Torren-- Torren. D: ... Torren. I can't remember if I knew you had a No. 7 head. I think I did, from back when you made your fer... but I had forgotten. There are nowhere near enough No. 7s, considering Fairyland never did pull through on their promise to bring her back. So cute.

Although... Marcia does look a bit like a sharper version of the No. 7, now that I see them together...

I had this shelf-thing, then I realized that the foam from the doll box fits perfectly into it... so I just made a few pillows and Shushu's got a daybed! Then of course the cat decided it was for him. D:<

Dollmore.net, I have put the cigarettes, all the ties and scarfs I wanted, the headbands, the eyeglasses, that Graflex camera, and EVRYYYTHINGGG into your cart 4 times.

Why you always error when exactly I go and buy these toys?! Why? 4 times I go and and I click and I TRY to BUY...and you're all lame and sloppy and you're all like, "no, I'm being pouty!" and you ARE pouty, and you GO..."NO!" and I CANNOT USE YOU. Derp.

I love seeing all the Chloes! I ordered mine during the 10% off sale, and now the wait is horrible! I'm doing my best to not even browse for wigs and eyes and clothes for her, since I know her personality will reveal itself when she arrives in a few months...

 

Wow that is really clever! It is a kind of perfect doll bed since not only does it fit scale wise. But you also have the cool draws to keep dolly things in too!

Aw, man, Dale Rae isn't going to sell shoes anymore? Seriously? >.< Back when I was heavily into dolls I wanted a couple of pairs of her shoes, but she was out of the material I wanted the flats to be in, so I was told to check back. I did, for a while, but they were never in stock. And now... poop. No more Dale Rae, so neither the flats nor the hells shall ever be had! Time to start checking the Marketplace, I think! XD

Deb's flats, boots and MJs fit Minifee pretty well.

which size fits? she won't ship to canada so i have to get them shipped to a "snowbird" who will bring them back for me in the spring.

 

Just about 3 more weeks and Myca's eyes don't need to be dark black pits.

Red. a pretty ruby tone from Enchanted Doll. She's an albino, so these black pits are so not her.

What a fabulous bed, BlueAtreyu. Maybe the cat won't mind sharing? I really doubt that Shushu has much say in the matter.

I ordered through DDE on Christmas Eve and haven't heard anything yet so it still might be a couple of weeks yet for you. Fairyland does tend to send out the various doll sizes to DDE in batches though don't they? Maybe we'll end up getting our dolls around the same time. Once my Luka leaves DDE she still has to go through Canada customs and endure the slow Canadian postal system too.

 

I still cannot believe we went through the last thread so quickly. I guess with all the new arrivals and anticipation of fabulous new dollies, we wore it out!

Octobercrow: Good to hear that DDE is so quick on getting Minifees! I guess now my question is, has anyone ordered one of the a la carte dolls from there? And if so, how long did it take for the arrival?

 

Two of my girls are DDE a la carte. They both took about 2 and a half months to ship, with face up.

Lol, my last Minifee from DDE took almost six months to get to me, so as long as this time around things move a bit quicker, I'm fine with whatever It sounds like around 2 months though is now the norm...of course with the monster of a list in the WR, miiight be a bit longer

She is sporting a pair of the metallic mary janes from Debs Adorables. Thanks to whoever initially discovered those shoes! SUPER affordable and SUPER cute! I decided to test out a pair of blue eyes in her, and I love them, so she is keeping them!

 

ugh im so mad okay at first i wanted 3 minifees. A woosoo a Rix and then A Chloe. Then I fell in love with Karsh and scratched out Rix and now I am falling in love with Miyu so I might scratch Chloe It makes me sad how many changes im making I really love Chloe's sculpt. She has a face that is beautiful and very mature but maybe a little too mature for my character and miyu has such a innocent teenage girls face.

There's a neat place on Etsy that sells glasses printed on clear plastic. A sheet of them for $10. You cut them out and they look realistic instead of too big or too thick. I don't remember the name of the store, though. Anybody?

Sweet- thanks for the info everyone! I'm still halfway between ordering my girl straight from Fairyland or from DDE. I am leaning a little toward DDE because I know they're usually really good with customer service.

On a side note, I might be putting some money away here and there after I re-stabilize my bank account. Then that will go toward buying his body and getting my Chloe in BW. I'd like to get them at the same time during an event of some sort; at least thats my goal. So maybe by next winter time-ish. c:

 

I LOVE the shoes! What a great colour! What size are they, from Deb's Adorables? The shop is the on on EBay, right?

 

Oh man I just got two minifees (Rheia and Miyu, neither of whom are ready for primetime yet due to being in borrowed eyes and wigs and random scrounged clothes) and I got them shoes from Deb's Adorables after seeing them in this thread. The fit is great, it's way better than the fit on shoes I've gotten before that were specifically made for mature minis (I wound up repurposing most of those for my regular MSDs since they fit them better...)

Also, the bows on the matte flats are glued on pretty lightly, and are quite easy to pry off, if you decide you want plain flats or flats with a different decoration!
