Damn I really like Yder............ hmmmmm I might have to see if I can get one. Or I'll wait and see if they pop up on the MP.

 

Eeep! just saw the event photos, I'm really loving Siean (IMHO her eyes look a little uneven, but that might be the photo) and Yder is cute, can't wait to place my order (I'll qualify for both heads and I'm only about $275 short now...)

 

eee! those two are amazing im glad they dont have uber long ears like my two Nanuri's (F60's) though ^^ although i love them to bits. makes beanies and hats an easier feat : ]

I really want to get a body for Siean...even though i said no more MNF bodies XP i cant do it though, if i add one in now im like $6 over the $1,000 mark and i know that FL marks packages down but i just cant risk it! >[

 

I love the Yder. I think he looks exactly like Yder! :3 Not sure about Siean. The eyes looks a little odd to me. But I love Yder! I don't think I can make an order though. :'( Will possibly have to see if he turns up in the MP in a few months.

I initially like the Yder head best. I wish I could do a photoshop mockup or something to see if that smile I sort of see is actually there...

 

I'm not too sure how I feel about the Siean head. I felt that her nose was too bulby & I thought maybe they got the heads mixed up. But then I checked her FeePle65 page & saw that the nose was the name. It looks better on the 65. I feel it is too big for a MNF nose. I'm not head over heals in love with her, but I'm interested. I think she would make an interesting addition to my crew since my other two MNF have more pointy noses. Gonna stare at the for a little more before deciding.

 

My day became so much better when my Minifee Marcia D (modded), my alien boy Um came back home.♥ I missed having a guy in my minifeecrew!


I really like the Valentinesday heads, the Yder looks really nice!

 

I'm debating on turning the Yder into a girl. I don't bond too well with boys. My only concern is making it a girl & then not being able to see it as a girl. I have that problem with my FeePle Juri 12. I had her face up done as a girl, but I sometimes see her as a guy still. But, looking at the Siean again & again, she really looks like a Mirwen with elf ears. I wasn't crazy about Mirwen, so I guess I do have an affinity for pointy noses. Looking at my collection, almost all my girls have them. I never noticed that about my taste in dolls before.

 

I don't do too well with boys either, Teslithia. It's frustrating cause I would love to have my Unoa's love interest as a doll but I just don't know. I'd been thinking if I kept Yder I'd make it a girl all along, but the second I saw Siean, I think it would make a really good boy.... ^^; I already placed my order a week ago, but I'm thinking these heads are gonna just hang around unpainted for a little while until I see more of what other people are doing with them.

 

Oh I totally missed this. WOW he's gorgeous!

 

Now I really can't wait for my Siean head to get here with my order! Right now she is planned to be paired with my incoming Karsh but we'll see when she gets here. I have a long wait to go and I'll probably change my mind a dozen times on what I want for her only to have her change it when she gets here.

 

So I took some photos of my new Ryeon yesterday! And using my new camera too! (Nothing fancy but it's pretty nice!).

The wig and eyes aren't final. I'm custom making a wig for her soon but it's not going to be her "default" wig, so I'm going through them. I think the eyes might work though. No name because I hate deciding on a name and then thinking of as better one. I'm also going to change her faceup once I can begin painting again so I'll most likely have a name for her then, I hope. I have to get her a new body too due to some issues that weren't disclosed.

Tried to go for a vintage look with my editing. I like it, but it's not perfect. Still learning a lot with Photoshop. XD She's very photogenic though.

 

I really like Yder. Won't be in on this event but I can't wait to see what people do with him.

 

I totally agree anthrogirl, Siean's eyes do look a little uneven but that's easily fixed with a little sanding and/or Milliput. I'm totally in love with this Siean head too because her eyes aren't huge and her nose doesn't have a pinch look to it. I had placed my order last week for the super cute pukifee Vanilla full package (which will be my first ever pukifee) and I had already picked the MNF Siean elf head for the event gift so I'm totally excited to receive all the fun goodies!

I really like both heads. Shoot I don't have enough for either as I only have enough to get my basic pukifee.

 

not knowing which was the boy/girl ahead of time i thought siean was the boy and yder the girl just looking at the blank heads. i really like the look of the siean head but i got way too many dolls in the christmas events and can't afford a $600 order right now its just too soon after christmas. why couldn't they save the elf for a summer event

 

I really like both heads but they wouldn't fit in my doll family. I'd like FL to release a human MNF Seian sculpt. If my tax return gets here soon enough, I might end up participating in the event. Maybe if I see the heads in person, I'll find a place for them... Sigh. I really like the Seian and I haven't managed to find a place for her in any size so far.

I really wanted to participate in the last Nanuri event (I collect Nanuri heads) and there were SIX Nanuri heads altogether! I feel so behind. But I didn't have any money at the time. It's very sad because the MNF Nanuri 2013 was really cute.

Also, I knew that Yder is a boy sculpt and Seian is a girl sculpt, because that's how they've been presented in previous versions, but what does it matter what they were supposed to be? The great things about dolls is that you can create them the way you see them! XD

 

I think both heads have some serious cute potential. I kind of think I want both, but I know I can afford to get both. I probably can't technically afford the 600 to get one, but I'm contemplating trying, ordering through DDE. I'm trying to figure out which would be better - to save my money now and try to find the heads on the MP later, or to by my F60 girl and get one head now and hope to get the second on the MP later. Either way, I need to get my F60 girl next anyway. I think I'd go with the Siean for now, although it would be awesome to have a mini Yder to go with my Elf Yder I already have. I could really make mini Konnel!

 

EilonwyG, I placed my order through DDE and they were awesome about setting up a layaway with me. I am starting a new job next month, so I will be able to pay them off much sooner, but to start with I could only afford a smaller payment for the first couple months and a layaway was just what I needed.

auntbear, don't feel bad; I knew the gender of the sculpts and I still think Yder has more girl potential and Siean looks like a boy.

I don't know what I'm going to do with the Yder yet. I'm wondering how an epoxy mod to make it a dreamy head would look... I have all kinds of ideas going around for Siean though. I had expected I was going to want the head for my old and rather cliche elf character, but seeing it now it doesn't fit her at all. But it would make such a lovely young elf boy... :3
Is it just me though, or do Siean's eyes look like they could use a tad of sanding down on the inside to smooth/even them out? O_o

 

Whew, okay so I'm safe from Sian & Yder. They're both lovely, but neither one fits any of my existing characters nor do they inspire me to create a character for them. However, I'm crazy interested to see what everybody will do with theirs & ready to enjoy them 'from afar' whenever they start arriving ^_^ More MNF is never a bad thing.

anjel: If you did get a Siean now, you could get her elf ears modded to human. I know there are some awesome modders on the boards that have done that for some other 'elfed' FL sculpts

 

Just got a peak at the event heads.. WHOOOOA LOOKIT THE CUTE EARS ON YDER!!! WAY ADORABLE! Awesome eye shape, too! Gonna be a super cute Minifee! Argh!

 

i love them both, i think i might want them both to be girls. i have not decided yet. im so excited about his order i cant wait for it to arrive. a MNF luka girl, siean and yder heads and pukifee vanilla! not to mention some extra hands (and high heeled feet) for all sizes. im going to have an excitment overload of course... now i will need to start saving for MNF bodies... crap. i hope some day i can save enough to bring home my mnf boys together without something else coming along and ruining my plans

 

This is sad, I don't like the heads much but, Yder looks more girly to me. So I like that one more? But yeah those lips are... Huge?
Im sad still that I had to cancel my order. That's alright no characters. I can't wait to see owner pictures.

 

gah I had just convinced myself I'd be just fine without Siean and now I'm even more conflicted than I was before.... Yder is also very cute (maybe a little too cute even for a male elf).
I love their ears. I have been scrutinizing every Feeple Siean I could find and perhaps it's just the photos but her ears seem to have a slight drooping curve to them however, both of minifee heads seem to be nearly identical to the DES ears I know and love. Then again Siean would look great as a human minifee, it's not like I "need" more elves.....

Just had a look at the Event heads (finally!) and I guess I'm save from them. I love elf ears and Yder is very cute, but I still love Eliya more. And I don't have $600 to spare at the moment ^^. Maybe I will order an Eliya later this year.

I'm glad I got both heads in my order now. I like the Yder head a lot more than I thought I would. The features fit the MNF face better than the F60 in my opinion.

Is it just me or do their eye openings look a bit rushed? Both heads have resin bits - like someone forgot to clean them before pictures. I hope Siean's eyes are even when FL sends them out too.

 

Aah~ I really like the Yder head, but dolls are way out of my budget at the moment...

Not to be an enabler but ears are easily de-elfed. Just sayin.

 

I definitely like the Yder head better as a mnf. I think the Sieann sculpt looks best in this size too. I have both coming, but the Sieann is a gift for my sister. Debating on whether to make Yder a girl or a boy. ^_^ I haven't had new mnfs in awhile, so I'm pretty stoked. No body for the Yder yet (he'll have to share with my vamp Chloe or with my sleeping Chloe girl).

true enough. im just working my way out of the fairyland hole i seem to have stumbled into lol. i like variety and the other day i looked around and i have almost all FL kids. its nice, but not what i want. i like the siean in the larger size better, the features seem to work better at that scale.

 

the Siean eye wells do look like they need to be filed but that's easily fixed - glad I get to see her in person. I believe she'll look a lot better with a faceup

 

Yeah, that's my plan. I think I can afford the payments, as long as I don't buy anything else. lol I'm pretty sure I'm still going to do it, I just won't be doing it until the very end of the event. No idea what the Siean will be, but she's cute.

I just have a soft spot for those lips.. they remind me of soom topaz's lips and ive been wanting a boy version for a while!

 

Does anyone know if DDE ships in any other ways than UPS? If you ask them? I'm thinking DDE for my order, too, but don't want UPS' horrible brokerage fees.

 

I think they ship USPS too, I'd definitely e-mail them as they're super nice and respond within 24 hours most times.

I've never had them ship anything to me UPS - they've always sent USPS for me. So you should have had no problem getting a different shipping method.

 

Oh, I live in Canada, and the last time I ordered, they sent my doll through UPS and I paid 140.00 in fees for a Minifee. So if thru send USPS, it should be cheaper. It the same amount for three.

 

Hi all, I'm new to Minifees so I have a silly question. Do the alacarte Minifees come with the same faceup as their fullset counterparts or is their a default faceup for all female alacarte Minifees?

Some of you may know I've been restoring a MNF Chloe. While working on her I was rather generously given a sleeping head (it's actually an NS head beneath all the paint), so here's what she looks like now that she's been finished and painted. Middle picture is how she began, she's come a long way. The only problem is her sleeping head throws into sharp relief the changes done to her face by repeated bouts of sanding. However she's still stupidly cute, so it's not a huge deal.

Looking at her is giving me the urge to get another MNF but darn it I told myself I would get a MNF DES if I passed my current chemistry lecture. I need the bribe frankly because chemistry is not my strong suit. Waiting sucks. lol

 

Wow Sakhmet, that's incredible work you did! What happened to her before? Poor thing, but she was lucky to find her way to you! She looks absolutely great now and so unique for a Chloe!

 

norahyah, she had been dyed blue, dyed tan, airbrushed tan, and coffee dyed tan by the time I got her. She's had an adventurous life! She's turned out wonderfully, and frankly I blame her for my want of another MNF. lol

i live in canada too and they always ship by mail. it depends on what shipping method you choose, so you may have accidentally chosen the wrong one last time. i've done that when i am reading too fast and read usps for ups and then get caught with those stupid brokerage fees!

she looks great now. i agree with ban it looks like her lips have been modded too as they are definitely finer than her sp. she is very unique and lovely that way.

 

As I understand it, they send most small packages through USPS (especially if it's within the US), but with larger packages like MiniFee, sometimes they'll use UPS. Not entirely sure how they decide... if it's by weight or by the size of the box.
