Oops, sorry- I was referring to their face-ups... it seems like they have very different default face-ups. I'd love to see two defaults, one regular Ante and one Elf Ante...

Today in Moscow it is 20 below zero. It is very cold! And so I wanted to post summer pics of my girl

 

Holy moly!!! and here I thought it was cold in CT at 13 degrees! You had better stay inside.

 

Wow, Maram.... aren't you glad you took these summer pics of your sweet Knopa so you could remember the warm and pleasant weather? I love Knopa's sidewalk chalks and how she wrote her name on the sidewalk!

 

I think, from what I've seen, that LTF Ante's and PKF Ante's don't look exactly the same. The pkf ones look a little happier? I've seen some together in pictures before and they really look like sisters!

WOW jeeze that is cold! And here I am complaining that it's 35 F here! O: (in my defense, that is ABNORMALLY cold for Georgia!) Is Knopa's name pronounced with a distinct 'k' sound, like 'k-no-pa' or slurred (that's the only way I can describe it) like 'no-pa'?
I have always thought that Russian letters look so cool, but wondered how to pronounce them! O: I'm such a nerd for language, haha~

Hee hee, thank you. Moth is actually the acronym of her full name, which is long and fancy.

The decision I have is whether or not I actually want to go for Leah and Bisou or if I should make their characters Antes. I absolutely adored Rachel and Bisou in the promo photos but I haven't felt that spark from the owner shots I've seen. I don't want to be disappointed by Leah, and from doing my research it appears that photos of Bisou are very hit and miss with regards to the crease under her eyes.

What I'm tempted to do is make Fuchsia a normal skin Ante and Asphodel and Moth a white skin Ante and Ante Elf. I have two Shushus and don't find them samey at all, and I'm thinking of playing on the 'are Asphodel and Moth real or are they figments of Fuchsia's imagination' concept.

@akaStarla, I was worried about the crease as well. IRL, it doesn't bother me- Bisou's adorable factor is overwhelming in person!

The shoes I have are for the 10" Ann Estelle. They are a bit big without socks, but perfect with them.
Bee has such a sweet face-but I know they can be otherwise at times!

I think Leah is definitely in our future and thanks about keeping Ember. So many people have voted for her to stay, I couldn't possible send her away. I'm thinking that I'm stuck with those two being twins. I'm not sure exactly where Leah will fit in....cousin? *ANOTHER* sister (I'm STILL wondering about these irresponsible resin parents who *keep* having kids and shipping them off!).

I can hardly keep up with this thread! Everyone's cuties are amazingly adorable as usual And I must have been living under a rock because I had no idea how well the TY Girlz clothes fit! And they're so inexpensive! The girls have a whole truckload coming in the mail now! Here's Emma in the outfit we bought to try out - found them at Walgreens in the checkout line of all places.

You can get Ty Girlz clothes separate. I found them last summer at one of the Hallmarks.

Hi everybody! I'm back again after the holidays and a computer breakdown. I was lucky enough to get a brand new computer from my family for Christmas though. *insert :happytears: smiley here* And Agnes has been helping me out setting it up.



Agnes: You should install the things from the USB-drive now. I know you've got pattern for LittleFee clothes there

Allowing your dolls to be TOO computer-savvy can have its downsides too though which you can see more about in the blog.

Little Leah IS a cutie and I'm quite fond of the fox head as well. But I think it's the polar bear puki that tempts both me and Agnes the most though.

I certainly empathise with you about the cold. It was -16°C (3°F) yesterday.. without the wind chill. Freakin' cold! Knopa Looks lovely in the summertime and that garden is beautiful!

They don't want you to stick to 2 LTFs. You are required to maintain an army of them.

Oh, I haven't seen that outfit before. I have several Ty Girlz outfits. The pants are a little long but the tops are great and the capris fit well too. I presume the skirts and dresses will but I haven't tried them yet.

HAH! You and I must have been under the same rock. I dug all over our valley tonight... and found them only at Rite Aid. These guys show up in the oddest places! My picspam isn't nearly as gorgeous as yours, but here is Elanor in another Ty outfit. The jacket is just a teeeeny tiny bit too long (but that works, since it's a jacket) and the capris fit like pants. I am loving this set and the quality was actually pretty decent for $10/doll. Can't wait to buy just the outfits... then it will be even more of a deal.

Well, I can announce that my little Bisou came home yesterday. I'll spam later today. I'm very happy to have her home, but I do have one quibble. Is the wig supposed to be more than a little loose/big? It looks good on her once I have it arranged, but I can't put the hood up on her jacket without the wig sliding around.

 

I always stick a little piece of the scratchy side of velcro on the head cap to help with wig slippage. That could help.

When I first decided to buy a bjd, I was only interested in SD and MSD, I said I would never get a little doll. Then I saw Ante and everything changed, I joined this thread and now I have Bisou on the way! This thread is "dangerous" I find myself thinking who next, example:Ante makes such an adorable boy, wouldn't it be nice to have boy/girl twins? Thanks to this thread though I know I am not alone!
