Hey guys!
I'm saving up for a basic Minifee Chloe and I was wondering what size eyes her fullset came with?

 

She came (and still comes with) 16mm.

 

Like I told Wovenflame poke around gift shops that sell things like ornaments especially around Christmas time. I have seen some online but yes they tend to be too small or too big.

Also Miss Mackenzie is very comfortable with her room and especially the computer actually she has sort of claimed all the modern day stuff I've got.

Yeah well, a young girl who's a full time college student, and jobless who spent every penny she had on cigarettes and alcohol wasn't getting me anywhere. Plus, when I first found BJDs I thought they were too expensive. Then I found Pullips and thought they were a good alternative. But about a year after, I started really looking at BJDs, then just knew I had to have one and I could never really decide on one. So I quit smoking and drinking and was able to save (well, I quit those at the beginning of the year :P) Abigail's a cutie

You all are right my day will indeed come I even have enough money to buy my first minifee but my financial responsibility won't let me. I love looking at everyone's dolls they do give me a sense of excitement, and hope. And times they make me sad too because it seems almost impossible lately and feels like a dream to just own one

I know the feeling. But don't be discouraged! The wait will only make the arrival that much more amazing. I hope soon you'll have the financial freedom to get your MNF!

pokori- you will be so excited once you can hit that button! before i got zoe as a mnf miyu, i was so in love with the first version of her. when i finally got to redoll her as a miyu, i was beyond ecstatic. when she arrived, with her faceup and everything (ala the wonderful mendokusai) it just felt so absolutely correct!

I just found the shoes from Deb's Adorables, and I can see in one of the former threads of these that they fit MiniFee almost perfectly. Of course, she doesn't ship to anywhere but USA, and I for some reason can't contact her to ask about it.
If anyone USA based would help me out, let me know.

This is the... second? third? time I've seen someone say that within the past thread or two! What's going on!?! I know we have one and it always comes up if you search "Mirwen" in the database forum.

The problem is no one has asked an admin to update the database list in forever.

 

I believe we also need a Kyle and Rix database.

 

Making database threads is really easy. when you make it, you just gotta message one of the admins of that subforum so they can make it all official and put it on the list!

I think it took a day or two to get everything offically updated when I made the Breakaway database, but it was really easy and just took a few pms.

Main thing is, whoever makes the database has to have the mold in question, so there's definitely going to be at least one entry when the thread is officialized.

Thanks for the comments on ada guys! heres some more spam of her. Right now I'm in the middle of re-doing her faceup. I also got new hands for her that im pretty jazzed about...

 

So I have a silly question if you have a group of minifee's that you planned for would you buy them one by one? group by group? Or all at once? I have 5 minifee's in mind and it totals up to about 2,000 bucks. But I feel bad if I didn't buy them all together. They are all connected in a sense.

 

I have a group I'm planning, 4 in total. But so far I have only ordered one. So I'd go for one by one.

 

If you can wait until you save up the money I don't see why not to ordering them all at once, but keep in mind, it's not just the cost of the dolls themselves. You'll have to get them all wigs, eyes, faceups, clothes and shoes too all at once. That's a LOT of money to spend all at once.

Maybe bring them home in pairs so it's not as much of a shock to your wallet? Also I think if you bring them home in smaller "batches" you'll be able to connect and appreciate each sculpt more, rather than being overwhelmed by a bunch of dolls at once, lol.

 

but I don't think ill connect with any of them honestly, they are all gonna come blank. The only reason I consider buying them all at once is because the 2 in a half almost 3 month wait is torture and I am a very impatient person. I order pair by pair then it will almost be a 6 in a half month wait. I would go nuts. And I am not so much in a hurry to dress them. I might buy them and then buy their things while I wait

 

I enjoy the excitement of waiting for a doll, planning, gathering their wigs, eyes, and clothing, so I would definitely go for getting them one at a time, even if I could somehow afford more than one at a time. You could also order the dolls over a period of time, not necessarily waiting until one arrived before ordering the next. That way you could have them come in once a month or so, over a period of 5 months, having a chance to get to know each one before the next arrived.

To me it would be like having multiple babies. Five at once would be overwhelming and there would be less of a chance to get to know each individually.

As far as wait time goes, wouldn't it take you just as long to save up to order all five at once as it would to order them one at a time as money became available? And, you never know, you might just find out that the size is not what you expected and you will have five to unload rather than just one! (not very darn likely....Minifees are gorgeous!).
