Fairyland LittleFee Discussion Thread - Part 27

May 3, 2014

    1. I love everyone's photos! They're all so wonderful!my favorite of course is tea time ;)

    2. Lovely tea party !
It's so nice to share something like this with your child...
Maybe one day she will do the same with her own children...

Here's another photo of Ninon modelling a wonderful outfit that my dear friend Marie-Annick (Corolle) has just offered me for my birthday.
She has secretly bought a fabric that I loved and commissionned a great french seamstress, Leoniepimpon, for this outfit (actually there are 2 dresses, a bloomer and a hat + a knitted cardigan, and she added another homemade dress) :
I have the best friend in the world !:D

    4. Thanks for the nice comments! It's my favorite pic of said tea party because of the two different sizes and because they really seem to communicate.
In the meantime I've knitted a more summerly outfit for Inkeri. And she got Mary Janes.

    5. what a lovely surprise! and she looks so pretty wearing it in the garden

well hello, we don't see many pukishas on this thread, but yours is great

      very cute

    6. Cameback to look at those lovely LTF pic AGAIN, and eveytime there are new ones! Can't wait for mine to arrive! I have never seen one in real life... but I really love all the pics here and eveyone saying it's a great size for a doll. I am curious and these pics make me want to hold one :-)

Sssooo I kinda borrowed my husband's Littlefee's body grabbed the most unisex clothes from our girls we had (lol the shorts and shirt are on backwards lol there's fluttershy on his back rofl) and ugh I think I have to get him his own body now -.- he's just so darn cute I couldn't resist... Obviously I didn't have any wigs for him but bleh.... Goodbye money.

    8. I have four LTF faceplates (two of which have characters/names) and I just have the one body... "Goodbye money," indeed. I know I'll be putting in extra hours at work for a few months.

    9. You didn't read that loud to yourself, didn't you? He is so cute, that little 4 of 8... or is he a 7 of 8? Whatever, resistance is futile for sure.

    10. Anyone have these YoSD sized skirts from Nine9Style and have tried them on a LittleFee? They are adjustable, so I'm wondering if the snaps themselves adjust well for a LTF waist.

    11. No, but I have yet to find any yosd stuff that didn't fit a littlefee.

      Not many Pukishas, you say...

    12. Haha lol trekkie! Resistance is indeed futile... I have a Littlefee Leah whom I have yet to share with you guys -.- she's in pieces in a box awaiting her finished mod... I guess my husband's dark elf soo also counts as "mine"....
      She's pretty cool too...

    13. not skirts but i have a dress from them that fits just right

    14. auntbear, does the dress have the snaps like the skirt, so that it would fit the same on the waist?

    15. i havent looked at it recently but i'm pretty sure it has snaps at the back. it doesnt have a fitted waist though just a fitted chest. just remembered that i also have some slim jeans from nine9 style that fit really well though....

if you want to be 100% sure, ask them for the waist measurement of the skirt.

    16. auntbear, oh, thank you very much! Pukisha is very interesting, must have for me :D

Bluemoonjules, your Pukisha is so lovely!

    17. I have a random question... Do some people here strictly buy boy bodies for their boy characters, or have you put your male character on a girl Littlefee body before? Just curious.

    18. I'm waiting for my Littlefee Shiwoo who will be a boy but will be on a girl body.

    19. Kk lol I was curious... I'm looking at buying a body for my Saurang fp and the character is going to be a boy... Surfing through the marketplace is bringing up lots of girls/girl bodies

Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk

    20. LOL! I've done both. You can't really tell one way or another when the clothes are on. But I have no problem putting a boy's head on a girl's body. I think of it as gender neutral. It works.

    21. Nods I was thinking something to that effect... I'm not much interested in doing nudes with the little guy...

    22. i usually try to put my boys on boy bodies and girls on girls, but when i first started fairyland didnt have a la carte for little fees and pipis only came on boy bodies, so eilidh was a girl on a boy body (the opposite of what you asked) for a couple of years, until we got around to ordering a boy on a girl body so they could trade. i still find it easier to treat the girl bodies as if they are genderless and base their character on their heads, (maybe 'cause they look more like the angel bodies of the smaller sizes?) than i do to dress a boy up as a girl. it always bothered me that eilidh had the "wrong" sex body, and we were both happier when she made the switch.

    23. Lol cool :) I'm sure she was!

    24. Thank god for a la carte~ xD My mom in law bought Reni as a girl recently thanks to that system. I also would like to have a girl body for girl ;D

And here's my Kinuga showing off her new amazing guitar (bought from Migidoll, they're awesome!)~ :3

      And made only one dress...

    27. where did you get her headphones puniko? the whole set up is great!

sweet girl lewellyne, welcome to the thread

    28. Thanks, pinkgate :)
auntbear: her headphones are from Crobidoll *w* They have them in few colors too. I love them on my Kinuga!
Cute Rolly, Lewellyna, you should take more photos of her ^^

    29. i'll have to check them out!

    30. Lewellyne, is it really Rolly? OMG, I didn't recognize her! She is wonderful! :aheartbea

    31. Still waiting for my Leah to be shipped, pretty nervous about it as well...

Atleast I have the pleasure to watch all your cute girls and boys over here.

    32. Thanks :)

      I promise I'll take more pictures !

When I saw her on FL, I said to myself "how big are your eyebrows !!! But I love your little teeth"
      And I clicked on BUY.
There's only 2 or 3 LTF Rolly on Materiel Celeste (french ABJD forum)

I promise also, while watching her, I'll do your dress ASAP !
Mรญriel will be assorted to her sister, Nimloth (PKF Mio)

    33. So I caved and bought my Saurang boy a body... So yeah that's a thing...

    34. Ahaha, congrats! I'm resisting doing that with Ophelia! Saurang is such an interesting name! Does it mean anything?

    35. Lol no it was the name of the event Fairyland had in January... Lol I think it's like Saurang or love or something like that. I got his faceplate in a group order with Vicemage :) (she lives close by lol) and she got the minifee head and I got the Littlefee head... I wasn't planning on keeping him... I gave him a face up with every intention of selling him but totally fell in love with him... [IMG]
*facepalms* but it so happened I had some spare cash, so he's being put together.

    36. Oh! Sarang! Ah, sorry! (It is pretty cool name though, reminds me of lord of the rings!)

    37. Lol yeah :) I agree... I haven't decided on a name yet for him maybe when his stuff gets here he'll tell me...

    38. Thanks auntbear!!! I found someone who will make something similar for me, and in different colors. But I do appreciate your response!! :D

    39. My girl is currently on her way to our capital so here's hoping she won't be held hostage by customs. I am also totally curious about her size and whether it's my size...

    40. So I finally found and bought my little guys own body in the second hand market place... O.O I think that was the fastest I've ever gotten a doll before, he shipped the 5th and got here the 8th o.O ... (Usually I get brand new dolls lol my wait times were 3 months being the shortest and 9 months the longest!!!) I will need to try that oxyclean deyellowing thing on the body since its mellowed some... But yay it's a boy! (And unfortunately for him, he's stuck with backwards unisex clothes til the ones I ordered get here and no wig for a little while too :/ )

    41. Oh, I think you'll love this size! They sit nicely in the hand and they are so portable! I wrap a single LTF in a soft cover and then slide them into a hard cardboard wine bottle case, and they are so easy to tote around that way!

Congrats on your new boy, Xura! Ken doll clothes will fit him, more or less, so if you get him some Ken shorts and a shirt from Walmart or ToysR'Us, that's a good way to quickly start off a boy wardrobe, I've found. Show us when he gets his outfits!

Guess who's back? Her blushing and faceup were getting pretty worn and scratched, so I finally scrubbed her down and gave her the full Spa treatment, and then she got a brand new dress! Here's Stella:

    42. congrats on finding a body so quickly xura

welcome back stella, it's great to see you here again!

    43. I have a question, if no one minds! Am I completely confused, or are there two Littlefee headbacks? I looked at the marketplace, and some seems to have magnets while others do not.

    44. there is just one. they come with extra magnets in case you need them. if the magnets aren't listed they may be already glued in or lost.

    45. Rosslyn, Stella looks lovely! The new faceup is beautiful and the new dress suits her so well! I love her!

      Xura, Congratulations. He's really cute

      Here's Paisley, Minnow and Hana

    46. Within the past couple of months I've been able to accomplish something I've wanted to do for a few years now - put together a couple of dolls I could name after my grandparents, Milo and Violet and costume them in the 1920-30s style. I recently got both an Ante elf, a grail doll of mine, and a Rachel who is now on a boy body. Both need new faceups and Milo needs a different wig, but I love these little ones - my first LTF, but nowhere near my first Fairylands!

    47. what a fun idea, glad you were able to make it work. looking forward to seeing milo with a boy wig next

    48. auntbear, that wig original sat on a MNF boy, but it wasn't as long on him. :) I really wish the ginger wig that came with my daughter's Pong fullset has fit this head, but it's too small and just pops off. It's adorable, though.

    49. Tabitha like her new ears

    50. That depends on the magnets you're asking about. If you mean magnets at the top of the head (roughly 8mm in diameter) where you could stick magnetic animal parts (ears, wings, horns, etc.), then yes, LittleFee should come with those. If they don't, they either fell out and weren't replaced or...

If you mean the tiny cylindrical magnets in the triangular peg hole for assisting in keeping the faceplate on, then no, they don't come pre-installed, but yes, they are usually included in an extra little baggy for the owner's convenience.

There IS another type of headback that doesn't come with default LittleFee... and that's the ChicLine L-Face connector which allows you to put a LittleFee faceplate on a ChicLine body and is available for either gender body. I don't own one of these L-Face connectors so I can't confirm, but I believe these are also supposed to have "ear/horn" magnets, as well.

    51. Thank you! She says it's good to be back.

Thanks! I got the dress from PixiDustdesigns on Etsy.

      Aw, they are cute!

      What a sweet kitty!

    52. Yay, Stella looks great in her dress!! Thanks for sending me the pic :D

Finally got a moment to read after a busy busy July/early August...BJDC was right on top of Comic-Con, and both were right on top of my school district start date. It's been nuts. BJDC was fun, not many LTFs there this time, sadly. A friend gave me this wig for Chien, she thought it would be perfect for her....what do y'all think?

    58. The dress suits her really well!!!
