I took some "candid" photos of the girls today. Some girl talk after Abby got a hair cut

 

Thank you guys and wow thats alot..so it would be around..$400 in total? O.O; ill check dde right now.

 

So I found a very strange spot on Marcy earlier. I can see how I never saw it since I have never pulled her middle section away from her hip, but I found a spot of resin that is SO thin it is almost see through. Isn't resin supposed to be thick? The rest of her body is thick. This spot is even thinner than her fingers. I'm actually worried it might break since the bottom of the middle joint sits on it and might rub against it during posing. Is this something I should worry about? >.>

 

My cousin just got her fairyland boy from denver doll emporium. Its around $401and somthing cents.guessing either way you pay $ 400 O.o;

 

I spent more like 450 on my guys.. Myca is my most spoiled with a total value around like... 800$ with what I've put in to her

 

You should be happy you're in the US... I paid $500 for my girl

Thanks to everyone who complimented Bibi's dress! Her tutu is made by the talented elenoreanne. I can take some more detailed body shots comparing them later, if anyone is interested.

@calio: Bibi is annoying Vale, but then again, everything annoys him...lol

 

did you seal between layers? if so you can just wipe the lashes without having to redo the whole thing *says the girl who is too impatient to seal between layers*

It is my understanding that DDE orders with FL every Saturday.

For the record (not to cause conflict) I've gotten 15 FL dolls since I started this hobby and 13 of them I got through DDE. I've not had one problem with them or the dolls. I am surprised they didn't mention the flaw but in truth, they should not be faulted in this matter - they did not make the doll.
I am not addressing any other gripes and I am only speaking from personal exp. but I thought I'd throw my two cents in for what they're worth.

For the in-stock Karsh and extra set of hands, that I ordered from DDE, Priority Mail from Colorado to Florida would have been $23.50. I had requested UPS delivery sent to my work address, so when they noticed their mistake, they changed it, credited my credit card for the difference and sent me an email letting me know. The UPS ground cost to a business address is $15.00.

For the difference in money, I'll go with the extra waiting time and use the money saved to order things like extra hands. I haven't dealt with Fairyland directly, but with DDE, they have always been great in answering my questions and quick to help me when I needed to make changes in my orders.

Their website states that they send in orders every Saturday. And it doesn't hurt to check their website now and then. Sometimes they have dolls in stock from canceled orders. That's how I got my Littlefee Ante and my "due to arrive tomorrow" Minifee Karsh.

Tintalgia; I'll have to remember to do this in the future if there's a minifee I want! Do you just e-mail them and ask them about if they have one in stock or will it actually be listed on the website somewhere?

Aaaand, I did a terrible thing. >_>;; I bought a NS Luka head. This means I'll have two floating head, but I'm unsure if I'm going to like WS, so she's going to be here in the meantime. ^^; Ah, I need to stop buying. I swear I will now. I really have to save money for my big move. D:

pinksugar - Nice- I hope you can bond with the ws head. I never thought of owning a white skinned doll until I saw the oportunity for the VE Chloe, and I didn't think about it twice. It just depends if you really like the mold and the faceup and all that good stuff!

octobercrow - Sweet! That sounds exciting. No wonder your antsy, I would be too! With the Karsh I'm waiting for, what I did was deposit now and then I will pay the rest upon arrival. Sometimes I think about the wait and I get all impatient, but then I start thinking about other stuff and I know I can wait just fine - it's so hard sometimes, specially when you have gotten so many things for the doll already, and all that's missing is IT! Hahah!

Tintaglia - OH! Will your in-stock Karsh have a face-up? Sorry if you've answered this before - didn't see if you talked about it.

 

pinksugar, they will list dolls that are in stock. Karsh was listed on the male ala-carte page. I hadn't noticed him earlier because I was always looking at the female ala carte page.

Shuklyah, no he won't have a face up. I'll have to send his head out to someone to bring him to life, but while his head is away, I'll have his body to sew for.

As for the topic with DDE, I've dealt with them once for my Karsh and they gave me excellent customer service!

Andddddddddddd, Tsuminaki sent me a picture of Sebby's tattoo and it looks amazinggggggggggg!

How long did she take to get to you? I have no clue if its a problem or not, but i guess if it hasnt broken now, it wont break easily. If your worried, see if you can find a replacement arm for her ^^

It took her four months. And I've seen things about other people's dolls that arrived around the time I got Marcy having similar things. I don't think I could get a replacement hip joint since it's been so long. Fairyland might say it's something normal or something.

xxSugarxPopzxx-That really sucks. v.v Let's just hope for the best! I have heard of people getting stuff to mod with and building it up to make it stronger in weak spots like that. I seen a modded Chloe on the MP and she had the same problem in the same place and the lady/man modded that spot stronger.

Dear MNF owners, I hope you don't mind if I ask a question?
I am lurking in this thread for quite a while now and I'm thinking about order a Minifee. But from what I have seen MNFs have a comparably smaller head than other MSDs. And I'm wondering if their head will be smaller than those of my YoSD-sized girl, which would look strange.
So, which Minifee does have one of the bigger heads? Is it perhaps Chloe or Ryeon?
I would love to see a comparison of MNFs with Yosd-sized dolls!

They wear 6-7 wigs,and they aren't too small,they are just smaller.
But the bigger heads are Luka,Miyu,and I think one or two others?
But no,they shouldn't be.

I was under the impression Miyu, Ryeon and Shu have the biggest heads, though my Shu wears the same 6-7 wigs as my Karsh and Rheia and Chloe (who is a newer sculpt and has a smaller head)

speaking of Shus - mine hase been neglected lately (since I modded Amy) so I made her a new corsette/top and took a few pics
