Hi everybody! I'm Jenna *waves*

I'm going to be getting a MNF Ryeon in a month or two, and I'm just wondering what you all suggest for bust size, cutie or model legs, which hands to get, and what eye size you all prefer!! I've been looking through all the resources, I just want to know all of your opinions! My Ryeon will be on an active line body, I'm leaning towards small bust and cutie legs. Also, is there anything that I should know about MNFs? What is your least favorite thing about them?

jennabean, one concern I have with the cutie legs is in wearing boots. I'm finding that the backward curve of the cutie leg puts the knee too far forward when I put boots on my Karsh. This means that he can't stand straight. For a girl that wears mostly dresses and flat shoes, the cutie leg will work fine.

Guys, Luna is finally here!!! Her head is a bit yellower than Marcy's body, but I plan on getting her blushed when I send her out for a faceup. After all, I plan on saving for a new body for her. But for now, I actually like the faceup she has. I still haven't bought her her proper eyes (but I can't decide on a good shade of purple I'm looking for). I'll try to get pictures as soon as possible :3

Thank you I hope her story will be. She is based off a character in my favorite book series. When I got her she immediately screamed that was who she was. lol. I'm hoping to work on her story/background soon. I am fairly new to the hobby and am just getting all my girls figured out and hope to find tome to work on their stories soon.

I've had my girls for months now (one of them a whole year), and some of them don't have a conclusive/concrete backstory yet either - so I know what you mean. ^^ I was planning on sitting down and writting this summer, but it came and went, and now there is so much to do with school, and the kid, and all the other cool life stuff (a bit of sarcarsm! lol) - so yeah. But hope you get time soon to create lovely details for the backstories!

 

Hi Jenna! Awesome to know there'll be another Ryeon on the thread They're the best (I'm biased, clearly!)
For eyes, it kinda depends on the way you want their eyes to look - my ryeon Nyne originally had 16mm eyes (or 14mms with REALLY big irises, I never worked it out tbh!) Huge, I know, they were the ones she came with and I just adored the colour, so kept them in. This is her with them in ---> HERE
Now she wears some 12mms with realistic sized irises - I think they look a lot less 'away with the faeries', which I prefer for her character! She's in a leeke wig, and I got her a 6-6.5 wig, which is a tight fit, but it doesn't budge once its on, which I prefer cause I hate wigs that wiggle around and won't stay put!

jennabean - my ryeon wears 14mm eyes and I think the fit is just fine, but anything larger than that usually is a little too doe-eyed for me.
fl sends her with 16mm, but they send most of the mnf girls with 16mm and it's almost always too large.

this is an old-ish picture, but I don't actually seem to have a lot of pictures with her looking straight forward so I had to dig a little.

Thank you so much, MissCarrion and EleanorAnne!! All of this information is really helping me out. I'm hoping that I'll get this job that I applied for, and also that I'll get some money for my birthday in a few weeks, so hopefully I'll order my Ryeon in October or so.

@EleanorAnne I like 12mm-14mm eye more and I feel the same with 16mm eye. I have a Shushu and with 16mm eye, she look so uncanny >.<

Thanks Shuklyah! She'll eventually be more of a Mori girl, but I plan on having her be kind of a mixture between Mori and nature girl, so this works for a more casual style. She also has a pink mohair wig coming, but if that doesn't work, I'll be stuck for wig colors/styles...

jennabean - lena had the small bust and cutie legs, I just picked what suited her character best though because she is a preexisting character of mine.
I think the other bust sizes are nice though and the model legs are nice in their own right as well, I just like the super curvy shape of the cutie legs.

renearla - yeah shushu would do best with 12mm I think 'cause ryeon has quite a large eye shape and 14mm are just right/borderline too big for her, so 12mm would probably be just right for shushu.

My Shushu girls both wear 12mm. The one with the dark hair is a sleepy mod, so 12mms fit her best, and the blonde is a regular open-eyed. I really like that 12mms make them look more mature.

 

jennabean - Nyne is large bust and cutie legs, if it helps And Midorichan - we are definitely taking over, or trying to at least! I love the fact that Ryeons can look cute and adorable, as well as very cunning and cheeky, depending on the angle you photograph them at - Nyne always seems to have more expressions than my other dolls.

Lol xD everyone is asking this question and i really do not know... When i look at her, it does not look that bad but i think it is all together... The picture, the forehead and the wig. If i put the wig back, i can see the head cap and if i put the wig forward, i can not see her face-up v.v It is a wig with bangs but too long for her... I'm afraid of cutting her hair.

 

Hi everybody! I do not really know if this question belongs here, so please tell me if I'm doing wrong ^^

Anyway. How do you get past the neck-piece to loosen the strings on a minifee? Do you just pull the neck piece until you se the strings, or will she break if I do? I also wonder where the knots are, in the neck, or somewhere in her torso?

The reason I'm asking is because the's horribly hard strung. I normally just pull a few of the joints apart to check there things, but on her I can't.

 

My goodness, 5 pages in 2 days! I cant wait to go back and look at all the gorgeous spam!

Tintaglia yes my Haven Karsh is the default face-up. I do have another with a custom face-up though. Karsh is one of the only dolls I've liked the default face-up for..usually..and the person selling this head on the MP happened to have one that I really loved the smokiness of the eyeshadow on so I jumped on it

My girl was strung really tightly. I put her in the fetal position for a night and it helped a little. She's still strung tightly. You can try that to loosen the string a bit before trying to get the neck piece off. And if I'm not mistaken, the knot is in the torso area.

She's so cute :3 I had planned on Luna to have some mori style to her, but she's a bit more out there than I had anticipated.

Thank you I made the necklace with a charm I found at Hobby Lobby. They have super cute and perfect to scale charms for necklaces.

I plan on having a VE Woosoo in the future, two of them, actually. A boy and a girl. But that might take longer than planned -.- Either way, I plan on having them. You need to spam more of Athena. :3

Yay! I've got Athena and Keet's boy Ettore in the house so I have one VE and one Human Woosoo to snuggle They're so precious~

I was surprized myself at how expressive they can be! I originally wanted her in the first place, but then Chloe and Mirwen came out, but I'm so happy I got the opportunity to buy her instead!
