Quick request! I'm not sure if this is the right thread to do so, so sorry if I'm wrong ; ;!
Sometime ago i bought a Chloe, but had to sell her as soon as i got the package because of some family issues, i needed the money so yeah, then I saw this new Valentine's event and I'm pretty much going to buy a Chloe again I just wanted to order a wig with her, since shipping is expensive to here (Mexico) and i can't afford ordering from another site, The caracter I have in mind has pink hair and fairyland coincidentaly has the pink wig of Mirwen's FS avaliable, someone has amateur photos of it? In the photos it looks too orange... so i wasnt sure...

Hi Hi hello back to you Lyzrd thanks for the welcome back, yeah its been ages and I'll disappear again for a bit but man good timing coming back last week!!

I think Lentil mentioned holding out for a MNF Soony... I have wanted a Delf Soony for so long that I was prepared to sell my Soom vesuvia for one at one point but the thought that they might make a MNF Soony somewhere in the future would just be GOLD I tell you LOL. I have a long wait ahead for Celine but she'll be totally worth it though, by the time she gets here the renovations will be done on my studio so they will finally climb out of their boxes and onto proper shelves!!

I dont have that particular wig but I do have a Pukifee version using the same colour/fibre and its a true candy pink in person. in different light it changes ever so slightly as the strands/fibres seem to be almost translucent at times so if you have it in yellow/incandescent light it looks a peachy pink but in natural light its straight out cotton candy pink

 

I'd love to see a MNF Soony too, the first BJD that I really loved was a Delf Soony with custom face-up. it would be great to have a small version of her!

I got this wig with the Mirwen fullset. It's actually quite a lovely peachy pink color in person. I think this picture below was fairly accurate as far as colors go.. In person it might have a touch more pink.

My Mirwen wears Ellowyne clothes all the time. Tops, dresses, jackets, stretchy tights all fit. The pants/jeans I've tried don't. Shoes are high heeled. It's an Ello wig too. If she looks a little pouty, it's because she been asked to babysit again.

 

I think it's quite pink... not orange (you mean peach?). It's something between pink and peach.

I haven't been in a great dolly mindset for a while (evil brain gremlins), but I've got a new-ish friend, and he really likes my dolls (he treats them like people like I do, even though to him they don't have personalities etc, around me he acts like they are out of respect, its sweet) and he wants to take them to a big local abandoned historic monastary/papal school/wedding venue (its had a few experiences in its life!) and take photos of them there, and so I made her a new dress for the occassion! It has a gorgeous chapel, and I thought she should have something nice and pretty to go with the surroundings. I can't wait! He likes Nyne best of all too, she is letting it get to her head now I think!

 

@ second_banshee - I like your dolls face up. The glitter and the purple both go really nicely together and it has been done in a really tasteful way.

Oh, thanks whitewings, norahyah and Be-Life for responding I'm glad it's much pink-er in person than what I thought, yeah i guess "Peach" was a better term than orange XD sorry. I can now safely purchase it. Thanks!

 

I've been saying for sometime now how much I want a MNF Soony (and a LTF Soony because it would be adorable). However, Fairyland doesn't think there is enough interest in the Soony sculpt to even bring her over as a F60. More than one of us have received a reply that suggested that. Maybe if more of us kept bothering them about the Soony, we might get a MNF one!

 

What?! I've sent them two emails, both under different email accounts asking if they would bring back Soony for F60. And even asked on twitter. The last response I received from them said something along the lines of "We are going to put out a poll for people to vote on which one they like". And I know several other people have messaged them the same thing. I don't see how they say there's no interest in Soony. :/ A MNF Soony would be super, cute as well.

 

Does anyone have both Mirwen and Rheia preferably with custom face-ups? I've found a few blank photos, but none of them painted and together.

 

MNF Soony would be adorable! Maybe they are hesitant because some of the more big-eyed and cute "old school" MNF like Soo and Chiwoo aren't big sellers these days compared to newer popular ones like Chloe and Mirwen?

But hey, Yder is an older more stylized head, so it is a step in the right direction at least! He seems to have been overshadowed by Siean though so far. I would be ecstatic about MNF Elf Yder myself, but unless he is the cutest thing since kittens, I will be getting a Karsh as I would really love my little elf boy to have a sleeping head.

-wiggles impatiently- I am so excited to order my Minifee! But I want to see pics of the heads before I order so I'll know whether to get another body or not. Here's hoping that they put up pics of the event items before the event is over. ^^

 

Thanks for the kind words about my Layla! I think she looks great. She's definitely going to be around a lot more often now, and she has a gorgeous faceup to match as well on her sleeping face.

And as for Soony's... I think I have to be one of the biggest Soony advocates out there xD I absolutely want a MNF Soony as well and have messaged them about it for F60, MNF and LTF sizes... I want more Audrey's. *already imagining getting a MNF Soony and making a miniature of her Delf*

 

I wasn't the one that mentioned Soony I'm surprised Fairyland haven't released her yet though, I think she has a look that would fit in with their general style. I'd love to see them scale up Luna, if they matured her face a little I bet she'd be really pretty and dainty looking.

I am so excited for the Yder! But I'm a huge fan of the old school CP sculpts as well. I'm going to be getting both event heads. I'm so excited.

Ridley All my MNFs wear shoes from Deb's Adorables on Ebay. They wear the shoes made for 14" Kish, Lark, and Piper. Between her and Allstar's Wren, I might regret selling my Miyu head.

 

I'd honestly love to be able to see every sculpt in every size. I want to have a Siean in every size, a Mirwen in every size...at least I can get my matching set of Chloes from LTF up lol

I know this is a long shot, but has anyone tried putting the Ringdoll MSD Mech arm on a B-line MNF boy?

Ugh... I'm dying to have the Elf Yder, but there's no way I can place an order that big, especially when all I really need is NS bodies and I'd need the event head in white. I'm holding out hope for Yder to get added to the regular MNF line, so I can make a mini-Devon. Maybe someday!

To comfort myself, I jumped on an absolutely ridiculous deal on the marketplace and now have a MNF El back in the house! He's b-line, very yellowed and has some issues, but I like him anyway, even though I still don't think he looks much like the SD El. He may be getting a new faceup soon, his looks default and is in amazing condition but does have a few teeny marks here and there that will eventually bug me enough to wipe him.

Finn was thrilled, her boyfriend's here, and he arrived on Valentine's day! Here's Talyn and Finn!

My poor Chloe needs to be redone, I messed up her lips and UGH not happy. Shushu and Rheia are still sitting blank and waiting patiently for my attention. I have a good string of days off starting Friday, so I'm hoping this lovely warm weather holds up XD

AmyAngel, congrats on your El! I really love Els and did have a mnf El but he just wasn't quite what I wanted, and I realized that is because I've always loved
the SD El's face and the mnf one is just different.

Thanks! I had planned for Talyn to be a tan DZ Zo, but then this guy popped up on the marketplace, so he's a WS MNF El now. I'm glad it worked out! Finn does look pretty happy, she's been here forever it seems!

Thank you! I had a modded sleeping MNF El before and sold him, so i was wary of bringing in this one but he seems to be working out. His character is the younger brother of my SD size El, but other than group shots they won't be photographed together since they're in different scales. He's not THAT much younger, LOL! I do think they look similar but the MNF El looks more like the Delf Moon to me, the chin is different and the space between the nose and upper lip seems shorter or something. I love the Delf (and Feeple I guess, I've not seen many of him yet!) El sculpt much more!

Here's a better look at Talyn. He came with those eyes and I swear they look like DropRops to me, they're so pretty! If I end up doing what I had planned he'll end up with a mechanical arm and possibly one eye with gears and stuff in it, eventually.

 

I have had my Shushu sharing her body with a Chloe head for the past year or so. I have been on the lookout for a hybrid body for my DIM Larina, and I was lucky enough to buy a MNF body for her. But before I did the hybrid I put Chloe's head on the body. Looks good!

I'm confused by what you are stating because buying two bodies would get you into the event. You then can decide what event head you are qualified for and choose whether it is NS or WS. The bodies you purchase don't have to match the event head skin color. 2 bodies would put you over $600 and qualify you for the MNF Elf Yder head.

Or am I just misunderstanding what the problem is? DX

I think the event has its own separate listing. All of the various event listings are there on that page and you just pick the one that applies to you. Add it separately to your cart along with whatever else you are going to order. The event item itself shouldn't charge you.

 

Oh I know - the problem is I don't have enough $ for even ONE body right now (even before I bought my new MNF El, he was only $155 shipped with tons of extras!), much less enough to qualify for the event. And if I got the bodies I need (NS) and the event head in white, then it wouldn't have a body so I'd end up needing another one down the line, and I'm trying to get bodies for the floating heads not bring in another. Basically I'm just kind of whining because I want a MNF Yder but he's an event head only right now. Hopefully one will end up on the marketplace some day when I have a little money to spend, or he'll be made part of the regular line eventually.

 

I don't think that the MNF ala carte is enough money to get a MNF event head. You have to have $600 in your cart, I believe.

Oh. That is sad. You could have argued your way into simply buying a WS body instead of one of the NS and say it isn't another floating head, it's a full doll... but not enough money is a show stopper anyway you look at it. DX

 

AmyAngel - Your new El looks great. Those famous El eyebrows are lovely. I'm glad that you decided to buy him and give him a loving home. Els are so lovely with their hamster chins and long noses. Then again, I'm very very biased.

No event pictures yet, the FL Twitter person said it would be a few days (but that was a few days ago...) I'm hoping they'll be posted tonight (Monday in Korea) since I'm dying to see the Siean head!

 

I placed an order with FL for my Feeple60, so I'll be getting the Siean head ^o^ Need to think of a character for her!

so i placed an order for a minifee luka girl (and some option parts and a pukifee) in order to qualify for both event heads, i would have loved to have seen pictures first but oh well, im pretty sure im going to want the siean head (i love the feeple version) and im curious enough about the yder head i am getting both. and there goes my savings for my karsh and kyle boys. maybe next time lol

 

Drive by elf shushu spam. I decided to repaint my girl since I rarely pay any attention to her. She went from looking innocent, to looking like a murderous lolita from a horror movie, lol! It wasn't really my intention, but Mai has a case of the beauty greens as she is quite old and I was trying to choose color to minimize it. xD
