designedforsmiles Thank you very much for the lovely pictures. Elf Ante has such a cute pout on her face. I just dislike the pink on the bottom of her eyes but I might get used to it over time. Leah has the yellow on her eyes which I dislike and Lishe seems a bit of a boring sculpt compared to the other two. This will definitly help me decide though~!

auntbear Thank you for spamming your precious Elf Ante. This lets me see how custom face-ups look on her as well. She's quite a cute lady.

SmoteyMote Awww...what an innocent little face your Ante Elf has~! I love her hair color it's pretty close to my favourite one which is the carrot-like color. I've always loved blond characters too but my characters just don't work with blond hair. So annoying...

Dakashy The face-up suits her very well and such a lovely haircut she has. The adorable dress makes her look so innocent.

I've gotten a good vision of the Ante's so far so thank you very much! More spam is always welcome by the way. Also looking for nice Leah spam if possible. She and Elf Ante are currently battling it out for first place, haha~

I am loving all the pretty kids in this thread and soon I'll be able to join in! My LTF Bisou arrived at DDE super early but she has to be on lay away for a awhile. Boo hoo! I'll comfort myself by looking at all the Littlefees here.

 

I am also waiting for a Bisou...when I enquired, DDE said the one that arrived (yours?) Had been ordered fir stock ages ago...which is why you got yours nice and early! I am not too bothered when mine comes as I can't get her faced up until September anyhow.

Pony, congratz and hold on tight, your Bisou is almost there! Do you have a name for her yet?
I also had to look at other littlefee pics before i got my Lisa to cheer me up, i was also looking at/choosing shoes and stuff for her... for hours... xD It made my waiting time somehow bearable.

 

at least you can be comforted by the fact that as soon as you pay her off she will ship right away, and like others said, in the meantime you can look at other pictures, dream and plan wardrobes, wigs and stuff.

 

I had a couple of names picked out for her but now I'm not sure I like them. They were Penelope or Prudence (from the Beatles song, Dear Prudence). Prudence is one of my husbands favorite names but I can't quite get away from the word prude. And the LittleFees all look so sweet. I think she has to have a sweet name so I'm still searching.

Puniko, I find myself looking at all the clothes and shoes for LittleFees too. It does help pass the time. Then I look at playmates for her and realize I might get myself in trouble! I started to make her a dress and have the skirt part done but I couldn't go on with the top so I ordered a pattern for LTFs. It should be here soon. So far the dress is ultra frilly. (The cute clothes were a big reason I went with LTF. I adore the bonnets, lace and ruffles)

Another reason I bought Bisou was because of how poseable she is so I can't wait to play with posing. It's so much fun to see how you pose your dolls in the photos. So very sweet!

 

Pony...how about naming her Patience...?

I agree, Littlefees are so versatile. They can wear very modern clothes, lots of frills, little kid stuff, and more sophisticated...

I have a really pretty outfit, with bonnet, on the way from PiffyPink...it is really for my incoming Bisou (whose name is Fleur) but no doubt one of my little Misses will try it on.

 

I was feeling lucky and actually placed a bid on a Fullset littlefee Leah from 2009. Since she had more than 10 followers I figured a newbie like me would never win an auction anyway. Guess I was wrong...I actually ended up winning the item. If all goes well a Leah shall be on her way soon. The seller will probably ship her out on Sunday.

I'm not sure how to feel now because I wasn't expecting to actually win the auction. I really loved her though else I would have never placed a bid like that. Yet I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable about the amount of money I'm spending on a doll. I just hope and pray that when I open the box I'll get that 'click' that puts everything in its place. I'm already having trouble deciding on an appareance for her, let alone a personality and a name.

So anxious and excited at the same time!

 

Pony, have you seen this tv show called "Charmed"? Main 3 character were witches whose names were Prudence, Piper and Phoebe (then Paige joined after Prue died). Maybe watching it will make you like Prudence name more xD Or inspire you to name her otherwise.
I also love frilly cute clothes *w* Sewing for tinies is so much fun for me~ Oh and yeah, looking at playmates for your doll that hasn't arrived yet is dangerous xD But i also did that... i mean, i wanted my Kinuga to be a singer in a band, so i need at least one more hehe~

Siara, its so exciting to have Leah coming to your home. I hope you post lots of pictures of her. The money we spend on the dolls really hurts but hopefully you'll connect and the sting will go away. I bought my first bjd in 2008 and had to fight with myself to do it but I still love her even though I'm thinking of selling her because she's a SD and I seem to like the MSDs and especially the tinies more.

Lol - Bluemoonjules - Patience is what I need right now. It'd be a good name for Bisou. I've never seen Charmed but I had to laugh about the tie in to witches because I like the thought of naming a group of dolls Samantha, Serena and Tabitha after the Bewitched witches. Even Endora is a neat name. I'm probably dating myself but they're great names. I like Tabitha a lot. I'm going to have to see her in person to get an idea about a name. I've never seen or held a LittleFee so she'll be brand new to me.

I'll be sure to check out Piffy Pink. I didn't know about them. I also like the bear and bunny hoodies a lot. One of the patterns I bought has a hoodie with it. Can't wait to make a modern kitty outfit with a t-shirt little dress. I want to get a boy someday and dress them as twins.

I've been going through this thread and have a question. Do the magnets in a LTF arrive loose? Should I plan to glue them in? Also, any idea if I should expect to find a gap in my Bisou's faceplate and should I tack it on with some eye putty?

I have one more question. I really like my Dollstown Sd girl. Do you like the way the LTFs look in the arms of a Sd size doll? Like a big sister to the little ones?

Pony, my LTF Pukisha is Tabitha, and I have a Realpuki Roro called Seren (Welsh version of Serena)

 

The head and back magnets arrived fixed in place, as with the magnets in their hands and feet. You won't need to glue any of those. They do include some extra magnets for the faceplates, but I personally have never needed to use them (though I do believe at least one of my faceplates actually has the magnet in place), and you'll only need to glue those if you have an ill-fitting faceplate.

I've also never had problems with a tight or loose faceplate. Small gapping is normal, but isn't a problem unless you're doing a bald doll--the wig will cover it and it doesn't mean the faceplate's going to fall off at any moment. I personally don't mind the gaps, myself, since it gives me a spot to grab the faceplate and pull it free when I'm switching them out.

 

So pretty and versatile, looking at all the Littlefee dolls saying nothing more than 'aaaaaaahhhhh' :-)

 

I came across an outfit that I wanted to order for my Mio LF that looked to be the size for the yosd, when I went to order there were two sizes for the outfit Volk usd and Luts HDF.
Does anyone know if either of these sizes will fit the littlefees?

Thank you for your help in explaining the magnets, Vicemage. I don't have any dolls with magnets anywhere but I their heads and none with faceplates. It seems like Fairyland is quite innovative with their dolls? I'm learning that posability is one of the things I really like and I might find myself liking the magnets and interchangeable faces once I get a chance to use them. I wish I would have ordered extra hands now. Maybe DDE keeps some spares in stock.

Bluemoonjules: well I certainly like the names of your dolls! Tabitha is still a favorite of mine but I'll do some more research so that there's no confusion in the threads.

Pony I'm pretty sure I'll forget all about the money once I have her in my hands but it still stings to spoil myself with such trivial things. She's my trial doll since I hope to one day own an SD I'm crazy about. She'll always have a special place in my heart though being the very first real BJD.

I've seen some nice names here so far, I hope I'll be able to name her properly when she arrives as well.

Dustbunnie - Thank you, it took me a bit of time to decide on them but I knew I wanted her first look to be strawberry blonde hair with grey eyes. The outfit is from the recent full set, I need to make time to sew but in the meantime I ordered some cute outfits on etsy. So I'm still working on modding some Soom Ai hooves to my other Littlefee Briella (she's a LTF Leah) and when I got her I also got the Saurang LTF faceplate.... And I got the brilliant idea to practice my face ups on him... Ugh now I need to go get him a body...

Auntbear, I thought the hair might be too carrot for the little bonnet. A similar colour wig to the brown will be Fleur (Bisou's) so I.expect she will wear the girlie dress.

Ever since I got my littlefee chloe I've sort of regretted not getting a luna in tan instead. -shakes head- But I realised that everytime I take photos of her I end up with a whole bunch...and I mean a whle bunch after I've sorted out those that arent that great! She's just so photogenic!

I should take a picture of her everytime I feel like I want a luna instead! Seeing all the photos of Lunnalie makes me forget all about tan luna x)
