Fairyland LittleFee Discussion part 6

I know, I just can't HELP myself

And I WANT a Leah and that Artic fox faceplate. Storage is a bit of a problem considering that they share bodies. My 2010 res. is to finally make the faceplate display that I've been thinking/tinkering on. Now I just need to make it bigger.

Drat you Fairyland... and the crack that you add to dolls. They must add something to these little things.

Thanks Lady Kanna... Rachel and Piki are two molds that I like, then not so like, then kinda like again. Might just be the eye and wigs colors.


Also did anyone else get that ugly purple eyes from FL in their ltfs? My Bisou boy, BOY, has purple eyes and they do not work.
(I have two DZ boys with purple eyes, FYI, and they look great. *giggles*)

I finally got LTF of my own (and my sister's) to post here! After I read through the thread for, well, ever!

This is my Bisou Morgan, she's still waiting to try on different wigs.



She's the first BJD that I got with brown eyes! All the other got green eyes as their default!

I have request...do any of those who have Ante, have a straight wig without bangs? Preferably blond, if I would ask for monique blond it would be too much probably... thanks!

 

This is as close as I have. It's a monique "Ginger" wig. I think it's peach blonde/white blonde mix.

She was playing princess with her new dress from Luts and the princess sofa (throne) I got for her in christmas (she loves princesses)! Here she is pretending to be Sleeping Beauty:

 

dancingbee your girl is lovely. Blonde works well for her. Never thought about a fancy ball gown for them... mine tend to be in tees and jeans/knits. I guess that's more of a reflection of how I dress (cargos and a con Tee right now lol). Might have to get them all dressed up once.

sofia yup, had two bodies and now have two more when the Kindergarten full sets arrived. I like getting the full sets then selling the bodies. That way I don't have to deal with splits and such. But I might keep one now... I would be fun to pose all three togther, ne?
The only thing is trying to remember who has what gender body. I have no problem crossdressing them. To me they have genderless bodies. lol

I know exactly what you are talking about, Lady Kanna! It's uncanny. And I thought I was tiny cuteness-resistant I appreciate Fairyland/CP very much, their dolly engineering is first class, and one face is cuter than the next one, and so on...^^ (Shiwoo is still nagging in my mind because I preferred Bisou...)

Sofia, I also was told end of Feb ~ middle of March, and I ordered from Wind Dolls in France! They are running an amazing Fairyland event of their own now, additionally to the official one. They even added the LTF underpants I was looking for so desperately! - And you?

I noticed all my wigs were turning brown to black. I might have to find some blondes or red or something different for the little ones. So far its brown, brown, brown and brown. Oh, wait I have a black too. Wonder if I can find Flora's pink wig here?

YES! Yalissa, I got the 'ugly' purple eyes with my Bisou Girl recently. I don't want to offend anyone who likes the purple. After all, everyone has different tastes. In fact, if you DO like the purple, I will gladly send these to you without charge.

 

LillyKitten got those eyes with her Rachel and she was really pleased - it makes her girl look super creepy and really suits her! I agree though, they can be difficult to make work in a face.

 

Well, we live in different houses, and my sister likes to dress them with ruffles and frills. LOL but we do share.

Yup, Ante was Lotte : I think my sister wanted her to be sweet as the bubble gum. (Lotte is a brand for sweets) and my little Bisou name is Morgan. Just because it's 'M' after 'L'

I made Ember a new dress and socks! :3 (I might have gone a bit overboard with the ribbon.. >>; )
I had to make something to match the shoes I bought her, haha!



OMG, it was so COLD taking this picture! D: I plopped Ember down, moved her arms and hands into position, snapped the pic, then grabbed her and ran back inside... XD! The wind was brutal... D:

yalissa: purple eyes really really work well on some dolls but look ugly in others! I saw a Lishe with purple eyes and dark hair and I think she looked great! But Ive seen them in other LTF and I think they ruin them!!!

I had a ty girlz outfit for my Pipos Baha long ago...I loved it...I'd have never guessed it would fit these unless ty made another size???

Thank you! I was surprised that it turned out so well considering how it was totally rushed! I am a redhead with blue eyes, hehe! Ember was supposed to have green eyes like her mom, but FL gave me these blue ones as default and I fell in love with them. They're so expressive!

EDIT: I made a jacket for Ember! :3 The stitching is a little messy, but I wanted to sew it on the machine... Baaaaad decision! Haha. It fits just fine, but I really need to work out a pretty HAND-stitch to use that's like a machine-stitch.. Anyone know one?
(by the way, I was trying to get that effect where the fuzz peeks out from the seams... I saw an example at Hobby Lobby, which is where I bought the material, and wanted to try it out... ><)

I started using Mack's silicone ear plugs to keep the wigs on. It's WONDERFUL!! I can hang the girls upside down and the wigs stay put. Plus I've been able to come and style them without the wigs coming off. It was someone else's suggestion but a brilliant one!

The jacket looks really cute! I just bought some of the pink and the blue fabric like that at our local wally-world. But I haven't done anything with it yet.

 

She is darling in her Hello Kitty shirt! My girls all love Hello Kitty too. That flower matches perfectly! I just adore those little flower claws. I got some as a gift from a friend but have never seen them in stores. I'm still hunting!

OK, I am so right behind you. I have about $300 worth of clothes. I am learning to sew. I have a bedroom a bathroom and a living room for her, a ton of toys and props. And I am giving serious thought to building her a turret room.

I'm not sure I like Arianna's eyes, but I can always order a pair I like, right? And speaking of eyes, Zoe finally got her official eyes. This is the best pic of them:

You can just barely see the glitter, but they are from Mint on Card. Oh man, I didn't notice the flyaway hair from the wig when I was taking the picture.

What do you think about her eyes? I think they are just too light for her, and make her look a little too surprised. Arianna is Italian/Japanese, so I'm leaning towards black or a dark gray for her eyes. Although I'm open to other suggestions. And I will look into the wig fixing options.

*Speaking of face-ups, Zoe has the default face up, but she doesn't have the glittery face that Bisou has. Do they only add the glitter to fullsets? I do like the effect. You don't notice it until you are very close up. I'm dating myself, but it's like she's wearing Jean Nate lotion.

Thank you!! My girls like to mix it up with their styles. I'm totally a slob. Everything I wear comes from Old Navy. I'm strickly a jeans and t-shirt sort of gal. I used to be a girly girl, but I had kids and well, being a girly girl didn't come high on the priority list for me anymore.

I think those eyes made her look surprised. maybe you could push them up so that the pupils touch the upper lids, so she won't look as surprised? Maybe darker color eyes would work out better? Dark blue? Dark gray?

As for wig, what about silicone head cap?? I heard silicone ear plug works too.

 

I don't know if this is the right place to post this. I just received my first Littlefee two days ago, a girl Bisou. She came with my pukipuki Madeline. I instantly loved Pukipuki but I just can't seem to bond with my Littlefee. I think part of the problem is that the wig I had is horrible and just does't suit her. She also doesn't have any clothes yet. I keep looking at her trying to find something that I can bond with but it just isn't happening. Do you think I will be different once I 'find' her personality with clothes, wig etc etc?
