I finally had a dolly day yesterday I did a bit sewing and today I went for a small Warsaw meet. Lulu went with me



and after I got home, I decided to snap some pics of her in her new clothes by me.

Shhh, don't tell her, but... someday she'll be an Elf El, too. Her "grown-up" version is going to be a girl Karsh, so they'll both need elf ears...

 

I have a question about the magnets in their head.

Has anyone been able to take them out, to flip them around? The bear ears I bought for my girl needs the magnet to be flipped the other way.

 

From what I've heard (you should probably check the Workshop section, though!), you can boil the EAR to make the resin expand a little, then pull out the magnet that is wrong and flip it around. I wouldn't try to mess with the magnets in the LittleFee head, because if you mess up the head piece, your face won't snap on correctly. I have Leeke horns that I've been meaning to do this with, and I just haven't gotten around to it yet! When I do I'll post about it!

 

The bear ears I bought is from someone off etsy, and they're painted so I don't think boiling the ear would be a very good idea

Oh yeah about the magnet, thats EXACTLY what happened to me with my Pipos ear. Luckly pipos was kind enough to take the ear back and change the magnet for me! ^o^ But yeah... I would definitely try to get the magnet out of the ear, not out of the LTF. My ear was painted... I think they drilled it out or something.. :/

 

Poor Hyde. One minute he's all cute and collared and the next he's forced to masquerade as a girl. *sigh* I really need to get that Flora face painted!



Of course, it's not very HARD work so he doesn't mind too much...

If I had to choose my favorite LTF sculpt, I think I'd choose Pipi, so how come I ended up with THREE Pikis?? *LOL* Well, one of them is a Puki...

Aw, thanks! After all that girly-dressing it's comforting to Hyde to know that he's still got it.

 

That's what I was going to suggest. My friend did that recently to one of her girls and it came right out. I suggest going with that.

Maybe my boys need instruments! Seems like both of them are in a mood today. Jonas is over getting himself in trouble and Knox is complaining that he's bored...while sitting on the porch with a lap full of toys.

I played around with my El/Elsbeth today. I really like this wig on her. She's wearing an outfit that came as a gift with my Limhwa Dodo. The skirt is a little short, but still cute. Look Kris.....she's wearing undies!! This is going to be the before pics....I'm sending her off for a nose mod.
