ruskyles The girls are fantastic. I love the outfits. Who made them? The wig on the left is beautiful and compliments her eyes. I love the wonderful blue eyes on the blond.

Well, I did it. I ordered Maggie a new carrot wig. The more I looked at the pictures I took yesterday, the more I realized she just wasn't Maggie anymore. I like her in the dark wig, but she just wasn't *right* anymore. So hopefully next week she will be back to normal!

And Ruskyles, your girls are gorgeous! I love their hair, their clothes, eyes - everything! They are sublimely perfect. I am jealous of how beautiful you were able to get the brown mohair wig, I have pretty much given up on them. And I am learning to crochet today, so this picture was a perfect inspiration to do well!

FeyFriend, it's such a difficult decision about faceups, isn't it? I know it took me quite awhile to figure out what I wanted to do with my female Elf El, Jinn-Jinn. So many possibilities! But once I actually had her in my hands and started working on her, it just seemed to come naturally. Hopefully your Elf El will speak to you creatively like that too once he arrives. I love the idea of long hair, by the way...he's starting to sound like a fantasy hero already!

All I really know about my boy is that he is some sort of fae. I think I'm leaning towards black or grey for his hair, so that should help when I go pick up the chalks for his face-up. I love how different Elf Els can look depending on the face-ups they get and how they seem to work equally well as boys and girls. My boy is going to get forced into modeling dresses as soon as he arrives. Hopefully he doesn't curse me for it.

 

Denhamgal, marambanu (Maria) made their outfits - aren't they beautiful? I love the wig on the brown eyed girl, too. I really need to give these two a name.

 

More spammage of the Ante girls....

 

This is surprising! Now that I actually HAVE the funds for a LittleFee, I am having doubts about ordering one right now! I'm considering waiting until summer and seeing if FairyLand will have another irresistible event... but at the same time I can feel an Ante Elf just yearning to come home to me!

It's one of the things I love most about the Els too...how awesome they can look as a boy, and how gorgeous they can look as a girl. Even before Fairyland came along, I was always absolutely mesmerized by how beautiful female El SDs were...and it seems to translate that way down through every size. The El is truly a versatile sculpt!
