i'm glad i'm not the only one who has dolls that like to "hide" on me sometimes
i love that you have 37 littlefees too, it makes my 10 seem not so bad do you just collect fairyland or do you have other dolls this size too?

Just thought I would point something out because I am enabler. I was looking at the Fairyland site this morning and they have a couple new wigs for Littlefee. What really caught my eye though, is that the blonde wig looks like it is on a Leah with a different from the normal default faceup!

 

Redfaery, I didn't show him off to the re-enactors. We visited off-season, so most of the people in costume were guiding large tours. Jack did entertain us with some piano, though.

 

Yes, sometimes I feel my lot in life is to make others feel better about their collection.

Pretty Tan Mio, what color eyes are you considering?

Hi guys!

First time posting in here but I recently bought a second hand LTF Lishe.
When I bought her, I don't believe she's a recast but I want to have pictures to confirm.

If anyone has a white skin LTF Lishe with the default makeup, would you mind showing me a few photos? I just want to match up that the faceup really is the default. She didn't come with her papers or box so this is the only thing I have to go by (and put my faith in;; )-- Her lower lashes definitely look like the ones on the Fairyland site.

Also, is it a common or possible issue that the faceplates tend to fall off when the doll is faced down?

The seam lines and everything else looks fine. She feels like the legits I've held and I don't believe she's smaller.
Still, I'd like to have comparison photos for if she ever moves on to a new home (Since I plan to wipe her)

You should be able to compare her to the FL websites for the look of the default faceup. I'd help, but both my LTF Lishes have custom faceups. As for the faceplate falling off, that's completely normal, just add a pair of magnets into the holes at the top of the faceplate and headback which are designed for it, or add something sticky, or use something like a wig cap to keep the faceplate on. My oldest LTF Lishe has a loose faceplate.

 

Pong2 is a bit of a charmer...

 

I'd like to second that request. He's beginning to get under my skin.

Faceplates fall off some of my kids all the time, especially the older ones. I either put a small piece of tape at the top, or insert the magnets.

I did take a look at the default on the FL website but their pictures are... Not the best to go by.
The only thing I could compare with is the lashes because her eyebrows are more or less hidden too.
But it's good to know that the faceplate falling off is a bit common. I do have some kneaded eraser I can put in the holes to make it stick better so that's no problem

I think she is actually quite old but since I can't trace her history it's hard to say.
She does have all her magnets in place but maybe I'll find a small magnet to fit the middle slot too

 

I'm really out of the loop! I don't even remember the Pong2 being released. I was on dolly hiatus! I think the sculpt would make an adorable girl, though. (Though I like ALL of them better as girls...)

Rubyheart: I like that color on your girl. It goes perfectly with her hair and the tan.

She's super jealous of Joren's big blonde fancy pretty wig. She needs something just as fancy and pretty in black. Any suggestions? Not the exact same, but similar...fancier and prettier! No curls, though please. She'd turn them into a rat's nest ASAP.

Please excuse the crushed lashes. They were sent that way to me, sighs..

The part of the cheek furthest away from the photo has actually been repaired. There's an obvious (IRL) splotch on the side.

I have a phone pic of the part that concerns me a little though-- I've never seen a faceup from fairyland with a blunt liner but this is also my first time really looking at the default faceup for littlefees ; v;

 

It doesn't look like default, but it's good enough to be a custom faceup someone did themselves.

 

She's lovely, I esp like her lips and her eyebrows.

 

Looking at that, I'd say the eyes and eyebrows look right to be a default faceup, but the lips look a little off - perhaps someone has "added" too them?
Having a look at the fullset shots - the eyebrows are in the right spot, in the photos were you can see them, they follow that line. They also look like Fairyland eyebrows, and the eyes have the right sort of pink eyeshadow that is shown in the shots. But the lips are too pink and too "full" as it were. I'd say that someone has added to the lips themselves and perhaps added a bit more blush on the cheeks as well.
Does she have anything written on the inside of her faceplate? Does it say "Lishe" or anything like that?

EDIT: Was just looking at your shots, and if that is a default, which I still think it is, there has also been some heavy eyeliner (with that thick black point) "added" to it as well.

 

I am not aware of all the LTF sculpts that have been copied...I know the main one is Ante and I think Chloe. I have not heard of Lishe being one.

That's exactly what I was thinking. There has definitely been signs of extra work done on her but I did feel like the strokes on the eyebrows and the eyelashes matched up

The inside of her faceplate actually does say Lishe-1! I was just slightly worried because the engraving wasn't too deep but I didn't have another LTF to compare too.

Yes, Tenyune, my comment was to you and your Lishe. I hope to have a photo to share soon of my hybrid. I've taken a LittleFee arctic fox faceplate, a Chic-line headback and put it on an ImplDoll 1/6 girl body. The resin match isn't 100%, but I think it's ok. I need to find a way of more permanently attaching the head, but I'm thrilled with Trinket. Now she needs ears and a tail.

I am now back in the LTF club! My tan Ante arrived today and is gorgeous. After selling all my LTF I hope I can bond with Fern. No photos as yet though.

Joren has abandoned her fussy pigtails for now, and gone back to her original "hairs" as she calls them. I tried reasoning with her...they're all wigs, I told her, but she was quite insistent. "No, the others were wigs, but this is my hair!" And the lady behind her simply says "mmhmm. Whatever you want to believe, dearie."

I think that you have a legit there. I'm fairly sure that my girls both have "Lishe-1" in their faceplates too. Can't wait to see what you do with her when you give her the new faceup. I do so enjoy seeing what people do with Lishes

My ltf arrived yesterday! *happy dance!

I had to steal one of my minifees wigs for her, all the wigs I have are 6-7 but they all swum on her, were far too long, or just looked silly. I have to admit I have a hard time finding 'just the right' wig. Her real eyes and wig will come with time ....

Kacha, she's lovely And another Sydney LTF!! I actually bought some bamboo yarn today from Spotlight to try to make a wig for Rachel before she arrives... I've almost finished one of her dresses (need to see her eye colour before I can choose the ribbon tie/trim!) and have started on another And I bought some Lalaloopsy overalls today on special too So yay! Another doll wardrobe is growing.... (I can hear the storage space under my bed groaning at me now... lol!)
