I'm loving Celine - I have a real thing for dolls with teeth and she fits the bill. I've been AWOL from the hobby for that long its taken me almost a week to read up on the new sculpts I have missed!

I agree with Rosslyn - the promo pictures are a bit oohlala for my tastes, there are elements of the outfit though that work for me though so I ordered her as a FS in BW through Denver Doll and chose Sian for the event head.... I hope that the Minifee version of Sian is in keeping with their usual - "child like" interpretation as they scale down the sculpts...? fingers crossed anyways!!

 

I had that happen once and they wouldn't just let me go and get it, they said I had to wait for it to be delivered. On the plus side at least she is very close to you know and you will have her very soon!

 

Me too! I keep hoping for a MNF Soony. (Also a LTF Soony...) I love dolls with teeth!

I'd love to have a Karsh someday, either MNF or Feeple but a Feeple Karsh with elf ears would seal the deal.

 

Oh man, I would be screwed if they made a MNF Soony...I'm in that boat of people that regret not getting a Soony when it was still available, and I'm too lazy/picky to buy a used one. XD I really wish they'd update with photos of the event heads; even if I'm not buying anything, I do want to know what I'll be able to snag on the marketplace in a year, hehe.

 

karla-chan Yeah I dont think they would let me call up and get her, but she should be delivered today, if she was in the post office yesterday then she should get on a truck today!

 

Most likely they will say you can't get her. In the UK they let you if you have been hit by customs because you can pay the charges in person. However if you don't get hit they say they have to take it to the address.

I do hope you get her today though!

I have a Delf Soony and I absolutely adore her. I would love to have a MNF Soony too. She's my favorite girl sculpt. Celine is close to her with her teeth and round face.

 

Friday and Karla: Whaat? You can't go get your package from the post? I know here in the US we can sometimes call or email(it's not really email but you send a message through the usps site) and put a hold on packages specifically so we can go pick them up.

Erratic Rhapsody We have to wait here in Australia. Although if you go away you can get all your packages and mail held and then pick it up when you get back. But thats about it sadly.

Woooow...so weird. I would probably kill my post service if that were the case. lol Then again...they are still really dumb sometimes too. I've only ever had problems since I moved here. And I think I might know why. My husband mentioned something about how WA is a huge hub for getting international orders and then sending them off to other states. I don't know if that's true or not. XD

But super cute! I'm glad she came. ^^ So, adorable.

 

I get frustrated with my local post office because I have two in the area. But then when my Madeleine (MNF Karsh) arrived, I realised that the hatch at the post office opens at 6 am which means I can pick stuff up before work

I keep checking for photos of the event heads. I am getting frustrated that they still haven't posted images!

 

Mee too!, I don´t know why they still keep the event head as a secret....I am sure people want to check them before making a decision about what to order or not. Also in the winter event they show very fast Naruri faceplate, I don´t know why they did not do the same now.

 

I'm not too worried about it. I just look at and compare the F60 and MNF sculpts that match. Then I look at the F65 sculpt and F60 sculpt of Seian. Then I look at the F60 version of the Yder. Now I know what the sculpts will look like. XD

 

xDDD Good idea anjelchan, I am not interested in event´s head but I know other people that they are dying to know how they will look like, that´s why I don´t understand FL´s delay.

 

They might still be sculpting them or producing them but they wanted to start the process of the event so they simply put up the event and will post pictures when they have the completed sculpts. They know what they are trying for with the sculpts and are probably perfecting them before they decide they are completely ready for consumers.

 

The delay is because of the Chinese new year. They are on vacation. I'm pretty eager to see them too, but I'm sure they will post photos once they get back.
Also, their twitter answered me about Celine & said she is most likely human version. If she was elf, it would be called elf Celine. Makes sense.

 

If it is by Parcelforce then no, you can only pick the item up if there is a custom fee to pay. Then you are allowed to pick it up in person. They can be frustrating to deal with. In the UK I know a lot of us call them Parcelfarce because of how annoying they can sometimes be.

That is cool, it is always nice when a doll gets through. And congrats on getting her!

I am a little frustrated too actually, and I am hoping I am not going to like her.

 

They told me on the CS board that they haven't been given photos to show to the public yet. I assume that means the production end of things hasn't provided the sales end with images. Either way it's driving me insane. My doll plans are totally up in the air and I sort of am terrible at being patient. LOL

 

Oh yes. How silly of me. I completely spaced the Lunar New Year. I know that DollHeart doesn't plan on being back to shipping and such until the 18th. I wonder when FL will be back to shipping...?

 

No idea, but as far as I know, if they don't ship my Chloe by the end of Feb I have to have her sent to a different address because we'll be living in temporary housing until my husband finally out processes from this base. Which will be about the middle of March if everything goes as planned, so I hope they ship her super soon and she doesn't stay in customs for a week like another head of mine did.... x.x

 

I got a shipping notice this morning (after my order had been on "before shipping" for several days) so I think they're back at least for shipping out completed orders.

Also: My Rheia is on her way to me! I'm so excited, I've wanted a Rheia forever!

 

Actually, by law they have to attempt a delivery first. And once you have a pink slip then you can call and have them re-deliver it on a specific day or go pick it up when the truck has returned to the post office. I asked if I could do this the other day with another head I was waiting on and that's exactly what the guy told me. This is also in the US, I can't say what goes on in the PO of other countries. xp
