Hi all, long time no talk to! I'm in the process of getting a SQ Lab KSG-L girl from an acquaintance on another forum. I've wanted to try the body with my Ante head but I have no idea what to do to make the head fit. I know I've seen a few of these hybrids on DOA over the years, so I'm hoping someone here can help out.

 

I don't have any LTF hybrids, but I believe people have used the older Chicline headbacks to make the faceplates work on other bodies. It looks like the RealFee LTF headback connector might work, but you may need to do some modification on the neck part to make it fit on the neck of the body you're using, since they're designed to fit on a RF neck.

I know for Unoa (same faceplate situation), there are people who have made headbacks just for this purpose...perhaps there are similar ones for LTF that people have made?

I've been trying to get back in the swing of things now that my kids are back in school. I gave my Leah/Harlow a new faceup for fun. I wanted a little waif match girl.

Thank you so much!! I ordered her a new darker wig. I guess I could try and figure out how to dye this one, but I would be afraid of shrinking it.

I would like to share my LittleFee Ante:



I bought her on the Marketplace here on DoA. She is quite old, and my plan was to use her body for hybriding. As soon as I saw her I couldn't possibly do that to her, so instead I sent her off for a new face up (with Shaiel). She is my first YoSD, and I bought her many wigs and many pairs eyes before I found the right ones. She is absolutely my favorite girl.

I'm now a Fairyland convert.

 

She is adorable - she looks so sweet the face up is lovely as is her little dress. Welcome to the fairyland dark side - she will be requesting friends soon (if not already )

@Merlin's Mom Thank you for the nice words! Indeed she has a little boy companion already, and she is asking for a girl as well.

@ohbumblebee Thanks so much! I probably spent more trying to style her than I did to buy her, but I'm smitten so she is worth it! Besides my other future YoSD girls can share.

 

Do you have a pattern for her dress? It's very unique.

 

Unfortunately no I haven't got the skills yet to sew this well. I got it on Etsy and the seller is Kosucas. She often have dresses in this same style in different colors. It's well made and affordable.

What a cutie!! I did that once, bought a LTF to steal the body of, because I already had the head sculpt in a different color. The original head went to a good home though and is now a mermaid! The body went to my AoD AiAi head, who then got Daisy Dayes hooves, eventually her head got swapped for a Soom Beyla. Then another LTF I owned, a Chiwoo Elf Girl, had her body stolen by my Juri 13, and I really didn't feel like trying to hunt down another body so the Chiwoo faces got sold. The Juri 13 is a total thief! Aurora stole Diurises body, wings, wig, and eyes, and from another LTF she stole the horns and outfit.... At least Bonnie, my LTF DES is being a "good" girl and stuck to her own stuff haha

 

She is beautiful. Love that wig on her.

 

I am rarely successful when I buy a whole doll just for the body. Usually the adoptee has other plans once she arrives, as your girl did. Glad it ended up being such a happy experience for you

 

What a sweet little Ante, @D795 - Her wig and dress are adorable. I love the juxtaposition of her period look and the modern dump truck she is playing with.

Cyda is helping me paint her new bedroom that came in the mail today.

I severely underestimated the amount of veneer I would need for her flooring though. That might be a bit bare for a while.

@BashfulPersian - She's so cute! Great room box! Are you going to make the furniture, too? Maybe she'd like a rug underfoot while she's waiting for her flooring.

 

I'm definitely planning to make furniture. I've been working on a bed for her but I think it might be a little bit on the narrow side so it might end up being more of a reading bench than the daybed I was anticipating.

I have many plans for her space but I needed the box to keep them in before I could really gather them up XD And you never know what will and won't pan out. Or at least I don't - I'm kind of a make it up on the fly crafter.

 

@BashfulPersian - Good luck with your room box! My couple of attempts at making furniture were a disaster so I didn't follow up on it. I did score some good quality but inexpensive fabrics by buying scraps and remnants from a store that upholsters furniture.

Niya will definitely be coming to live here. Not sure about Rabi, I need to see better pictures.

I would think they have too much invested in the LTF line to give it up. It seems to be a very good seller. They've just been distracted with the new size recently. It would be nice to get new PKF faces too

Oh gosh! They are adorable! I'm so glad they are still working on the smaller dolls. Seems like they've been focusing on the larger sizes. I will have to add them to my never ending wish list.

This kid makes me want a bigger one in the same sculpt (El Elf) and a WS Littlefee El Elf to be sort of their 'mirror self'/ fae self/ astral projection/ reflection something.

Yea the Niya went into my cart first thing this morning.

 

I ordered Niya fullset and a Rabi ala carte. Not as thrilled with the pink theme there. Now for the wait.

The new additions look rather cute but both have something that is stopping me from throwing them into the cart. For Niya it's the eye shape and for Rabi it's the lips that aren't as pronounced. They're both contenders to come and live here in the future though, perhaps after some owner pictures with custom face ups. I'd definitely turn Rabi into a boy though. He'd be too adorable for words.
