so i am starting to like the ruth sculpt he's so cute with his smirk but oh nos i told myself i only wanted 5 minifees

 

Oh! I'm not good at identifying modded sculpts sometimes and I guess because my Chloe is going to be a girl I just didn't look for that sculpt in the cute boy!

I know how you feel. I keep looking at some of these dolls and making grabby hands. My list of MNFs keeps growing longer!

True! My girlfriend collects Juris and the Juri 2012 was the event head. XD What could I do? It was obviously time to order! Plus, as I said, she has this floating head (Juri 2010) who needs a body! I actually tend to only order during events if possible. Why not get free stuff if you're going to order anyway? It simply is that I usually order directly from FL when I order and this time I needed layaway because it was unexpected - the Juri head. I believe she's only missing three of the Juris now. She has Juri 2005 (DELF), 2006 (DELF), 2007B (DELF), 2008 (MNF), 2010 (MNF); 2012 (FEEPLE 65). Okay the 2012 is just a head right now but a girl can dream! That only leaves Juri 2007A (DELF), Juri 2011 (MNF) and Juri 2011 (multichoice).

Well your doll is very lovely, even if I'm poor at recognizing the sculpt. I actually haven't had the opportunity to see the Chloe in person yet and am super excited to get mine!

No problem. And yes I think from what I have notices Karsh's have the move variety to them, at least in person more so. Me and KireiX compared our two in person at a meet, and we noticed how different they seemed to have looked, where mine had a bit more smokey effect like you said, and I didn't add anything to him. Might just be wig and eyes, that usually makes things different to me.

Thank you. Yea I saw a lot of Chloe's around the board, but when finally getting to see one in person it was different, and nice to get that idea.

I have decided that I want a Karsh girl NS head - unless I can find a NS VE Chloe so that I can have a case of different skinned twins! *Wishful thinking* I just want another lovely elf in my family! Those ears drive me crazy in a good way (if there is such a thing!).

Can i request Chole spam, where she has a wig that has a fring/bangs? I have been looking for long red wigs for my future Chole and most seem to have fringes/bangs.

She's a true redhead but today, she's modeling a Leeke LR035. They do have three or four shades of red and the bangs will need some fixing or even thinning to work right on her head.

 

Oh thanks so much, she looks so pretty and the wig suits her so much. At the moment i am looking at one from Nine9 style that i think will suit.

WooHoo!!! My new Rheia just arrived! Check out the gorgeous blue eyes that came with her!

 

got my chloe! its love. tried to dye her tan! ...currently sanding off the blue that it turned! T.T;;;;;

ugh. soooooon. i even have begun to think that maybe it will be ok if she is WS...but im so disaapointed. i really really want her tanned. now im worried that i wont be able to get the resin down to a smooth enough surface for the dye to take again, if i make attempt #2...

@DraconicMaiden: Aw, that's too bad! I recall one of the PukiPuki owners mentioned having an unexpected color change with RIT dye on her WS Puki... it was supposed to be silver/grey and it turned out purple! Maybe next time you could try the dye out on spare pieces like hands or a neck piece before trying to dye the whole doll.

 

That's saddening to hear. Have you thought about sending her to a customizer to be dyed?

My goodness! What an odd shade to turn! I don't think I've ever seen a blue hued brown before. Most browns are reds or yellows or a combination, aren't they?

Just as a side note, my understanding is that it is better to start with a normal skin doll before tanning. It gives the illusion of undertones to the skin or something. I don't know why, but I remember someone telling me that you should start with a normal skin doll if you want a more natural looking tan.

Blue though.... that's just odd. Makes me uncertain about dyeing one of my dolls. Maybe getting it done by a customizer is the right idea...?

nice seeing everyone else's girls. it keeps raining here whenever i get a chance to paint! my mirwen is cooperating nicely so far. i just need to do freckles tomorrow and then all the top coats/gloss. but luka seems to dislike the face i am trying to give her. the first time i was almost done and she got a big bubble beside her nose. today i was going to do her eyebrows and found a bubble in her eyeliner . that's why i would never do this professionally!

Eep! I just got pictures of my Juri who I sent to Xhanthi for a faceup! She turned out amazing! I hope no one minds if I share a picture. The credit goes completely to Xhanthi!

 

Muffinator3000- that's a lovely faceup! The freckles are a wonderful touch! And I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing the pic- she's your girl, after all.

 

Just wanted to pop in a show off a picture of my Chloe mod. I haven't really been giving her much love lately, so she's enjoying the attention of the camera!
