from it.

 

The Chocopuki/Luts release MNF & Delf tan is the old tan colour. It's definitely not going to be that colour. The new tan is a lot lighter and has been used with the Chiclines before this release of the PKF, LTF and MNF.

Tada! They will be the same as the LittleFee and PukiFee tan skin. Directly quoted from Fairyland so there's no confusion.

I think I'll be ordering a replacement for my Seorin... he's been such a project I don't ever give him love. A broken rescue from years ago x-x;; never felt confident enough to really repair.. I was going to dye him... but now that I can buy him in Tan, I might just get my Israel " rebooted "

I think I'm going to switch my plans entirely and get a tan Celine! I think she'd be super cute in tan!

 

Sorry for sounding like a complete noob, but is dreaming Marcia just the sleeping faceplate, or a completely different faceplate?
I ask because some time in the distant future I'd really like Mirwen and Dreaming Marcia boy twins ^-^;

 

With MNF's the sleeping version is a different head. When I sent my MNF Chloe away to get her face-up done I put my Shushu's head on her body for a little bit:



Although it weirded me out... However you could do twins that way since it is an extra head. Although the dreaming heads you only tend to be able to get them when you order that sculpt. It comes as an additional option for when you are ordering a doll. So you would probably have to have a look on the market place if it was for a sleeping head of a different sculpt.

 

I saw they give you a full head from box openings, and I'm not at all bothered buying Marcia's OE head too, I might even like it and use it later.
What I don't know is if dreaming Marcia is ACTUALLY the sleeping faceplate or not. > A <;

 

I'll be getting NS anyway, but people were saying a few pages back that there might be a drop in quality with all the limited stuff coming out. I assumed that might mean for all dolls from FL, stuff like seams and such? I'm not sure, I'm just nervy dropping a lot of money on a doll in case they rush through! I'd much rather wait longer and have it done nicely c:

Right OK, I thought that is what you were asking. I am not actually fully sure what you are asking now to be honest. Hopefully someone else might know.

 

Dreaming Marcia is the head you receive, not faceplate, if you order the sleeping head option when you order a Marcia through the a la carte menu.

 

Calabri, dreaming Marcia is the sleeping face. Marcia is probably the only MNF that has half-opened eyes as a sleeping head instead of the fully closed

Yes dreaming versions of a sculpt is usually a sleeping head that's modded. You can't get just heads at Fairyland but if you buy a full doll you can get both the OE head and the sleeping head. The sleeping head is a full head. If you just want the sleeping head - perhaps because you want it modded into a dreaming head - it's probably not hard at all to sell the OE head at the marketplace. There's plenty of people who can do mods for you. (You have to pay of course)



Now if I can find the money I want two tan PKFs, one tan LTF and one tan MNF. The tinies I know who I want but not the MNF. Perhaps a Mirwin but I'm not sure if I want it as a boy or girl. I always thought that it would be wonderful to have two Mirwins - one with Fairyland face-up and one with the brows modded and a much softer face-up. But I'd also really love a Rheia and a DES or a Karsh girl . . or a Woosoo Vampire Elf or . . . AUGH!

To add to Seorin spam-here is my modded Seorin -Darren. Ban did such a great job opening his eyes! I'm completely in love with this guy! He is supposed to be replacement for my Deen (open eyes Seorin) but now I think,maybe brothers? We'll see. I'm going to get tan Mirwen and PF Zoe so no funds for one more body.

I have really missed having a MiniFee around. It's raining today but I'm hoping I can get her faceup done sometime this week! She's becoming a new character than what I had originally planned so she'll need a new name too! I'm hoping to get Charlie a body at some point but I'm excited to be bring home a tan Minifee Celine and two tiny sisters tan PKF Vanilla and tan PKF Ante!

I spend a whole reading Harry Potter and I miss out on everything XD I'm absolutely loving everyone's spam and luckily I'm safe from the tan Minifees.

thedollyxx - Concerning doll characters, I do have a ton of characters in my mind since I write a lot of stories and such. I always set a certain character to a doll, but usually the doll changes it up a bit. For instance, my Ryeon is far from what I had originally planned for her, but my Juri '10 is just a bit more mature than I had planned. I also have a youtube I do mostly dolly videos on, CorpseDollyxx

I think Rheia would look great in tan. If I wasn't already totally infatuated with this girl, I would order a tan Rheia. I want a tan MNF but can't decide who. Mirwen is on my wish list but I think I would prefer her in NS. Maybe a tan Karsh boy???

Does anyone have any head on shots of Yder on a MNF body? (no wigs or head tilted back, just a straight on shot?)

I am trying to figure out how the Yder head looks on the body because I keep seeing Sieans and the head looks too large for the MNF body (impo) and I wanted to see if Yder has the same "problem"?

Any help would be appreciated :3

 

Calabri - You do NOT have to get Marcia's sleeping head modded to dreaming. When you order Marcia from fairyland with her 'sleeping' head, it will come to you as dreaming, so don't worry about having to get it modded. It IS dreaming.

The thing I'm wondering is if the new Puki/Littlefee/MNF tan is actually going to be as light as your Chicline tan. From the company photos they posted for the Puki/Littlefee event it certainly doesn't look like this new tan is quite as light as the chicline tan. Obviously all kinds of lighting, camera, editing, computer screen variations affecting that but it almost looks like this tan could be a fifth color variation stuck between the chicline tan and the old Delf tan.
Anyone else wish there where just a few more photos available to look at?
It'd be fantastic if FL would post a color comparison shot of some sort.

Edit: I wish I had saved a page of the doll they took down and postponed...it was going to be in tan too wasn't it?

 

Is it too early in your decision process to start singing the "One of us one of us" song (Do it get a Rheia! They are so versatile)? ^_^ And I was also wondering that too. The way they wrote about why they bumped up the tan release to "coincide" with the discontinuing of the Moe line body (for now only hopefully) it makes me think we wont get to choose it in tan. However I hope I am wrong and that we will be able to!

Elcia: I was thinking the same as you, the littlefee tan looks less orangy in color, and seems more ashy or red in color and a bit darker. I can't tell if it's just photo or screen differences either :C

Erratic Rhapsody, I agree Rheia has nice full lips. I also really think Mirwen does depending on how they are played up. Sue's Milla has wonderfully full lips

alogue, I have a Yder but he's with the face-up artist right now. I can tell you though, the Yder head is small!!!! I feel like his head is about the same as Mirwen, they both seem to have a tiny head to me. I hope that helps ^_^ I do have a picture of him on a body, but it was without a face-up yet. This picture isn't that great so pardon that ^_^

 

Ravenwolf:Oh thank you! No that information is helpful! I know a friend of mine was super interested in the head, so we were trying to find pictures of it on the body straight on... Siean seemed to be the more popular one this past event, so finding Yder pictures seems to be a bit of a challenge recently lol!

I'm really glad you mentioned this, Calmwater. I've messaged FL and asked them to switch my M-Line body to tan, and to change the sculpt, too? Wish me luck.. I hope they will agree. If not, I think it isn't meant to be

 

If they do add the tan option to the Moe line as well, then I'm sorely tempted to get a Moe body. I was thinking of getting a sleeping head with my regular tan MNF anyway to mod the eyes smaller. This would enable me to get a cute body then for the floating head!

 

I am happy you like it, I have posted her a fair few times. Her she is with her actual wig rather then Ki's. I only have the sleep head for Ico though because it was before the FL price rise when I bought her.

 

Amanda has her own wig now. I think my other girl Kloey was a bit upset that she was using the other one xD
