Fairyland Minifee MNF Discussion Part 20

I think I have only seen just one Rix

 

Help? Need 2 measurements from a Minifee girl please!
- 1 right under the bust around the ribcage
- 1 right above the bust under the armpits.

I've got a slim mini model here I want to compare with and alas my MNF girls have moved on for now.

 

I doubt it will make a huge difference, but what bust size are you looking for? I know that the small, medium, and large busts all have different chest and torso pieces which means the measurements you asked for will be different depending on which chest piece you're using!

 

That's true. I'll take any! Maybe if someone provides measurements they could also post which bust size that is for? It would be fantastic to have measurements for all 3!!

I don't think any of my boys look 'adult' >: they have cute little faces, haha.
I've seen mods done that make sculpts look older though.

Finnian is supposed to be 19 (apparently according to his bio I wrote a couple of years ago, though I always think he's 18. How bad am I for forgetting my own characters ages? haha)

I'm still on the hunt for a ws sleeping head for chloe. Everyone is selling NS heads right now on the marketplace. I also want Mirwen, which is funny because every time I look at her default listing on Fairyland I really dislike her but everytime someone posts her on here I want her BADLY.

In other news, I have some dresses coming in for my girl and I'm really excited. I just need to get a faceup on her but WHAT IS TIME? I have none of it.

 

No I can't i'm too afraid I won't love them all equally so i must choose wisely lol. I blame fairyland for making my head hurt.

the funny thing is they look like twins the only difference is luka has a smile and rheia looks much more sad. Decisions decisions. Thank you so much your group is very inspiring >.< they both can pull off the look i am going for but who wants it more?

i know its also the difference in their eyes as well So if anybody wants to make identical but not so identical twins get a rheia and a luka lol

 

I love Rheia boys .... I miss mine at home. I can add to the Luka/Rheia spam hopefully soon.

I like Luka because he can easily pull it off. He already has such a sweet gentleness to him and his smile really gets me.

I like Rheia because i like the maturity in the face and with the right faceup the look could be pulled off. I also love the sort of pout in the face.

 

Received an email from DDE today -- my Minifee's from the Event order I placed have all come in! Yaaaay!

I hope to pay the rest I owe for them no later than the 10th of next month, but I sure hope I can pay them off quicker

My kids don't have face-ups yet, and no one has wigs yet, either....but Litara -- my wife -- has a girl Seorin coming in whose practically 100% complete! Lucky lady ^_^

So, anyone who placed an order through DDE around the start of February, start getting excited :3

 

I love both sculpts as boys .

 

Gosh, I am at work all day today (9am-10pm) and worked a 12.5 hour shift yesterday.... overnight (12am-12:30pm). So I am feeling pretty grouchy. Anyone want to cheer me up with a ton of spam? I could really use it! Mostly because I can't do faceups at work, even though I sit here all day doing practically nothing *tough librarian woes*


edit: Also, anyone who has MNF gals with jeans - can you post photos and say where you got them?

 

I don't think there are a lot of Minifee sculpts that really look truly adult, but I think there are some that can look like older young men. Ruth, Carl and El to me are the 'oldest' looking faces. Here's my Ruth

 

I can try to take photos tomorrow--with my Mother in Law visiting, I'm finding myself with a bit more toddler-free time! The best fitting jeans that I have are from AstroKitty, and are no longer in production. I've also got some TTYA jeans, but they're a much better fit on Unoa than MiniFee.

A pretty one of Angie from this afternoon... I love how easily she photographs.

 

Does anyone know what size wig Minifee Rena wears? I read mnfs wear 7-8", but that rena's head is smaller than most other mnfs and would wear 6-7". I don't know what size wig to buy!

Additionally, her stock eyes are 'half eyes', split in half- not completely sphere. Can I still buy eyes that are completely sphere and they'll stick with the puty? Sorry if that's a bit of a newb question but I never ran into that before, hah!

Heartplace: I've found that Leekeworld 7-8 wigs are too big for my own Rena, even with a wig-cap- unfortunately, I'm still waiting on a 6-7 wig so I couldn't tell you how they fit.

The full round eyes fit just fine- you just have to put the putty in to accommodate their shape. Don't be sorry, we all need to learn somehow, right? And it's better safe than sorry! Seeing your Rena makes me wanna pull Layla out to play again, but unfortunately, Angie has her body at the moment xD

 

oh wow, didn't expect such a speedy response- thank-you! Good thing I didn't place an order yet but do let me know once the 6-7 wig arrives and how it fits. It was Leeke wigs I was looking at for her so the 6-6.5 better fit @w@; Can't wait to find out.

What a relief! Most eyes I was coming across are fully sphere. I'll just make sure to stock up on putty. Aww, thank-you! A friend of mine has two heads for one body too. XD Is your Layla different from the stock Rena? I'd love to see photos of her sometime! I'm still settling on a name for mine. Maybe it'll come to me after I buy her new eyes/wig!

 

I'm personally using 6-7 wigs on my Rena and they fit quite well, so I would just go for that size.

I was practicing posing and having trouble with the hugging the thighs sitting pose. Does anyone know how to do that one? I assume you have to pop the legs out of the hip joints completely right? How in the world do you keep them from wanting to pop back in?

Hi everybody!!

I'm a first time MNF owner and have a beautiful Ryeon in my care now! She's so beautiful and her jointing is wonderful! I got her off of the MP and I didn't know who she was going to be. I toyed with the idea of her being my character Jenna, but she just said "NOPE!!" And told me her name is Elyra and that she's a fairy.

I gave her a wonderfully whimsical face up and now I just need the right eyes and wig to complete her. And outfits... she's currently in PJs because I own like NO MSD clothing. Oops...


She really needs a blonde or green or green and blonde wig!

 

I swear I have never wanted so many dolls before before I want a Luka a Miyu a karsh a Seorin, a Rheia a Mirwen a Chloe, a Marcia, A Woosoo lol oh make it stop!!! And I want to try a Mirwen, Rheia, and Marcia boy but Marcia would be a sleepy eye mod

Also could someone start a Mirwen Database please? I would if I owned one lol

I think she looks pretty unique, mixing styles like that i think works very well. I adore that top for her as well, if you don't mind me asking where did you get it. I have a doll who that sort of style is right up her street.
