They have an online store too, but i don't know if the charge for shipping or anything. But it could be worth a look. But yes i can barely buy fabric at that price. Plus the shorts are a perfect fit (i think they are trousers on the bears though). I think that is why i took the risk too.

Oh kerri, I love everything about that picture! The lighting, your beautifult girl, the light in her eyes, the flowers in her hair, her blouse, the perfect focus on her with the background blurred......it's all so lovely.

I may be ordering Kyle soon (YAY!), but does anyone know when the summer event usually happens?

 

Lately it hasn't been happening until august. Did they even have one last year? I don't remember. :\ Hm...

 

Woops I got Juri and Nanuri mixed up~ but I don't think I'll wait that long anyway. XD

 

What kind of thing do the normally do for the Summer Event? Because i really want a Chole next, but since i can't start saving to next month any way, so it might be worth waiting to they hold the event till i order.

 

Usually give a head as a free gift right? 2010 was VE Chloe, was there even one for 2011?

 

Usually they'll release a few new sculpts or fullsets, and then have a special limited faceplate for each size doll and you get one depending on how much money you spend in your order. The more money you spend, the larger size faceplate you qualify for. They pretty much are just like their winter events.

 

I see, normally how much is the spend needed?

 

I think those were the dreaming vampire elf littlefeee face plates and the smiling juri?

Thanks so much for all the information. It is really useful! I might hang on since i haven't even started saving because i know it if was a MNF head i really liked i would get a little upset. Because i am sure a full doll and a body would help me qualify, because i would want a body if i really liked the head.

Looking at all you people's spam of your doll makes the wait harder and easier at the same time!

He's amazing, sophiesoliday! I didn't think I needed a guy doll, but I've had Kristo's modded Mirwen guy here for almost a week and he did his best to convince me differently.

She's lovely, Utsumi. Is she a closed eye mod? Her eyes look a bit different than Kristo's open eyed Luka that has been visiting me. Could just be the angle of the photograph though, I suppose.

He's really getting quite the workout, Botflybaby!

 

Thank you. She's a normal open-eyed Luka but it could be my photography or maybe her eyelashes that make her eyes look different.

 

Yes, I think it is her eyelashes. They give her an exotic, more oriental shape to the eye. I took another look at some of the pictures I took of Kristo's Luka and yeah, same eye shape, just different eye lashes and a bit of a different angle to the picture.

Silver: Yeah! Matching the apoxie color to the resin color was a pain, and I didn't pull it off quite right. @_@ Thankfully I plan on keeping Lien with mostly darker eyeshadows, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. xD

@Pannytheangel - Thanks ^^. She looks similar to what she looked like before, only difference is the blue eyeshadow and the lighter lips, but that alone made it a huge makeover for me! Her personality is more fierce now I think. LOL

@crazykimochi - ^^ I really like the effect of BW on the VE Chloe sculpt just because she really looks undead! I have to shell out a good character idea for her...I do have a couple of stories in mind, but I won't be able to focus on them probably until after the middle of May, when this semester will be officially over!

Shuklyah, Jessica looks lovely in the pink, soft and beautiful as you say, but if she never again appeared in the vibrant orange I'd be sad. It's so unusual, especially set off with the bright yellow outfit! It really makes her stand out in a gorgeous way.
