I love seeing all of the beautiful Minifees!! It makes me happy to see them but I'm missing my girl terribly now and I just finished the school day from hell, kissed by Satan himself. She's been shipped off for her faceup, mani and pedi. Can I see some Chloe spam to cheer me up?

 

I'm sure she will be worth the wait.

I think DoA needs "like" buttons because it would make it so easy to comment on all the awesome eye candy! I'm not at all good at noting each thing in a message (usually I catch stuff one at a time and would end up posting 4 times in a row as I read the thread, or I'd be editing my post a lot to add another comment to someone), but I do so enjoy looking at ALL of the images that come through!

guys i need your opinions I am looking for a sweet innocent shy sculpt for my character. Which sculpt do you think could pull it off better Woosoo? or Luka? And spam of the two would be great thankie

 

LUKA. Definetly. Why? He/She has more of a pleasant/not real loud/shy look. Woosoo seems more angriesh and nonsocialable a little bit (Not easy to explain), I guess.

 

Good point my character will be a boy. He is really shy but really wants to be noticed and really sweet once you get to know him. And though he is shy he loves bright colors he will be my little rainbow boy. I guess I love woosoo's dreaming eyes. But I also want my photos to catch the color in his eyes, and you cannot get much of that effect with sleepy eyes unless you photo edit i assume

 

I feel like Karsh looks really sweet too when he has a lighter face-up depending on how it's all done. I agree about Luka too

 

well I already have a karsh planned for his bestfriend actually he's more a hot head protective kind of friend

Just to comment on the size. I feel 16mm look great and fill up the eye opening very well. The only thing is depending on how high the dome is can make it a little hard to reposition them without gaping. So you can't get quite the range of expression through eye position as with 14mm.

So I'm actually glad to have the two sizes.

Luka is a VERY versatile sculpt. Most of the Lukas here look pretty sweet, but they can look very mischievous too. xD

Also, I need some advice - I'm making my girl a new dress, its the one in the picture (Its not finished yet, just the main bit is done!). Its kinda a harajuku styled dress, and I can't decide on sleeve length. I want to go with cute puffy sleeves that are elasticated at the cuff with lace, but I don't know whether to go with short/cap sleeves or long - what do you guys think?

 

I think it would look adorable either way but I would go with the short cap sleeves

Ok.. I made up my mind I want a Chloe for my 2nd minifee! but I cant decide on normal or white skin. I'm actually leaning toward white because I fell in love with one on flickr.... just wondering if there is any down side to getting white skin?? Would love to see some WS Chloe spam!

 

I'd say Luka would work really well. My Sheldon is a sweet and gentle and innocent type. Here's some old Sheldon spam.

My Luka is anything but shy, but with the right faceup I can totally see Luka pulling it off (the default faceup makes them look very sweet and shy to me for example )

I agree! Woosoo is a much more aggressive looking chiwoo in my opinion! (Chiwoo is so cute.) The Luka sculpt is more innocent/shy looking to me too!

I've got a few days off (spring break yay!) so I should actually be able to take pics!

...and maybe i should start looking into getting a new body, too. I still have to do Timothy's scar chest piece, but I don't really want to use it till I've got a body it can stay on all the time. Changing an arm is one thing, but the chest piece requires too much restringing for my lazy self XD

This is my Juri 2011 boy mod, Garrett! He's eagerly waiting for Fairyland to re-release the c-line bodies so he doesn't have to steal one of the girl's bodies xD!

 

@alogue- Gosh almighty knows!! I love his faceup! It goes right in with his mood and giggly face!

 

@Ravenwolf - Aww! Thanks - he is lucky! I do have a Shushu and a Mirwen sculpt but if I had to choose between all of my dollies I would always choose Abigail (my Shushu). She will always be my favorite sculpt hands down - love it to death! I've been wanting another Shushu to have as a twin - but I will have to think about that ^^

@alogue - These Juri '11 sculpts are so gorgeous in the right hands! What an amazing boy he can turn out to be! Congratulations - he is fantastic! ^^

MissCarrion - Epp, your girl is adorable :3 And I would go with the short sleeves since that would add in a touch of loli-esque and that's very popular. They do it a lot in decora and fairy-kei.

I was able to get the chest piece when it was released with an order. It's been sitting in a wad of bubble wrap since, since i didn't wanna paint it when I didn't have a reason to use it yet.

Bodies need to be more available. I know i for one need way too many XD;

...i'm also gonna have to figure out how i did Timothy's scars in the first place. I hope i have that written down somewhere o_O;

 

Another recent addition. Woosoo must also wait 'til spring for a faceup.
